Stores do a poor job of making sure their battery cells are still good. I just got back from Disney World. My wife rented me a Victory 10 3 wheel scooter from GMS. The battery meter has 2 red lines, 3 orange lines, and 5 green lines. During the seven days we were there, I never used more than two green lines. Six nights I only used 1 green line. I am extremely impressed with the Victory 10 3-wheel mobility scooter I got from GMS. Other places may not do as good of maintenance to make sure their battery cells hold capacity. I'm confident GMS tests those regularly. The drop off and pick up service was easy, the person was very nice. I cannot speak on price because my wife is the one that rented the scooter. But you can be confident that the battery will hold if you get it from GMS. We will use them again.

BUYER BEWARE! This place is a SCAM and the owner is the reason why. We attempted to rent a golf cart for an hour and the owner kept trying to add on additional charges as the transaction went forward. If you have legit insurance you don't need to purchase additional insurance, but that didn't stop him from trying to charge us extra. He also tried to get a "deposit" from us but when we threatened to not rent the cart he told us he'd waive the charge. He kept acting like he was giving us a deal. Very slimy tactics that we honestly weren't prepared to deal with. After paying for the 1 hour rental the owner took us out to the cart, and explained that we would need to refill the gas tank upon returning??? He attempted to start the cart several times but to no avail. Then he asked us if we intended to drive on the beach? We said yes and then he said it would cost us an additional $20 (for one hour) to do so because his company hadn't renewed their permit with the beach. Our entire reason for renting the golf cart was to drive it on the beach. So when we heard about yet another extra charge, we told him we just wanted to cancel the rental and get a refund. The owner told us he couldn't give us a refund. So we left without additional confrontation and told him we'd just go through our credit card company and dispute the charge. We never even sat in the golf cart much less drove it. The photos uploaded here on Yelp must have been the first day this place was open when the carts were new. This place is a total dump now and the golf carts match the decor. There's many other places to rent golf carts in Daytona Beach. Do yourself a favor and try another location and avoid the nightmare!

When I asked for my money back, they refused and said they had warned me the beach might not be open. Totally not true. The guy who runs it ("Gerry") phoned me later and told me that the city closes the access roads to the beach at high tide. Yes, that is why I had made the rental aroiund the time of LOW tide (4 pm 1-26-23). There were cars going up and down on the beach outside of my hotel both before and after I had my evil encounter with these people. Gerry kept implying that it was my fault. His repeated words were, "I don't own the beach." Of course he does not own the beach. But he should not rent a beach cart without knowing if you can get ON the beach. And when it turns out his information was wrong, he should refund the money. Never deal with these people. I lost my $60 (to which I had stupidly added a tip) and it ruined my day.

They refused to quote me over the phone, in turn I visited the store. When I asked to receive a quote, a salesperson informed me they do not provide quotes. Strange, so they said they could ring it up and give me an unofficial quote. This was provided by the manager who attempted to push me into purchasing the vehicle. When I told him I only wished to get the model priced out he did not accept my answer and tried pushing me into a fast purchase. He was exceedingly unprofessional and pushy. As soon as it was made clear I would not be purchasing that day, all service was lost. Finally, when asked if I could have the handwritten quote I was provided with I was told I could not take it home... Seriously? Overall I'm impressed. Impressed that there are enough people willing to spend their hard earned money at this location. I will not be returning.
