I got a gift of an hour signature facial for my mother-in-law and they only did 35 minutes for the service. Apparently, they counted the time she filled out the paperwork as 10 minutes and then she said she shorted her ten minutes because of sensitive skin, but that's not what I paid for. Being that this was our first visit and we were looking for a good spa. They could have won repeat business, but the esthetician acted like she didn't care. Yolanda, the receptionist was the only redeeming factor. At least she was kind and apologetic, but I was sorely disappointed for my mother-in-law. Won't be going back there. read more

I had the most amazing massage with Persia yesterday. It was probably the BEST massage I've ever had. I have lots of issues with my neck and shoulder and Persia had a deep tissue magic touch! I was so looking forward to a relaxing visit for a facial. My original booking time was tomorrow but they called and asked if I could come a day early, which was fine. I received a text saying they are in a temporary spot across the street from their former location. It was also a house with easy parking. I arrived 10 minutes early and upon entering I was greeted and asked to fill out a questionnaire. I finished and was told my aesthetician would be right down. I waited, and it was then 7 minutes past my appointment time so I asked if she was with another client and she said no and then took me upstairs to the treatment room. The aesthetician was friendly, once the treatment started, I asked if she had a headband to keep my hair back, a normal thing that you would get. She said she didn't know where they were and took about 5 min to find one. Come to find out, their location across the street had a fire so they were shut down for two weeks then moved to this temporary location and most of her things were still in storage bins. The treatment continues with a face wash and then she immediately applies the oxygen treatment, which was odd to me but whatever, I got steamed, then a mask and sunscreen and it was done about 35 minutes after starting but I had paid for an hour for $135. I felt cheated that I didn't get the time and attention I was hoping AND paying for. I feel like if they weren't prepared to take clients yet, then they shouldn't have asked to move my appointment to a day earlier. The treatment here is five star quality, start to finish. I used a website special that combined the foot Detox treatment with the body wrap. The foot treatment starts off in a living room area. The ladies provide you with magazines, cold water, and a big screen tv. I chose to sit in silence for the foot detox. There is a chart that is provided which explains why the water turns specific colors. My second treatment was the body wrap. The wraps are soaked in a gentle liquid that does not require rinsing. I was on a bit of a time constraint so I skipped the measurements portion, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the treatment. I sat up and leaned back slightly in he infrared sauna. Unlike a traditional sauna you won't feel and intense heat to make you sweat initially. I was so comfortable that I simply fell asleep and woke up completely sweated out. When the wrap was removed I was completely relaxed and I could feel a tightness in my skin. Hours later I could feel the tightness still. This was a great way to celebrate my birthday, it was very relaxing and the ladies truly cater to your needs. The space is very clean and the staff is super friendly. I've been coming to Warrior for over a year since they were at the old Tucker location. This new Brockett Rd location is similar to the other one which is an older ranch house converted into a spa. This one feels a lot more cozy. There's ample parking in the back. When you enter you'll see Liz at the check in desk. She's always very pleasant and welcoming. If you're getting a massage you get to pick 2 scents for aromatherapy. Sometimes you also get to pick a special scented oil for your massage. Once checked in they offer water or hot tea and there's also small cookies or bite-sized candy in the waiting area. The place is pretty quiet aside from the older doors or hardwood floors creaking a bit. Rena was my original therapist and she is great. She goes deep if you want her to and really worked out my knots twice a month. I started off with a Gold membership which is a steal for the price and getting two massages a month. Rena is very technical and always told me about stretches to do at home and ways to minimize muscle tension. Lately I've been getting massages by Leon. Whew he's good! I always try to get 90 minutes with him because in addition to focusing on my trouble areas he does some stretching for me as well. His pressure is great and I love his technique. I hope this doesn't make Leon so popular that I can't get a massage with him in the future. I highly recommend Warrior for a massage. read more

Such a great experience! I normally go to a place in Sandy Springs because it's much closer but my friend told me such great things about this place so I had to check it out. I found a group on for a 30 min infrared sauna session and a 60 min massage. The sauna has different settings and music you can set it too i.e. pain relief, detoxification, weight loss, etc. Before the massage began she asked if I wanted to add hot stones and man am I glad I did! It was $15 extra but it was worth it. My massage therapist was Aaliyah. She makes sure you know everything that's about to happen whether or not you've had a massage before. You will not regret a visit to Warrior Body Spa! I had a 90-minute massage and a 30-minute facial and it was perfect. This was the first time I have ever done a 90-minute massage and at first, I was worried if it would feel too long. This was so far from the truth! Leon, my massage therapist, was fantastic. We spoke a little first to talk about my pain and he worked on those areas in addition to the full body massage. 