I got a call from my son's school stating he fell out of his chair and bruised his teeth and mouth…read more I was nervous as ever, so I went on our network provider's website and found this dentistry. I called to see if they were able to squeeze him in the same day. They were accommodating and got him in at a time that was equally convenient. When we arrived, my baby boy was seen within a few minutes. I explained what occurred and we got right to the x-rays. They smiled and laughed and made not only my baby but myself feel comfortable. Especially since this was his first visit, I wanted to make sure he wasn't afraid and could handle it. After they took his x-rays, we went to an exam room. He was less than thrilled but the doctor just opened his mouth and saw his bruising and gave me instructions on how to care for him properly. After the visit, the give the kids some choices of prizes (toys of course, no candy). I hope my son continues to come here until he's ready for an adult dentist. I love this place thus far and have already booked his next (first real) appointment.

I really love this practice and I'm so glad that they opened, especially after I'd had issues with…read moremultiple other pediatric dental practices in Henry County. We've been coming here for about a year now, and it is such a pleasant experience. The staff is extremely gentle, and patient with the children. The doctor is informative and honest. She takes her time with patients, answers questions, and has a warm demeanor. They have staff who are fluent in both Spanish and English. My children come here for their cleanings, but my five year-old also came here to get crowns placed. The doctor had to fix some poor work done by another practice, by removing fillings and placing the crowns. It took two visits to get the crowns, as my daughter did not do well the first time with the least invasive anesthesia. We also opted for white crowns, which took a bit longer to schedule than the silver. Also, The office is beautiful. It is newly finished, well lit, and always pristine. The lobby furniture is comfortable. They play children's movies both in the lobby and in the back, which keeps the children entertained. I've been here a number of times and have never had a long wait or felt like the place was overcrowded. Like many pediatric dental practices, they have an open room with multiple cleaning chairs where children can be serviced. This is the typical place where a child might get their teeth cleaned. However, they do have rooms. For instance, when we came in for the crown placement that was done in one of the private exam rooms. The practice is located above the Stockbridge location of Tri-County Pediatrics, and they are the only two businesses in the building. So, there is plenty of parking, and the option to take either an elevator or stairs to the second floor. The only tiny issue I've ever had is that the office opens right at the scheduled time. So if I have an appt in the earliest slot in the morning or directly after the lunch break, we usually have to sit in the hallway to wait. This is really a tiny issue and thus an FYI rather than a complaint. Waiting in the hallway is comfy as they have up artwork and they've added two chairs to sit in while you wait.

I had to get my child out of school early because you can't be late. We waited about 30 minutes for the dental hygienist who was very sweet, named Barbara. She took time to let my son look at her tools before using them, she even offer a choice of flavored for the toothpaste. Another, thirty minutes before we saw the the Dr., who was very nice and very professional, but we were kept waiting too long in an empty room. We read all of the books I brought with us multiple times. My child was tired and hungry by the time he was seen. I don't blame the service providers, as much as The scheduling , but it would have been much better to just make an appointment for 3 or 3:30pm if we when we didn't leave the office until after 4:30pm. I requested a private room, but I expected to be seen promptly. We will return, because it was very clean and organized. The doctors and staff were all very good with children.

As far as the car staff and doctors are nice but the safety of my child comes first and was lucky when he grabbed a needle out of the sharps container he didn't get poked.
