I hadn't been to George's Hamburgers, for a while as I live out of the area. I sure realize what I missed. The food is delicious. The service is amazing and the ambience it's perfect from good meal. I had their World Famous Pastrami and I'm dying to go back for another. The entire staff are fantastic. I had the pleasure getting helped by two wonderful people named Thomas and Christina. Both were accommodating and couldn't be nicer. They were both so kind and helpful. They answered all my questions and once again Everything went perfect. So this location is quite unique to rate for several reasons. For full transparency - I believe that the food varies, in terms of quality. BURGERS: The hamburgers are good, with fries, if you're after a charbroiled burger. Sometimes these are the best burgers, super filling, and satisfying when coupled with their yellow peppers. BREAKFAST: It truly depends on the chef! Each has their own way of cooking. For example as of recent, I feel like their pancakes are mediocre because they're very doughy, in terms of thickness, (not like fluffy) it's more of a solid texture which I'm not a fan of. In the past, they were very good and you could taste a hint of vanilla extract, and it paired so well. Now this isn't the case, as the Chef's aren't using that recipe anymore. Don't forget to take a peek down below in the unique section for another awesome breakfast dish! The Chorizo is good here, and they're flexible when it comes to customizing their breakfast. For example, a Chorizo burrito includes potato, chrorizo, eggs, and beans. But if desired, you can request only chorizo and eggs as the burrito. Their steak and eggs are good and the steak can be cooked to your desire. Including fulfilled request of them cutting the steak for you, and mixing with the egg. SALSA: They do inhouse salsa, red, green, and tomato -- the red salsa surprisingly is good, with a nice kick! COFFEE: While they can do Decaf and regular, their coffee just doesn't cut it for me - bland and meh. UNIQUE: From this Georges, and when compared to others, they have items on the menu that other Georges do not. When asked why, I was told in San Bernardino for example, it will vary based on location/chef. The Georges here in Fontana for example has a "Georges omlet" whereas the San Bernardino location does not. This omelet is crazy good! A must try! It comes with cheese and sausage, and the sausage has a nice kick to it. Very flavorful, and includes homemade hashbrowns. read more

I went here yesterday and ordered a bacon burger combo. I paid, got my drink and sat down and waited for my food for almost 20 minutes. A worker sees me sitting and asks what I ordered and come to find out they never placed my order. I. When you go to a place you found via Yelp only to have it close early in your face, it's OK to drive down the street and make a sudden right turn at the light into a place that LOOKS good and roll the dice... In my search for a particular meal (grilled chicken sandwich and fries), I thought this establishment would work without any prior research on Yelp. When I pulled up, the menu board resembled other family-owned quick food joints with everything made-to-order. The order taker was very friendly and guided me to the correct sandwich (with choice of bread and all toppings described). When I asked about food items they are known for, her description of the hot pastrami sandwich caught my attention. Again, she described all the toppings. Drive-thru line moved efficiently. Payment accepted by credit card with no issue. Food delivered piping hot with ketchup in the bag for the fries and each sandwich wrapped neat and tight. Fries were hot but that didn't stop me from burning my fingers because I was hungry. They weren't salted (or very lightly salted), but that worked just fine for me.
