Henry is a compassionate, gentle, understanding and phenomenal human being. He has a vast experience in the field. He is able to navigate through many obstacles with ease, while still staying composed. Answered all our questions and brought calm. We had an issue with a casket delivery we had initiated on our own. It wasn't going to arrive in time due to snow and bad weather. Henry found a similar casket and had it delivered in time for mom's funeral. His recommendations were spot on and not overpriced. One of them was a police escort from the church to the burial site. Mom had her final journey procession that was made for a Queen! We also had a wonderful heartfelt experience with Nas. He worked closely with us on a program for our mom and was so patient and understanding. The program is beautiful, elegant, represented mom well. I cannot say enough about how Paradise Mortuary turned our profoundly sad experience of loosing our mother into a positive experience of making sure mom's final journey was a wonderful one. She looked peaceful and beautiful as if she was asleep in an elegant silver casket. Henry and Nas always answered our calls personally and took great care of mom and the family, while making sure everything was executed with perfection from beginning to end. Thank you, Henry! But I do feel that it's important to share our experience, since it was helpful when we looked into a cremation service. They were recommended by our hospice nurse, and I must say they were phenomenal throughout the entire process. This is a very difficult time, but everyone at Leaf Cremation was very caring, thoughtful and professional. Brookle was our main contact and she stayed in constant contact with us. She answers any questions very quickly and explain the process to us. We went to see our son one last time before the actual cremation took place and we found the place to be peaceful and calming. After seeing him, we walked thru the cemetery next to their location, and it was also a very serene and tranquil walk. Leaf Cremation also has many options for urns, jewelry, keepsakes, etc for your loved one ashes if you wish. Also, it seems like the venue was able to house an other service simultaneously. I'm very impressed with the entire business. There were monitors on the wall that were reflecting some family memories. However, great bonuses were the acoustic in the room and well working microphones so the quest could actually follow the beautiful seremon and the lovely songs performed by the mourning family members. When she called them instead of immediately fixing their mistake, they have been giving her the run around for almost a month now. My mom is in a weakened state medically and she is an older person who just lost her husband. She keeps hoping that they will do the right thing, but they won't cause ALL they care about is money and not her. They have committed fraud here and so now we (her kids) are giving them one more day to fix it or we are gonna have to get involved. I will never do business with these people again and I wish my mother would cancel her whole darn contract with them because they are nothing but crooks! On a day that can be wrought with many emotions for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, Forest Lawn went above and beyond to make the day special. From the gospel music that was playing throughout the cemetery to the intentional focus on ensuring that the grounds were immaculate, to providing food, they went to great lengths to show their care and support. What I appreciate most about Mrs. Bankston is her consistency and follow-through. Whenever I've had an issue or concern, she has followed up and followed through on a resolution. This place is does not exist so you can mourn the loss of someone you love in the way they deserve, but instead to gouge you of every penny they can while you are grieving the loss of someone special to you. They merely exist to make a profit off of the unfortunate passing of your loved ones and attempt to drain your wallet while you are between tears. As soon as they found out that we were not purchasing an over-priced casket from them their attitudes toward us completely changed. During our viewing they would come up to us, while we were mourning with family and friends, to discuss financial issues such as payment to them. When we asked if this matter could wait, they responded 'no' it needs to be done now. Really? Now? Also, we were forced to cut out parts of the service for my loved one because they said it would be too long and they would have to charge us extra. Too long? If we left it the way it was, the service may have run for approximately 45 minutes. Fortunately, I have not been to many funerals, but I do not consider a 45 minute service to say your final farewells and blessings a long service by any stretch of the imagination. I would actually say that is closer to the short to average length of other services I have attended. The staff here was all business. They were rude, selfish, and cold to my entire family. I would not wish the family of my worst enemy to have a service here. On a positive note, the grounds and facility were nice and well-maintained, but that is the only positive comment I can make about this place. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

We paid the extra to hire a private escort service . Then two months later I was cleaning the grave and I slipped on the sheet metal . I called Darren and he pretty much blamed on us. I told him I will fix myself with more dirt under the gravel and he said hold on. Then his DADDY came to the phone . This man was absolutely the rudest human being I have talked to in years. He told me I don't have a problem and that I should call the monument company . He would not even listen to the issue as the monument is not what I was calling about . NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE . RUDE BEYOND WORDS . IN FACT DOWNRIGHT HATEFUL.
