So I was referred to this spot buying someone at work so I gave it a shot. Is it a shopping mall strip parking lot and it's free parking. There's a few other places here but this is the only spot like that in the shopping area. You come in and you're greeted at the door for check-in. It's really simple and easy, and they started on time. I had a 5:00 reservation, by 5:00. I was walking back. They have a number of specials there that you can pick from them on the list and all of the prices are very very reasonable. You'll come in in there. It's very soft music playing in the background. Even though typically I would have my earbuds in. But the environment is very nice and peaceful regardless. I got a foot and a full body massage. Again, all of them started on time, and we're very thorough. For the foot massage. You'll sit in the chair for a half hour and they'll use hot towels and oils and everything along those lines to get you together. Then they'll give you slippers to go elsewhere if you have something else that you're doing. It was a great massage. Next up walking to the massage table room, it worked out really well. You'll go and disrobe and they'll get you together with hot oils and stones and things like that to make sure it's a good experience. I also appreciate it the inquiry to whether it was something else that could have been done, for example, making sure that you had two little or more pressure if it was needed. They also had hot towels and a hot stone rub as well which was really good. And the end you get tea or water and you pay with the ticket that was given, and you're out the door. This is my 3rd time getting a massage here. Each time has been a last minute booking for a 60min couple's massage and 30min foot massage. Via phone they are always accommodating and eager to get you booked in the timeframe needed. Upon entry the front desk staff is always hospitable and warm. The foot massage area is very dark, but it's a nice way to unplug and enjoy the service. The massage rooms are tidy and clean. They are not fancy, but they cover the basics and as a frequent luxury hotel spa user, this gets the job done and is a great option that's affordable and close to home. My therapist was so sweet and though there was a slight language barrier, she did her best to communicate with me with a charming smile and tons of laughter! :) At the end they don't rush you to exit the room and they offer you water and tea post services. Though I don't go to massage places often, I found the massage here refreshing. It was a really Asian massage if I could describe it in one sentence. This place definitely had the staff on hand to accommodate 7 girls at the last minute during Labor Day weekend. The 5 of us ended up getting the half foot massage and half body service while the other 2 went for the full body massage. The full body massage was great. I'd have to be honest and say the guy massaging me was really digging into my back and going at the knots, and it hurt at certain spots. But the end result was great as it felt good. Lots of lotion were used and hot stones near the end too. You have to get undressed to your undies, but it felt normal being partially naked for this older Asian guy after a bit. David was professional and wasn't chatty (yay for the relaxation). It was my first time getting a massage from a guy, and it was not a bad experience. He wasn't too strong handed to the point that I felt like I was dying from pain. I don't like deep tissue massages so I feared this. He even asked if I wanted water or tea afterwards and had the tea ready when I came out. Parking was aplenty as Harmony was in the middle of a large complex. Would I come again? Yes! 60 mins for $60 seems on par with other locations. And plus, one the girls in the group says her husband frequents this place often so it sounds like a solid choice. read more

Harmony massage is my go to for massages. I'm usually able to call the same day and get an appointment. The staff is nice and helpful. I have always booked 60min full body massages and I haven't been disappointed. They have private rooms with either one table or two (for couples massage). The rooms are dimly lit with nice, relaxing music playing. Prior to starting the massage, the massage therapist asks if there are any areas they should focus more on and the amount of pressure you would like. They also check on you throughout the massage to make sure the pressure is good. After the massage they offer tea and water before you leave. One day I will try a foot massage. read more

