Anyway, I called 3 of the vets in Bartow County and their prices were between $300 and $400! So I decided to check Calhoun and found All Animal Veterinary Hospital and I could not believe what she said! I kept verifying the price and that she is in heat, and might weigh more than 25 pounds, and that it includes shots! She said the price is $104.00!!! We have an appointment on Wednesday. Check this one out before you go to the vet again. It's across from Walmart at the traffic light. Update: Sugar Baby came thru the surgery and recovered with flying colors! We took her back to have the stitches removed and again we were so pleased with the professional and courteous attitude of this business! I have referred several people and will continue to do so! As we made an appointment at 2:00 and was not seen until 4:15 by the RUDE Dr. AsHLEy which the staff is nothing compare to him! but when I asked the staff to ask the Dr. if there could be some type on discount for having to wait for so long (Inconvenience) my daughter was told to leave (made her cry). He could have said no sorry, but I do apologize for the wait or offer at least a 10% discount, and I would have been happy with that. This is bad business in MY personal opinion making customers happy and having referrals and wanting people to return would be a business owners' goal, but I guess he does not care. Please keep an eye on your fur babies and if they start coughing or have diarrhea, take them to the vet to get them checked! I picked up my 3 dogs yesterday and 2 of them have KENNEL COUGH!!! To say I'm upset is an understatement. I was in contact with the lady that runs the facility. She told me yesterday morning that my dog, Togo had a one short 2 cough spell but that it wasn't hindering him. I became concerned at that point. I know I am not a vet BUT I am a groomer and I have worked at a vets office before, so I do know some things. I picked the dogs up and the coughing got worse! Well to top things off my dog, Spirit started coughing. The owner wanted me to keep her informed, so I did let her know that Spirit started coughing. Then to top that off, I had to groom ALL 3 of my dogs when I got home. Now I know they are going to stink or be dirty when staying at a boarding facility BUT when my dog, Monty had dried dog poop all over his belly, that is unacceptable! They were absolutely filthy and smelled so bad! When this was mentioned to the owner (I have the messages,) all she had to say was, I'm sure that is from when Spirit had loose stool in the run. Um.....did you not clean the run? And why would not rinse off my dog? I'm not asking for a full blown bath but you could at least rinse him off! I also would like for y'all to know that even though I was notified about the one short 2 cough spell, when I picked up, my dogs where still in the same run. They had not be quarantined from other dogs in the same area as they were. I sure hope those who had dogs staying there were notified that their dogs had been exposed to not one but two dogs with kennel cough, as this is HIGHLY contagious. I even said that to the owner. I have all the messages. I want to also say that she seems to be so nonchalant about it. She has not even offered to pay for the vet bill and still charged me for boarding. Well with the timeline the way that is of when the coughing started, one of two things happened: 1. There was already a dog there with kennel cough and they failed to quarantine, notify incoming boarders and failed to properly clean/sanitize. 2. There HAD been a dog there with kennel cough and they failed to properly clean/sanitize. Either way my dogs are now very sick and refuse to eat and drink water and they did catch this virus at the boarding facility! Please DO NOT EVER USE THIS BOARDING FACILITY. I will be making sure to ask any future boarding facilities for their general cleaning procedures, to make sure this doesn't happen in the future. **Anyone is more than welcome to contact me and I am more than happy to send videos, pictures, etc.**

I feel that the communication I received before returning the kitten did not match what happened afterward, and I am still disputing the additional deductions that were taken from my refund. The reason I returned the kitten in the first place was because he was extremely unsocialized. He spent his time hiding, hissing, screaming, and showing extreme fear. I understand that kittens need an adjustment period, and I gave him time and patience, but his behavior was far beyond what I expected from a well socialized kitten. As a mother with a young child, I ultimately felt it was best for him to return to the breeder's environment. After this experience, I started reading more reviews from other buyers and was shocked to find multiple reviews describing the exact same issues with unsocialized kittens. One reviewer even stated they had to sell or rehome their kitten because it never adjusted to living in their home. Seeing similar stories from other customers made me feel that my experience may not have been an isolated one. I spent thousands of dollars expecting a healthy, well socialized companion and instead experienced stress, disappointment, and confusion over the refund process. I encourage anyone considering purchasing from this breeder to carefully read the contract, get every refund promise in writing, and thoroughly review all customer feedback before making such a significant financial commitment

The farm is…read moreexpansive and takes in all kinds of horses, although they focus on the Percheron, a breed of draft horse that were originally bred for warhorses. It is nothing short of amazing to stand next to one of these beautiful horses. When you visit the farm, by appointment only, you will see many before and after pictures of abused horses. The owners will give you a tour of the farm and introduce you to their farm family which includes at least 3 cats, a peacock and Yellow dog they will tell you amazing stories of rescues and abuse. In addition, if you love horses, you can donate your time to the farm, and of course, they accept any monetary donations that are tax free to you!
