I have to give props to this practice. I've been here several times in the last few months with various problem teeth. Every single staff from check in to check out is so kind. I had to get a molar tooth pulled and Dr Yassin was excellent. She's really good at what she does. I've still had some residual pain in that area deep in the gums, so when I came back to have work done on another tooth, Dr Cheema actually looked at my x-ray (from where the molar tooth was pulled) and she took the time to explain that based on where that tooth and infection were, it was likely that my nerve was what was still giving me the pain. This was what I suspected but her validation was what I needed. Dr Cheema is also excellent and she is very patient, always taking time to make sure I've had my questions answered and that I'm good. In general, it's actually fun to sit and chat with the dentists/assistants while they work on my teeth so I don't mind anytime I have to go back. Took my granddaughter in 2 weeks in a row. First time was extractions and the second time was a cleaning. The staff is always so accommodating and friendly! My granddaughter was a little nervous but they were so kind and gentle with her. I am so glad that we are their patients! read more

I had Dr. Dunford when he was in Dawsonville. When he started his new practice in Gainesville, I traveled all the way there, (70miles RT)) because I was told he accepted Delta Dental on my medicare plan. When I got there, he said he would only do an exam and x-rays but would not clean my teeth which was covered by my plan. They lied and told me the opposite before I went! And lastly, the 5 tooth upper front bridge he did 5 years ago broke off 4 weeks ago. That was $5,000 down the drain! Now I'm seeing Dr. Michael Witcher, DDS MAGD at Lanier Dental Group in Gainesvile! I'm 73 and have been to dozens of different dentists in my life. Dr. Witcher is by far the best! MAGD means master of dentistry. Only 1% of all dentists have that designation! And lastly, his wife and daughter are also dentists. Everyone at Lanier Dental Group are very friendly and professional! Their prices are very reasonable! Need I say more! read more

I did careful research of dental plans and chose one that said Dr. Workman accepted the 500 Series Careington Plan available from dentalplans.com. This plan clearly states that the dentist accepts all fees. I called and confirmed they accept the 500 Series Plan before making an appointment. After Dr. Workman examined me and found I needed some crowns I was given a treatment plan fee sheet that showed the cost of the crowns to be $875.20 each rather than the $483 stated with the 500 Series Plan. When I called the office to discuss this discrepancy I was told that they make an exception to this even though the Plan states that they cannot do this. Although Dr. Workman was OK, the office clearly used a bait and switch tactic to get me into the office. I will not do business with a business that is this unethical. read more

First time here this week and it was welcoming. The hygienist was nice and knowledgable. Although I didn't see the dentist, I felt comfortable having the hygienist observe my teeth. The whole staff is so friendly. Looking forward to my next visit. read more

Staff was quite good and nice as usual. I have been with this group for going on four years now and have always been pleased with their professionalism and attention to detail. The hygienist was very good at explaining what she was doing. While the 3 month peridontal cleaning might seem expensive and excessive at first glance, it has done even better than Dr Dunsford and the hygienist recommended. I called twice and left messages with contact information, as I needed to schedule appointments for new patients - we are new in town. That was this morning. Until now I have not received any call back even to tell me they cannot accept new patients. That is all I needed to change my mind about this practice. read more
