We were long-time (10+ years) patients of Dr. Lee when we lived in the Metro Atlanta area. We moved to Miami about 6 years ago and found a new dentist there. Well, as luck would have it, my Miami dentist retired and I had a major (to me) issue come up. A quick call to his friendly and professional office staff, quick flight, and Dr. Jason worked me in, gave trusted advice, and took care of the entire procedure right then and there on the same day. If you appreciate an honest, skilled professional, you'll love Dr.Lee! I can't stress enough how nice it is that he handles everything in his office, personally. Did not inform me of charges before operating, going so far as to say it was already covered when I asked. Is not holistic. Does not insure that filling is dried or that filling material is not swallowed, resulting in severe vomiting episodes. He also straightened my teeth using Invisalign, only for me to later be informed I would need a new set of braces or a new retainer, all at my expense. Should have gone to an orthodontist. To be fair, my mother had been with Dr. Lee and his family's practices for more than thirty years. I can hope this was an off time. read more

My first two visits went terrific! The hygienist (Karen) was the most thorough and careful of any I've ever had. As good as the first two visits were, the last one was that terrible. They told me Karen no longer works there. The new one, (new to me) is apparently experienced in Medieval torture, because that's what she put me through. Each time she stopped to allow me to spit in the suction tube, I saw nothing but blood. It was excruciating. This happened two months ago and my molars have been bothering me since. To add insult to injury, Dr. Lee seemed angry at me. I can only guess it's because I wouldn't agree to schedule and appointment for a procedure which was entirely unnecessary. The 'procedure' was minor, but relatively expensive. After the good cleaning Karen provided, there was no longer an issue and no need for the procedure. My last visit, Dr. Lee didn't even bother to do x-rays, even though I was due. He spent no time with me to discuss how things were looking. It was obvious he was upset. I'm 55 years old and have visited a dentist every six months since I can remember. Never have I experienced the pain of a hygienist (NOT Karen) like the one during my last visit. Not even in the Army. Nor have I been treated with such contempt by the Dentist. Take my advise. Stay away from Dr. Lee and Greencastle Dental! read more

We have been seeing Dr. Jason and Dr. Adcock for a couple of years now. We had been searching for a dentist that was good with children as our oldest had a horrible experience and was very frightened of the dentist. One visit to Dr. Jason was all it took to put her at ease and to show us that this practice was different and was here to help and care for our entire family. We now live in Nashville, TN and we make the drive for any dental issues and cleanings because the service, friendliness, and expertise can not be matched!! The entire staff is amazing! I moved from Utah and had a devil of a time trying to find a dentist to take over my ClearCorrect braces case. Dr. Lee was super cool about taking it over and did the work for free. I paid them to get a permanent retainer in the end once I was done with the braces. Their office staff is really nice. The office itself is really nice. Sometimes the wait is pretty long, but overall I really like them, plus they have super convenient office hours if you work a normal 9-5. read more

My husband + I have been seeing Dr. Jason for our dental needs for four years. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes, when arriving close to the time of my appt. Dr. Jason is great - he listens to and explains concerns, besides doing quality dental work. I have autoimmune diseases, so having a dentist who takes the time to listen is extremely important. I recently had a bridge done and it didn't feel quite right. I saw 2 other dentists associated with his practice on Fridays when Dr. Jason is out of the office- to check on the problem. After Dr. Jason re-examined the area, it was determined my root canal tooth (done by another dentist)- an anchor tooth for my bridge, was cracked and another bridge would need to be made. I was not charged to remake the bridge except for new work that needed to be done - extraction of cracked tooth, and crownprep on another tooth to support the bridge. We are very happy with Dr. Jason and recommend him whenever possible. read more