Covid compliant, they check your temp, and have you complete a survey asking if you have any symptoms, etc. extremely clean. Very serene setting with low lights. Very comfortable massage chairs. The foot massage was wonderful and very relaxing!! They wash your feet off before they begin which was nice. They use hot stones as well. I come here often, maybe too often, for the 1-hour foot massage (foot reflexology) for 45 dollars. Note that currently, Georgia does NOT require state certification or licensure of reflexologists. "The practice of Reflexology is exempt in the State of Georgia via the Georgia Massage Therapy and Bodywork Therapy Practice Act (HB915). O.C.G.A. § 43-24A-19. Exceptions (5) A person who restricts his or her practice to the manipulation of the soft tissue of the human body to hands, feet, or ears who does not have the client disrobe and does not hold himself or herself out as a massage therapist." So if you really like your foot reflexologist, they will NOT be able to also do a body massage (where you are on a table, unclothed, etc). Services that require a license are more expensive-- hence, I stick to the foot massage at this place. My foot massages have mostly been good-- there was one person that pressed super hard and left bruises on my arms where his thumbs pressed in too hard and the entire experience was painful. That was one time where I was spending the whole time thinking about how to leave. I stuck it out, but to date, I look for him and would avoid at all costs. IMO, because there isn't a training, the quality and experience varies widely, which is true at all the foot reflexology places around. What I like about this place is that they always accommodate. it's very clean and accessible RE parking, and they have long hours. However, there is no real customer service, they don't really care if you enjoyed your experience, and they just want your money. Everyone hovers over you as you pay and watches what you include as the tip which is awkward, but I don't cave in to the pressure and tip what I feel is appropriate. After you pay, they completely dismiss you regardless of how much you leave for a tip or how much you spend, so don't let them intimidate you into spending more than you want/they deserve. The tip choices populated on the receipt are over 20% and look very strange, so I always indicate "custom tip" and enter the tip manually. For example, it says 20% tip on 45 is 9 dollars. read more

Im not sure how long Harmony Massage and Spa has been in business but it had some of the most consistent positive reviews on yelp and google. I've been putting off getting a foot massage for a week and after walking all over NOLA I couldn't wait any longer. Based on reviews I knew they accepted walk ins were also busy so I didn't want to risk having a long wait on Saturday so I made a same day appointment. The gentlemen I spoke to was very pleasant and I believe the owner, he was able to get me in same day. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and felt like I walked into an international spa, it was very serene although it was busy. Before my treatment I used the restroom and was very surprised, it was super clean and very modern. It put me at immediate ease that I was in good care, that and talking to a long time customer that only had good things to say and highly recommended their full body massages. While walking down the hallway from the restroom I glanced into some of the other rooms and everything appeared very cleaned and organized. When I sat down the front desk person spoke in a foreign language to an employee and pointed at me, based on body language there appeared to be a disagreement and some confusion. I stood up and they kept speaking in their language and then the front desk lady walked me in the room, it was very awkward. Im guessing the guy was going on break or was going to do something else and he was made to complete my foot massage. Maybe he usually only does body massages, Im not sure but it just felt weird. So because of this I didn't get my beverage when I first sat in the massage chair. You get to pick from green tea or water, the green tea is very good but after a massage you definitely need some water. Despite the confusion, the masseuse did an outstanding job on my feet, neck and shoulders. I didn't feel rushed but still felt like he didn't want to be there. He was able to massage all of the knots in my feet and some in my neck in the 50 minutes, I was impressed. It was the most thorough $30 foot massage I ever received. I definitely understand the high ratings. If you just get the foot massage you're in a shared room with other guests, there are about 6 chairs on the left and right side of the room and it's dimmed lights, the room is right off the lobby so it can be noisy at times. It's also noisy when people legs are pounded so if you're sensitive to sound like me, I would recommend a noise canceling headset or have your earbuds in. Also don't forget cash for your tip, I know employees usually prefer that over leaving it on the card. I decided to give them another chance after a few years and they still have the same snake attitude. This girl put in a lot of negative energy towards the base of my neck. Harmony accommodated a group of four of us with only a 10 minute heads up. The prices are very reasonable for the services provided. The staff is clearly trained to perform the same services for each individual so it is not personalized. Which was fine with us. I did notice that my masseuse was pretty rough and twisted my back pretty intensely in some directions, but luckily, I was able to resist and did not procure an injury. One of our party had a back surgery a few years back and was uncomfortable with this twisting/cracking his back. Just a heads up for anyone with injury or chronic conditions. Overall the ambience was relaxing and the prices were reasonable - I would return and maybe communicate to my masseuse to be a little gentler. They were professional and clean. read more

