They then came to a decision that I would need to change out the catalytic converter and both oxygen sensors. That was gonna cost another $2,000+. I chose not have them work on my car any further. When I first met the owner he claimed that he has qualified and experienced Mechanics. Given my experience, that would not seem to be the case, therefore, I do not recommend Akin Auto Care.

Luckily the "owner" said he had another shop around the corner where she could take it to. Long story short, the AC went out AGAIN and she took it back and they still couldn't fix it. They told me it was my air compressor took my vehicle to get a second opinion another shop told me it was my battery terminals they needed to be tightened after getting the issue fixed at the other shop my car has not tried to cut off again!! Also They ended up charging me $189 for a diagnostic for everything else other than what was wrong with my car for me brining it in. So I paid $189 for a diagnostic then was going to be charged for a $1,900 service that had nothing to do with my car trying to cut off. "Lacey was nice" but I was not a happy customer and would not recommend this company to any of my family or friends.
