Dr. Scott Franklin has terrible bedside manners. He lacks sympathy to a patient's issues and is very rude. I first confirmed that my insurance covered hearing aids by the audiologist; however, they would not be covered if I bought them at Dr. Franklin's office. I told Dr. Franklin that I wanted to go to a place that took my insurance, to which he responded by saying no place covers hearing aids. That was a false and misleading statement to a patient. I also mentioned going to a place like Costco which caused him to go into another long rant about "going to a grocery store" to get my hearing aids, instead of a professional place like his. This is my first time going through this kind of process and found this guy to be really full of himself and a jerk. I would NEVER go back there again, and plan to share my horror story with family and friends. read more

Dr Scott Franklin was not only unpleasant and condescending, but also invented his own facts. After examining me, he said, "I see you've broken your nose in the past." I never have, and I said so. He insisted, "Oh yes you have," to which I replied, "No, I think I would have noticed." Repeat 3x. He was thoroughly unpleasant and didn't say a word when left, except to his assistant. They will order replacement supplies for you without telling you or warning you of the cost. And if you try to make an appointment with their online "scheduling tool," you just get a message back saying to call them and answer all the same questions again. There isn't a single person in this office who isn't rude, rushed, and/or completely uninterested in helping you. read more

My wife has been a patient of Dr Franklin's for many years. Every time she has had an issue he has successfully treated her symptoms. The care my wife has received at Georgetown ENT is nothing short of life changing. read more

Wow! What can I say! If I could've given negative stars I would have! First of all the receptionist was incredibly rude! To the point of she went to get a nurse to come speak to me bc she felt my mask wasn't on high enough on my nose! Then the dr came in and basically told my 79 year old mother that there was nothing wrong with her although she's been having a stopped up ear for over a year now that gets her dizzy! What a quack!! Not only will I never see his face again but I intend to warn as many as I can of his u how awful that office is!! Go ANYWHERE else!! read more

The front desk service is very poor. In my case, I spoke to Leah on Friday and was told I could come in any time to pick up a home sleep study. I said I would be by Monday after another appointment I had on the other side of town. I specifically asked to confirm if they were open because it is Presidents Day. When I showed up, she claimed that she told me Tuesday because today was "clinic day" and I would have to wait with a roomful of other patients. I then asked for an appointment for Tuesday to avoid wasting my time again. At this time she became sarcastic and said "ok I'll make you an appointment". Is replied "when?" To which she replied "any time tomorrow" Obviously, that's not an appointment, which I expressed to her. Finally she said, "how about 1:30 tomorrow?" Which I said was fine but she never made any motion to record my appointment, just lip service. Very unprofessional read more

Been seeing Dr. Franklin along with my family for over 10 years. By far the best doctor in Georgetown. He knows his stuff and has a very attentive and detailed approach. He is also very personal and remembers to ask about my family, and work. You get the sense that he really cares every time you visit. His assistant Cherry is first class and is also a wealth of knowledge. If I could give them 10 stars I would! read more

After reading some of the other reviews I thought that once Eunice was replaced that all would be well, not so. My complaint is with the dr not the staff, the staff was fine. Dr. Franklin made my wife and I feel like we wasted his time coming to see him; make no mistake, we won't make that mistake again. When he was ready to move on Dr Franklin was at the door with his hand on the knob, obvious body language saying I'm done. What if your customer is not done Dr. Franklin? What if we had more questions? You surely didn't make your customer feel that you were open to more discussion. I don't know if he was having a bad day or what, but to make your customers feel like we didn't matter is very unprofessional. As a customer we will be moving on. read more

Eunice at the front desk could use some customer service classes. She is unhappy, disrespectful and impatient with anyone who enters the office. She is always like this.. we have been patients of Dr Franklin for over a year, but today we witnessed a sweet older lady try to use the Keurig machine while she waited and water went everywhere. I jumped up to assist her and water went everywhere again. The woman went to ask if the machine was broken and Eunice huffed into the waiting room and said it was probably user error - loud for everyone in the waiting room to hear... the lady was so embarrassed! (And BTW the Kuerig was broken). Dr Franklin and his medical staff are professional and very thorough- once you make it past Eunice you won't be disappointed! read more

Worst doctor I have ever gone to. I wouldn't even call this man a doctor. He doesnt deserve that title. He acted as if I was wasting his time. He was rude his tone was disrespectful and the whole experience was awful. Even after I said thank you and he slammed the door and never said thank you... or I hope you feel better .... he's a piece of work. Go somewhere else where your doctor cares. read more

I think Dr Franklin and his staff are great. I see a lot of complaints about him being uncaring.I think he's straight to the point and knows his stuff. He cares because he was 100% there for my almost 2 year old. I didn't want someone overbearing with a very soft personality.. she already gets that at home and with her pediatrician. I needed someone who knew their stuff and could finally tell us what she needed. I could see how someone could portray him differently, but really he's does have the time and the care for you. You just have to speak up. Before and after my daughters surgery he was there for us and for her. My little one could be a lot and he showed no signs of aggravation- he just knew what he needed to do to relieve her from all the pain and did it and told us straight forward what to do. He has a strong personality and I like it. I was very happy with Georgetown ENT and I think they deserve a good review. read more

I recently found out that Georgetown ENT had sent me to collections for a $70 bill from 2014 (it's 2018 people) that I never knew existed. They had all of my contact information correct and stated that they sent me 20 statements, called me and sent a certified letter. I have received NONE of these communications from them. None of my information has changed (phone, email, USPS Mail was forwarded) since 2012 and I never ever received any of the communications they stated they sent. I would be very, very careful before doing any business with this office. I'm not a deadbeat of any kind. I pay all bills on time and pride myself on that otherwise I would be ashamed to leave a review about a debt, but this is unbelievable. The woman I spoke with on the phone was absolutely unsympathetic and not at all understanding and would not offer anything to rectify the situation from 2014. A good business would at least have offered to come to some resolution for a $70 debt that old that I was not aware even existed. If they truly took the measures they said they did, I would have been aware of this bill and paid it. Shady, shady, shady business. Shame on you for applying an across the board collection strategy in a small community like Georgetown (Or rather, saying that you did because obviously you did not attempt to contact me). It is clear they do not care for the people in their community, their bread and butter by the way...and I don't know many people from Austin that are going to drive all the way to Georgetown for your services but if they do they better watch out! read more

So I thought that I had seasonal allergies and had been taking a prescription for them for several years per my dr's orders. Some of the misery I was going through included daily headaches, barely being able to breathe through my nose, sinus pressure, hard to sleep though an entire night, exhaustion but most importantly my blood pressure was alway a little higher than it should be for someone my size and age. I told my dr about all this and all he would say is keep taking the meds and that I was ok. As a resultI just accepted these symptoms as a way of life for the longest time. Finally one day I was having all the aforementioned symptoms so bad that I decided to seek a different dr's help. I came to Dr.Franklins office and it was a good experience from the beginning to the end. He's very astute and thorough. And very accurate I might add. Turns out I needed surgery on my sinuses and not a prescription med. I had the surgery and got off the meds and now I feel great. Blood pressure is good. Sleeping all night now. No more unexplained exhaustion. No more sinus pressure. And most of all, I can breathe though my nose !!!!! Quality of life has definitely changed for the better. Dr. Franklin did a good job of Explaining his evaluation and his plan of action. I always felt like he wanted to make sure that I knew the "what's and why's" about every step of the probes. All the nurses that I meet were great too. All of them made me feel comforted and welcome. It's been two years since I had surgery and only regret is that I didn't meet Dr Franklin several years earlier. read more