Sadly, my 2nd experience here was lackluster. Overall it just felt like I was a piece of flesh that was to be processed. Timer on, massage, timer goes off, done and out. It wasn't that relaxing and they should really consider factoring in 5-10min at least for their workers to go in and out with basins and towels. I asked him three times to use more pressure. These people PRETEND THEY DONT SPEAK OR UNDERSTAND english but i know they DO. If you cant speak the language then how is it safe for them to work on people with problems. I tried to let them know i have arthritis in my feet but clearly THEY DO NOT CARE about clients. If you are looking to get a good foot or body massage without paying an arm & a leg like you would at other chained massage places then check out Harmony Massage. Some friends of mine recommended Harmony Massage a couple of years ago and we are hooked! They used to be in a small shopping strip off of Buford Highway. Now they opened up in a much bigger space. It's now located in a larger shopping plaza where you'll find a Big Lots in there. You can't miss it in the plaza. The lobby is much more spacious than the previous lobby. I like the water wall and main light fixture in the lobby. They have many more foot massage stations and plenty of body massage rooms in this location which means less time for wait and more people to get their food reflexology and body massage on. It's very clean and well maintained especially the bathroom which I appreciate. The staff has always been great every time we've come. They are quick to warmly greet you upon arrival and departure. I appreciate how the front staff and those doing the massages are friendly, polite, and hospitable. They also offer you water or hot tea. Remember to stay hydrated after your massage. Harmony Massage offers a variety of services- foot massage, body massage, and hydrotherapy. I've gotten a handful of food massages and body massages here. You can do a 30 min or 1 hour foot massage as well as a hour body massage. I believe you get one longer than an hour if you wanted. They have combos of doing half foot and half body massage as well. Another cool thing to note is when you get a couples massage you can be in the same room with one another! I thought that was the norm like in the movies but the last time I got a couples massage at Spa Sydell we only got to see each other partially through a confession like partition/box. Lol. It was something else. I don't think I would ever get a couple massage at Spa Sydell again. What was the point if you can't actually be in the same room together? I felt it completely defeated the purpose of it. Anyways, back to Harmony Massage. I came in last week and had a good body massage with Sabrina. Very relaxing and just the right amount of pressure. She would check in often to make sure the pressure level was right. If the pressure amount is not right for you please let them know so they can adjust accordingly. Really appreciated that the body massage included even a little hot stone massage towards the end. Very good and detailed body massage. I would highly recommend Harmony Massage if you're looking for a very reasonable price for an hour of relaxation. It's the perfect remedy after a hard day's work. This place has a large clientele base so don't miss out. At the other location we used to call in to secure a time. I just finished with my third visit here, and I will be sure to be back. The first visit was to try out floatation therapy. Although I didn't find it very therapeutic, many people tout its benefits. The second and third visit were for a 1 hour full body massage. I thoroughly enjoy their massages. Some reviewers don't because they spend most of the time on shoulders and back. Since this is where my problem areas are, I don't mind at all. I've had a very bad shoulder problem for over a year, and their massage helped me tremendously. Close to the end of the massage, they use hot stones on your back which is soothing. They then use hot towels to wipe off the oil but it also relaxes you as well. At the end, they usually offer a cup of hot tea which I always take them up on. Service is friendly and the owner and her husband are especially nice. I look forward to my next visit. read more

We've been to this location numerous times, and received consistent excellent service. However, we have not been able to receive service due to various excuses provided by the establishment. We've contacted the business on three separate occasions and were turned down all three times because they do not take walk-ins nor appointments. This makes no sense whatsoever.
