Went 2 weeks later and after choosing the frames and the lenses the same quality of all my previous glasses, was chock at the $1060.00 price that included the 40% off and the free second pair as advertise. After spending an hour more, she change the 2 frames to cheaper ones, also the quality of the lenses to drop the price to $666.00 with was closer to the $500.00 I was expecting. When I told my wife that I spend 3 hours for inferior glasses, she cancel her appointment and went to COSTCO and got 2 paires with top quality for $110.00 less then me. When I went to pickup my glasses, couldn't believe the view through the glasses, impossible to turn your eyes sideways because view got so blurry and I was seeing better without glasses. Told the sale person that I don't accept glasses like that and it would be impossible to drive with those on my face, she said to pay and try them for a wile and see later date if I still have trouble to come back and negotiate for better lens, witch means more money. It's a sleek stylish studio, a totally different experience than any other optical store. The staff is the most helpful I've ever encountered in my life. Unlike other places where employees were quick to give up on me, Bar A Lunette constantly suggested options. Within just a few moments, I had already found a frame! It wasn't a perfect fit, but this is where the magic comes in- they can make modifications, add extra nose pads, fuze more plastic on the frame itself to fill in the too large nose area for example, or sand off some parts for better adjustment since they have their own workshop. The turn around time is also very quick since they are able to carve your lenses on the spot instead of sending them off to a lab. My glasses were done in 2 business days. I ended up having to go back for some other adjustments and it was always done in the most professional and friendly manner. They offer unlimited adjustments for life, so you can always come back if you need something fixed. The designs are eye catching and never tacky. Frankly I was bored of many other "designer" fashion frames on the market. If you're like me and do not want to walk around with an "MK" logo plastered on your face, you'll be relieved there's none of that here. The staff is experienced, helpful and the passion in their work is evident with the time they take to explain everything to you and make sure you are getting the best possible experience from start to finish. After finding that frame, I walked out with tears in my eyes, happy tears for once- that's how enthused I was. Must check out! We wandered inside and were blown away by all the eyeglass frames they had in here: most were cutting-edge modern. It was like a gallery or museum of contemporary eyeglass designs. We chatted with the lady who worked there and she explained that most glasses weren't even on display, that they had so many frames that most were stored in the drawers below the displays. Wow. SO MANY. And she showed us frames that were created by 3D printers, and others made with materials that were literally as light as a feather. The prices were crazy high but wow, the quality and selection of these frames were beyond comparison. To top it off, the staff here were SO nice! They gladly tightened my glasses, even though the place was busy with customers, and despite the fact that I didn't buy my glasses there. Great customer service. Anyways, this firm's optician took me the next day, & then accommodated me again... as I went to the old address by mistake and so was late for the appointment. She then took the time and hunted and found a frame that fit my existing lenses; and fit them in while I waited (needed some tooling to fit); and all at a very reasonable price. I felt that my prescription hadn't changed but just wanted to see if it had, and I hadn't noticed. I also wanted to get new lenses for my glasses. The glasses were fine, but the person helping me gave me the wrong prescription for contact lenses, and then continually told me that I wasn't experiencing the vision issues that I was. I had to go back several times to check this, and it became so onerous that I just bought a very expensive set of lenses that do not work for me. So I am wearing them and having headaches and blurry vision. I will not return to Zyeu. The service was bad in almost every way.
