First time her....last time here. Nice looking building, pretty lobby. That's it. Made an appointment approximately 2 weeks ago for 7/7/26, Tuesday at 7:50 am. Arrived at 7:45 am. Gentleman and daughter were waiting, then there was me, then another lady came in. No one was at reception desk. When lady came out around 7:57 a.m. to finally sign into compute, another lady walked in and right up to receptionist and they started talking, even though all of us had been there since probably at least 7:40 (me 7:45). Please note that when she was signing in to her compute, she never said good morning to anyone or even look up to acknowledge we were there and had been there waiting. That would have made a difference. I had already filled out my paperwork online. I told her I was not going to fill it out again since I thought that was the purpose of doing it that way. She asked did I print it out. I said, no, there was nothing that said to print it out and no one from your office said to do so. She said, we don't tell people to print it out. I said, you probably should do so. After she handed me my driver's license, she once again asked was I going to fill the paperwork out, I said no because I had another appointment to go to after this and didn't have time. I told her I did not want to reschedule and asked for the copy of my driver's license. She said, I'll just shred it then. I said, that's fine, and I'll be sure to leave a review. I called to make an appointment for a dental cleaning and make sure Georgia smiles was in network with my insurance. The answer that I got from Georgia Smiles was that they were in network and that the only thing I have to pay was a deductible of $50 that applies to the cleaning service. I agreed and made the appointment. At the time of my appointment I paid the $ 50 deductible, nobody asked me to agree to any other charges. To my surprise I got a bill for an additional $376.74. We made a three way call with my insurance and Gordana, the office manager, and we found out the person who called the insurance company understood wrong, as I was not fully covered. If the clerk of Georgia Smiles did not make this mistake and informed me this, I would have gone elsewhere, but they made a mistake and then threatened to send me to collection for their mistake, risking my credit. The insurance agent informed Gordana of Georgia Smiles that they could file an appeal to the insurance company for this issue. After days of continual follow-up, Gordana refused to send me a receipt of what I signed the day I came in, any updates and refused to file an appeal, only to send me to collection. I have the whole email chain and will include pictures. I had the choice of ruining my credit, or paying an additional $376 dollars. Beware of Gordana and Georgia smiles!! read more

Type of care is below average, took them 3 weeks and a call from me to get an estimate for my visit. Which was much more expensive than other dentists. To top it off, I called to get copies of my X-rays which I had paid for on my visit, they were asking me to pay $45 for the X-ray copies which are already paid. I have had never to pay any medical clinics for copies of my records or X-rays. I'll never visit or recommend this place to anyone. read more

I absolutely love Dr. Tahir! She is the sweetest person. She is so calm & patient with all 3 of my children as well as with me. It's always so hard to find a good dentist that is not only skilled but also cares about the comfort of their patients. She is both. The office staff is also very nice. They make sure to remind you about appointments because most days I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached to me. My teens actually like coming here and when my son said he flossed which I know is a lie) and Dr. T called him out on his lie in the most direct yet nicest way possible I almost stood up and applauded. read more