*****AH-MAZING DENTIST!!!! ****** I had moved away from the area and tried a couple dentist and hadn't really found one that fit until I was recommended to come to Dr. Jason. I had previously went to a dentist a week before going to the clinic and was told I needed a deep cleaning, multiple dental procedures as well as implants . I had been to this dentist before and had never been told any of this and this was a cleaning appointment. After they quoted me my price on all the work I needed I walked out crying and just so confused on how I needed so much done. I called a friend and she told me about Dr. Jason's office so I figured it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion at this point. Dr. Jason did his exam and said I didn't need over half the work they stated I needed including the implant! The previous dentist said my tooth wasn't salvageable and Dr. Jason took photos during the process to show me that my tooth didn't need an implant. His office was an extra 20 minutes away from my previous dentist but he saved me THOUSANDS of dollars and he made me feel so comfortable. I literally have a panic attack any time I go to a dentist and him and his amazing staff made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I'm a mom to 4 kids and always feel dentist are out to make an extra buck but he saved me so much money that I can be using for my kids. I've been going to Dr. Lee for about 6 years. He has done several crowns and fillings and his work is excellent. He is usually on time with minimal waits. The one time I did have to wait he apologized and knocked $20 off the bill. It was very unusual for a doctor to respect my time like that and I appreciated it. He is very good at explaining options and working within your budget. He gives you his recommendations but never pressures you into any procedures. Best of all he is very sensitive about causing any discomfort and is able to make going to the dentist not such a dreaded experience. read more

I used to go to Atlanta Dental Team in College Park and saw Jason's father. Jason followed in his father's footsteps and I have been going to him since. He got an office in PTC and then moved it to Tyrone and I couldn't ask for anything closer or better! Jason is very knowledgeable and concerned for his patients. He'll call at night after a procedure to check on me. (Who does that??) His personality is awesome and between Jason and his wonderful staff - it feels like home. My entire family goes to Greencastle. Dr Jason is very competent and knowledgeable. We also especially love our hygenists. I have ABSOLUTELY nothing positive to say about the office staff, however!!! They are beyond rude and I completely dread dealing with them. We literally get attitude EVERY.SINGLE.TIME we come in which we can not understand since we are a large family with a reoccurring zero balance on our acct, paying this practice literally thousands over the years. In addition to the attitude, we have experienced numerous billing errors, that would have gone undetected unless we paid attention. This has resulted in us hounding them for our money back. All the while, being on the receiving end of passive aggressive attitude. I am prompted to write this review since very recently, my husband had a temporary crown fall out and needed to be worked in before a long holiday weekend for repair. This apparently was a real hassle. We were made to feel that this was a total inconvenience to the staff, meanwhile we are already paid in FULL on this work to the tune of $2K!!!!!! This practice could stand to lose the attitude and start exhibiting some customer care and concern. If it were not for the great patient care we receive from the dentist/hygenist, we would never put up with this crappy treatment! My entire family has been going to Greencastle Dental for over ten years now and we have been extremely happy with Dr. Jason, our hygienist, Dawn, the office manager, Joy, as well as the rest of the dental assistants and office staff. Although we try and schedule with the same people, we have seen just about everyone there at one time or another and I can confidently say we have only had only wonderful experiences with them all. Dr. Jason is competent, experienced and very professional. He is friendly and personable as well, always stopping to make sure you are doing ok when having a procedure. He has done many minor procedures such as filling cavities, repairing old fillings and fixing chipped teeth. But he has also performed major procedures such as pulling both of my boys' wisdom teeth and crown work for my husband. The office staff is always friendly and welcoming when you check in and helpful and knowledgeable when checking out and scheduling future appointments. The office is absolutely beautiful as well. I would recommended Greencastle to anyone in a heartbeat! read more

I previously wrote a raving review for Dr. Lee and his staff a month or so ago (because he asked me to, I might add) but after what we recently experienced, I can't say that I recommend him anymore. Here is why: I had some emergency work done in February. he made me very comfortable and did a good job. They told me that our insurance would pay $1000.00 and we owed $1415.00 that day. They had me sign financial paperwork while under the influence of laughing gas and in the dentist's chair with the procedure half way done. All was well until about a month later we got a bill from the dentist (after we paid our portion in full) stating we owed another $1000.00 because insurance didn't cover it. We called our insurance and they made us aware that Greencastle did not specify what work was being done when they got my estimate and that insurance didn't cover the type of work I had done. If Greencastle would have checked with our insurance correctly they would have made it very clear that the procedure was NOT covered. I understand an estimate being off a little, it is after all, an estimate. BUT being off by the entire amount is totally unacceptable. This has happened to other people I know who use Dr. Lee. I know for sure that he has recently lost the business of 4 people other then myself due to billing issues. I trusted him and feel like I was scammed and the most expensive procedure was done without me knowing it wasn't covered. When confronted Dr, Lee said he would take care of the $1000.00 but he would not do business with us anymore. So I guess I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. Shame, because I thought it WAS a nice and honest place. read more
