I have been going here for massages for several years, every month. Where can you go and get a massage ANYWHERE for $40? The staff are terrific, every massage I've had has been very very good. Great place to get a massage. They have students massage and supervisors check in on them to see how they are doing. They have spaces that are separated by privacy curtains. The draw back is you can hear someone if they are talking. The prices are reasonable at $40 for 60 min. You can request male or female masseuse. They only do massages on Friday. So if you are not off Friday mid day, you may want to try a different t school. They don't use oil. They use lotion which is nice and smooth and doesn't leave you feeling greasy. I prefer oil but the lotion is a small sacrifice considering the price and you are helping the students improve their skills. My previous student did a great job with my massage, however she graduated and has not started her own practice yet. I will update this post later with some pictures. I typically go every week or every other week. You can do all of the paperwork and pay online. You will need to provide your proof of vaccination. You will also have to wear an KN95 or N95 mask when you enter the premises. They also require you to wash or sanitize your hands once you arrive. Great job and very nice place to try. read more

We didnt expect the service to be great given that these are students, but we also didnt expect it to be beyond bad. Total waste of time and money. Just chalked it up to a donation and we'll never go back. They lightly brush the skin, then squeeze, and repeat. Clearly they dont know the mere definition of massage bc they never performed the mechanics of one. Non-professionals can give better massages than these ladies did. And they didnt even add pressure when asked bc they were terrified. Poor thing but perhaps the students should practice on each other & trainers as part of the curriculum, get rated, and once they achieve at least a score of 5 they can practice on paying customers to increase their skill level to hopefully a 9 at least. Our experience was HORRIBLE. Im sure how ppl have rated this place so high but maybe they feel sorry for the students. No way this many ppl leave there super satisfied. Honestly, we wouldnt go back if they offered free sessions. It was that bad. The one star is because the students and women at the desk were so nice but service deserved zero stars. read more

I'm supremely grateful for the education, support and love I got from GMS. I knew this was the school for me because I hate driving and drove over an hour to and from each day just to be around these teachers and students. If you want to master anatomy and super cool techniques then Laurie, Carrie, Lujene and Rick (sadly no longer there) are your people. They all make learning fun and never boring! Update - I practice in California and just recently went back to Georgia for work. I received a massage from one of my classmates. Just a few months after graduation and it was amazing. It's unfortunate that this place great reviews but crappy schedules. I called a month in advance and got an appointment. And I show up 30 mins before so I can fill out paper work and they said I'm not on the schedule. They did absolutely nothing to accommodate me but to just reschedule me wherever they had availability in the later weeks. Keep in mind they don't do massages everyday either. How is it my fault that I didn't receive a call on Wednesday to confirm my appointment when you all wrote my number incorrectly. And tried to blame on possibly my voicemail being full- when it is not full. I get voicemails thank you very much. PLUS I called yesterday the day before my appointment and no one said anything to me about my appointment today. Thanks for wasting my time. read more

I graduated in early 2014 and since that first year to this year entering my fourth year working as a massage therapist, i have been fully booked thanks to Rick and Laurie who have well equipped me with strong clinical, practical and ethical foundational knowledge of massage therapy. As soon as you read the curriculum and speak with them, you will know how intelligent, compassionate and professional they are. This school maybe small and less flashy, but if you really want to learn from the best in the field and you like to spend smartly and finish strong by easily passing the license exams, i would say this is the school you want to enroll. read more