24 hours later and I still feel good. In addition the massage, we also did some stretches that felt phenomenal. After the massage, I had a facial with Aaliya. When we first started, she asked if I wanted to be talked through the facial or if I wanted to relax in silent and I really appreciated that! I opted to listen to all the steps and my face felt completely renewed afterwards. I've always been a little lazy with taking care of my face but I was ready to buy all those products! Absolutely wonderful 90 minute massage with Leon who gave me his all and loosened my crazy tight shoulders immensely. Leon is strong and his pressure was perfect. This spa is convenient to my home in the heart of Tucker. Unassuming "house" style building outside but beautiful and zen inside. Appreciated the hot towels, the heated bed, the quiet room with relaxing aromatherapy and especially Leon's attention to the particular areas of my body that were hurting the most. I get annoyed at any appointment where you're asked to fill out a long questionnaire listing all your issues and then the doctor or chiro or masseur walks in and asks you whats up..... and it's obvious your "intake form" hadn't been read at all . Leon is a therapist who Actually DID read my chart and was well informed of my pain and my preferences as he walked me to our massage room. I really appreciated that my forms had been read and listened to as this is a rare experience for me. Appointment scheduling was easy - front desk super welcoming and appreciative to have me there. A hidden gem! Literally. People have probably passed it several times and didn't know it was there but I suggest they try it. It's small but very comfortable, cozy (almost home-like) and always clean. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Liz at the front desk is such a sweetheart, Aaliyah is always smiling and my massage therapist Rena is amazing. She's very knowledgeable about the body and focuses on muscles that other therapists would probably ignore like the muscles in your forearm that affect hand movement and carpal tunnel. Today I didn't just have a massage, I had massage THERAPY! It was, hands down, the best massage therapy session I've ever experienced. Rena was my therapist, and I can't possibly more highly recommend her to anyone. The continuous pressure applied throughout was perfect and well placed. At one point I wondered to myself if she didn't have 3 extra arms working on me! She listened to my concerns and focused thoroughly on the areas I needed most. Not only the areas I thought I needed worked on, she found areas on me I didn't even know hurt until she made it stop hurting! She spent extra time with me afterwards to show me stretches I need to be doing as well. The spa itself is so pleasant to be in as well. It is in a home, and it feels like you're just that; home! The decor, the scents, the pleasant atmosphere only makes the whole experience that much more wonderful. I noticed as I left today that they have a 99$ a month deal for 2 hours of sessions which I believe I will need to sign up for. This place is just so much more relazing and inviting than any chain place I've ever been in. Speaking on which, I always hate when you get a massage or any type of relaxation service and then they end it with a high pressure sales pitch. You just spent an hour or more relaxing me, why ruin it with HIGH PRESSURE sales!?! They didn't do anything of the sort here - Thanks so much for that as well! There's a reason Warrior Spa consistently gets 5 stars - they are fantastic! I love the small house where they are located - it feels homey - and the little touches like water, hot tea and cookies in the waiting room. Everyone I've spoken with there has always been friendly and upbeat. Leon spent time talking to me about a back problem I was having and let me know what his approach was going to be. He has a firm touch, but checks often to make sure it's not TOO firm. I highly recommend letting him go a little "deeper" because afterwards you'll feel incredible. If you are a fan of the big chain massage spas, this isn't your place. The approach to massages is more holistic. It's not the massages aren't relaxing, they are, but they also try to offer a more complete, healthy experience. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I haven't had a massage in over two years, partly due to time and finance constraints, but mostly because none of them were worth the money. I've had therapists who chit chat the entire time, or they don't read my forms and consequently, ask me what issues I have, even though I just got done writing them. Or I specifically ask for deep tissue and it feels like swedish the whole time. I decided to try one more time at Warrior Body Spa due to the remarkable reviews, but I was skeptical, even then. Walking in, I was immediate greeted by Liz who was so warm, sweet and welcoming, it made me hopeful that the rest of the visit would go well. Rena was my therapist and she obviously read my intake and knew exactly what should and shouldn't be done according to that information. She immediately noticed the way I sit which can cause some of the problems I have to worsen. Then the massage itself...dear God, it was unbelievable how good it was. She only spoke when necessary to inform me of what and why she was doing something. I have such a bad back that I forgot I can't lie on my stomach that long. She immediately grabbed a prenatal pillow and was able to do the massage having me lie on my side. She noted this for the next time I come in. I haven't felt this good after a massage, EVER! I was so impressed, I decided to pay for the Gold Club membership and continue this (at least) once a month. It pays for itself literally on the first visit. And for me to commit to a monthly recurrence of anything is pretty rare. This is just a little house on the outside, but oh so charming and serene on the inside.
