We were told upon check in that our room would be cleaned on the third day. It wasn't. On the third morning we took the do not disturb sign off the doorknob at 08:30 AM. We left the room at 09:00AM. Housekeeping was right outside our door. Upon returning to our room that evening nothing had been done. We were out of clean towels and all the trash from previous nights takeaway food was still in room. This is exactly how you get roaches in a room. Went to call front desk. The room phone did not even work as it's cord kept falling out. I Schlepped down to the front desk. Desk clerk can't do anything for us because he is the only one there. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked. That's about the only positives. I always thought Holiday Inn Express hotels were overpriced and have tried to avoid them whenever possible. They claim the higher price comes with a higher standard of service. This experience has done nothing to change my mind. That's for sure.

There was no shade that would lower as I was told by the front desk, it just was not there at all. The Pool light was right downstairs and on all night and coming right in my room. Why would you do that to someone? I worked the morning before arriving, drove 6 hrs, and then drove another 8 hours the day after I couldn't sleep in your well lite room. Really Why would you do that to someone.

    We stayed here for the first time last week on our way to Florida and we had freezing cold shower…read morewater. I called the front desk and was told that I needed to let it run for 15 minutes. I informed them my spouse had already taken a shower and the water was still freezing. They offered me the equivalent of $15 in HH Honors points. So my kids and I had to take cold showers hoping the water would eventually warm up, and it never did. I was not satisfied with $15 worth of HHHonors points and it also STILL has not shown up on my account. In fact, it somehow shows I earned 0 points for my entire stay, which is garbage. We had already booked the hotel for the return trip for this week as well, and I couldn't cancel it so I called the front desk on Tuesday to discuss the issue I had with the cold water further, and the lady I spoke with acted like the people who work on the weekends don't know what they're doing, and proceeded to tell me that one side of the hotel just always has issues with hot water. I'm sorry, but what?!? Like it's just okay for a Hilton owned hotel to have no warm water? The nonchalantness of the staff about this issue is concerning at best. I was assured that I would be put in a first floor room on the side of the hotel that "doesn't have issues with hot water" because I have little children, and was told the room was booked. I call on Friday to double check we are good to go and they had not, in fact booked the room for me at all but just wrote "notes in their book". So I said as long as I could be on the 2nd floor (no more rooms on the first floor were available) on the side that had hot water, then that was fine (even though it's completely irritating that they told me I was good to go for the first floor room and that it had been booked and wasn't). I honestly can't believe I now have to admit this has since gotten worse. My spouse went and asked for a luggage cart and the lady said "oh we've got one somewhere on the 2nd floor. I'll go get it". She NEVER goes to get it and we end up having to split up with our exhausted toddlers to grab multiple bags to bring upstairs on our own without a cart. Our toddlers were losing their minds because they were tired and now having to be split up so we could manage to get our bags from the car. They are 3.5 and 1 years old. This has by far been the WORST hotel experience I have ever had, and that includes motels in the past that have had better staff and service. I will never come back here (we travel to Florida frequently) and in fact, I'm thinking of just not ever booking another Hilton hotel ever again, and I travel globally for work. Whoever manages this particular Hilton hotel should be ashamed that they allow their staff to operate this way and allow their hotel to just never have consistent hot water available. It's mind blowing honestly, and this was the biggest waste of money I've spent all year.
