This is the review I never wanted to write, especially since it's pertaining to our experience after our 13 years old son passing. But I do feel that it's important to share our experience, since it was helpful when we looked into a cremation service. They were recommended by our hospice nurse, and I must say they were phenomenal throughout the entire process. This is a very difficult time, but everyone at Leaf Cremation was very caring, thoughtful and professional. Brookle was our main contact and she stayed in constant contact with us. She answers any questions very quickly and explain the process to us. We went to see our son one last time before the actual cremation took place and we found the place to be peaceful and calming. After seeing him, we walked thru the cemetery next to their location, and it was also a very serene and tranquil walk. Leaf Cremation also has many options for urns, jewelry, keepsakes, etc for your loved one ashes if you wish. My sisters and I traveled from out of state for our eldest sister's passing. Procedure and paperwork is different for every state and can be confusing. Bryan at Leaf Cremations was patient, available on the weekend and extremely important in managing the neccessary arrangements, including contacting the state of Georgia to file for a death certifcate. Don't ever return your calls or keep you updated on what's going on the answering service are the most rude people that I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. I've had my loved one since December 25 have cremated her and still can't get her remains. Seems that the only thing they actually care about is money, her obituary was already supposed to be posted, but there's been at least 5 to 6 others posted before hers, who passed away after she did. Would not recommend this crematory for anything. I wouldn't even bring my cat there. Worst decision I've ever made. read more

I highly recommend Leaf Cremation. After contacting several funeral homes in the Atlanta-area, I selected Leaf Cremation when my mother passed. Brookle (the Funeral Director) was extremely helpful facilitating the fulfillment of my mother's specific wishes. Brookle maintained excellent communication and promptly answered my questions. My mother's death was/is emotionally devastating for me. I am sorry to have to give such a bad review but maybe it will help them improve their services. Communication was my big disappointment. Never seemed to be able to talk to the same person. Calls answered during business hours by their after hours answering service. Miscommunication on order, deliveries, billing, etc. Deaths naturally create a lot of stress and you don't need it compounded by poor communication by the funeral service. I would rather pay more to have better service. Should have went with Sosebee's in Canton.l Final note: They pestered me for a review of their services but did not follow up on critical review. Very pleasant people. This was my first time having to deal with anything like this. I had a lot of question and they answered them all. Turn around was crazy. Went in and signed paperwork and was told 3-4 days we would get ashes. Got them the next day. If you want a place that is willing to make things easy on you and not rip you off give them a call. read more

I am a hospice nurse. As you might imagine, I deal with lots of funeral services. Leaf has, in the past, been a very reliable and cost effective service. Today however, has been a different story. Leaf was 1st contacted today at 545pm. All information was given and a request was made by me for the pick up team to call me with an eta. I have other patients waiting and need to give them accurate information about my arrival. At 615pm, not having heard from them, i called back, again requesting an eta. This time, the answering service conferenced in Justin, a direct employee of Leaf. I was told that his team had been dispatched and they should call me shortly with an eta. At 645pm, still not having heard from, I again called back, got Justin on the line, and was told "I just talked to my driver, they'll be there in about 15 mins." Dandy. At 655pm, i got a call from a lady identifying herself as the Leaf driver, and she stated an eta of 734pm. Folks, I dont mind waiting with the deceased for a funeral service to arrive. What I do mind is passing on crap information to a bereaved family and other patients waiting for me to arrive because someone else can't tell the truth or follow up on a simple request. There are lots of places that provide a low cost cremation. Pick one that tells the truth. read more

This was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life. It was horrible and unjustified. It would take too long to explain in detail all of the frustration experienced at Leaf. I used them to cremate my husband and thought I would have the same experience with my son, but did not. My advice to anyone would be to choose another crematorium for your loved one. read more

They have zero customer service and Bryan is the worst of them all their along with Kenny the funeral director. They are prying on people's sadness. They are con artists. I recently was suddenly challenged with having to make arrangements with the unexpected loss of my mother-in-law. I really hadn't done any research regarding a funeral, so I went online and came upon Georgia Cremation Centers. I saw that their prices were right in line with my small budget. I read some of the reviews left by previous customers and was surprised to read a complaint only about "finger printing" not meeting someone's standards. Finger printing? This was a funeral home. Their expertise was funerals, not "finger printing". My wife was looking for an inexpensive cremation, and their price of under $700 for everything was truly a blessing for us. I dealt with Bryan from start to finish, he handled the whole process very, very professionally and I would highly recommend his funeral home to anyone faced with the loss of a loved one. read more

They are a horrible company. The customer service does not exist. I wrote a bad review on their website and Facebook and they took it down and said hat I had no right to write a review. My brother died and I was the one that handled everything. They denied everytime I complained to them. They even went so far to write me an email that I wish I could share about how I should be ashamed of myself and I was disrespectful and that I was the reason that my brothers cremation was messed up on their end. Every place we went to said the fingerprints were not usable they did such a horrible job. The gentleman that we spoke to through the whole process always ended the conversation with have a great day, after we lost my 36 year old brother. I told him he was being insensitive and I wish he would change his lingo with us and he refused and he said he would separate the ashes for us to make necklaces for my mother and his wife and he didn't. He then said he didn't have time to. So my husband and I had to go through his ashes to separate them ourselves. It was a horrific experience! Please if you love your loved ones or yourself for that matter please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are horrible people and if you do not agree with them they harass you on the phone and through email "until you take your review down". I refuse to let other people go through what I went through that's why I keep trying to find a way to let people know. read more