I would not recommend this dentist office to anyone I know. First off, the front staff is not pleasant at all. I made an appointment and because of my job had to cancel it; I gave them 24 hours notice. They still charged me $65 dollars even after I explained I work in emergency service and get called in on short notice. 24 hours should be enough time to cancel an appointment. I made my appointment less than a week ago and confirmed by text. When I came in, they informed me that they canceled it because they didn't receive the confirmation. They never left me a voice-mail. I even showed them the confirmation, and they complained that I sent it after hours. I had to rearrange my entire schedule only for this clinic to WASTE my time. IT IS LONG BECAUSE I WANT TO GIVE ALL THE DETAILS IN FULL. I just left the dentist's office today. I have ALWAYS had a pleasant experience for the past few years. We have had plenty of conversations about me planting, ordering a water pik, the value of flossing--the usual stuff. Today, I was more quiet the usual. I had a lot of life issues on my mind. The tech who waited on my was friendly. I did as she asked but again, I wasn't too talkative back--maybe 1 word answers. I did ask her if the chin guard had been cleaned for the xray and I let her know that my teeth were in the groove for the xray. When the dentist came in, she asked me a series of questions. Again, I answered them all. Then she said I need to get a deep cleaning; I hadn't been in since last March and it was just a reminder. I told her ok. She told me THREE ADDITIONAL TIMES the I needed a deep cleaning and she stood over me with her hands crossed. I asked her if I had to get it today. She said I did not, but it was a reminder. She did not proceed to clean my teeth though. She stood over me as if waiting for me to respond again. I asked her what should I say? I asked her if I was missing anything? I was confused. She reminded me. I said okay, so I got it. She then yanked the green covering off of me after saying "we are not connecting" and told me she would send my xrays somewhere else. At this point, I lost it. I asked the receptionist what was going on, after I explained what happened. Then she took me in the office and said that the dentist and the tech said I was disrespectful and the tech said I told her how to do her job! (I literally told the tech that my teeth was in the groove, when she said it was not, I didn't argue--I just did what she said.) Then the dentist came in LYING and said I had an attitude and she is sending me somewhere else because I have an attitude every time and I am disrespectful. If anyone knows me, I am the weirdo who likes going to the doctor and dentist and I can walk to them next door. We talk and chit chat EVERY TIME I am in the office. I laughed with the staff last time because I kept coming on the wrong day/time.) Anyway, I asked the dentist is she dismissing me about something I did today or in the past? She said DON'T CHANGE THE SUBJECT! *BLANK STARE* She was the one who said I am rude, disrespectful and have an attitude in EVERY visit. When I ask her about it she says that I'm changing the subject. Then I asked her how was I disrespectful? She said she doesn't have to tell me how I was disrespectful...I know what I did! Wow! At this point, I am angry, I am crying, I am frustrated and I am trying to fit in all the doctor appointments I can before I leave my employer. At this point I am yelling and she is yelling. She said she was going to call the cops. I said the number is 911. Then I try to leave and she closes the door shut! It took everything I had in me NOT to touch her. I tell her that she wanted me to leave, let me open the door. She finally lets me leave. I am screaming and am ashamed of me allowing myself to get that upset but I have NEVER had this happen. I have gone to her for at least 3 years. For 10 consecutive years prior, I have gone to Dr. Bounds in Johns Creek and not 1 complaint. I do not think she would've treated a white patient this way. And I believe she is either BLATENTLY lying about me being disrespectful and having an attitude each time or she truly got me confused with another patient. We have literally talked about me being in the next subdivision and how clean the window is because it's so beautifully landscaped outside the window (pretty green grass) and she has scolded me--rightfully so about flossing and we always engaged about that and I told her I LOVED my water pik. That is NOT a conversation that a patient has when they have an attitude. I would not recommend this dentist to my mother if dentistry work would save her life! I would kiss my mom goodbye. Despite her having patients of color, I think it was discriminatory and her tech supported her all the way, although we did not have a single issue in our interaction. Her front staff have always been nice. I don't have a bad word to say about them. I think this dentist treated me how she felt she could, because of my skin color. I am supposed to grin and tap dance when I come in, I guess. Heaven forbid if I actually have other problems that I am concerned about. Last comment, I STILL don't know what she wanted me to say or do after she reminded me 4 TIMES that I needed a deep cleaning since she said I didn't need it today. Why didn't she then proceed to clean my teeth. All weird. All unnecessary, without ONE clear, concrete example of me being disrespectful. read more

Dr . Taher and her staff have been fabulous. We chose this practice after it was referred by many people in our neighborhood and we are so happy we did. Have been able to accommodate our schedules and they provide high level of personalized care. I like that there are people who text (not random automation) and provide answers to any questions. I wouldn't recommend this dentist to anyone. Instead of calling they decide to text. Front staff is unprofessional. They're quick to charge a cancellation when they reschedule and its inconvenience to the patience. This dentist is very professional and the entire staff is so sweet. Everytime I come here they are so helpful. If you're in need of immediate work I say this is a go to. They always fit me in the schedule as soon as possible I never have to wait more than 2 weeks to get work done. I had an amazing experience with Dr David Wong. He was so patient with me and worked very delicate. He also made sure I was okay through the entire process and constantly reminded me to stay relaxed which really helped me through my root canal procedure. 10/10 recommended. You will definitely be in good hands. read more

Dr Taher is a sweetheart... She doesn't just come in look and leave, she actually did my cleanings. Her dental assistant, cannot remember her name, is also very nice and caring making sure I was comfortable. This was my second visit and the new office is very nice. Been going to Dr. Taher since I moved to Georgia at age 9 and she has been the best dentist I could ask for! I'm sad to be leaving after 15 years with her. Only reason I am is because I moved away and it's hard to have to give a .5 day of vacation to go get my teeth cleaned. I will miss Dr. Taher and all the wonderful ladies in the office!!! read more

Not happy with our experience here the staff can't keep things straight they had the wrong time of our appointment twice and then asked me to move it when I called them to tell him what the correct appointment time was. I scheduled my son for a checkup with x-rays and a teeth cleaning the entire process took less than an hour. They spent more time on his x-rays than they did his teeth cleaning and his teeth look absolutely not one bit different from when they went in. I'm very disappointed with this service they seem like a business that's only interested in the money and they Rush patients out the doors quickly as possible. I would not recommend this dentist office there are far better places to go in snellville that actually care about patient care and not about their money they should be ashamed of themselves for rushing a teenage boy out the door and spending less than 25 minutes cleaning his teeth and it cost $300 to boot. never again read more

Dr. Taher is one of the BEST dentists I have ever know. I've been in the dental industry for over 7 years and she is my go to dentist. Her staff is extremely professional, the dental assistant is on top of all OSHA regulations and takes GREAT care of the patients. Dr. Taher herself is very experienced and her top priority seems to be patient care. I would highly recommend her whether you're looking for a new dentist in the area, or switching from your current provider---she's my f#1 choice. I will be bringing my entire family there. read more
