Based on Yelp reviews, I tried Lipson Dental for a second opinion after a $10,000+ estimate from Buckhead's Best. Their communication and technology are first class. Dr. Kapur gave explanations and discussed options without pressure. Bottom line: Needed work is done with more durable options at half the cost. Plus excellent staff and pain management. Now, I have a health care Partner, not a Pusher.

This is my first review ever for Yelp, Google, or anything else. To give you a small understanding…read more- I'm the guy who 99% of the time doesn't like complaining and refrains from making any sort of scene in public. I try to be an understanding person when a service/food experience is just horrible to try not to get anyone fired. Somehow when I leave I'm able to look at the positives and I walk away just not going back to that location again. I'm going to change that today as I am now fed up completely. I initially called this dentistry on the recommendation of a friend. I called for Dr. Noorani and apparently he was booked for almost two months. I have a root canal that needs to be done and so I was obviously in tons of pain. They tried to have me go with another dentist at the office. Due to my horrible experience with bad dentists I did not want to take a chance and I told them to just give me Noorani's next available appointment. I waited just to get a call the day before that my appointment is cancelled. The office KNEW i was in pain and that I waited for this dentist yet I get a call almost two months later with them trying to throw the same dentist that I initially declined. I was extremely upset as I was in tons of pain but I gave it another chance (people make mistakes right?). The front desk lady said she would book me for a consultation appointment (with a different dentist a week and a half later) to just view it so they can prescribe me medication for pain control/antibiotics and then the Monday afterwards would give me my appointment with Noorani in the morning. The first Monday comes around for my consultation and I was still out of town for work, I call to let them know and ask them if they can just do the consultation on the same day (Noorani appointment) and ill get through the pain till then. She then tells me I never booked your appointment for next Monday. When I asked why she said "I wasn't sure if you wanted it". So you booked me for the consultation on Monday but didn't book the main appointment that I have been waiting for over 2 months (close to three now) with the busiest dentist in the world?! She then tells me my first appointment wasn't a consultation and Dr. Noorani was going to start the procedure... I had never been more confused in my life. I was completely silent over the phone and then she gives the final blow by saying that Dr. Noorani has also said he will only do the root canal if I let him also do the crown!!!?? This was something we spoke about the first day I called and they specifically knew I was going to another dentist for my crown and he is a dentist that doesn't have an issue with it. BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN he wants to do my crown which is very expensive almost $1000 over my primary dentist. By far my worst experience ever from a medical professional. You would hope that people in this field care about your medical needs and at-least stay true to their word. Calling a patient 2 months later the day before an appointment to cancel and making sudden ultimatums is completely unethical and to be frank upsetting. Man, I feel a little better now. Throughout it all, they've consistently made us feel welcome and well cared for. One of the things that has always set this office apart is their respect for patients' time. Unlike many places where you can arrive promptly only to wait 30 minutes or more, I've rarely waited more than five minutes here. That reliability means a lot. Today's visit, however, was bittersweet. I came in expecting to see my longtime hygienist, Kelly, only to learn she is no longer with the practice. While the new hygienist was pleasant and professional, I truly missed seeing Kelly. She's been a part of our dental care journey for years, and that kind of connection is rare. In my opinion, businesses should do everything they can to retain the people who help make them great--whether through better compensation, flexibility, or simply recognition. That said, I'll continue coming to Princeton Dental because the overall experience remains the best in the area. And wherever Kelly is, I sincerely hope she's doing well.

On 1/2/26 the visit for my husband and I was nothing short of unprofessional by Ms. D at the front desk. We did not realize my husband's insurance had changed to Anthem from UHC at the time he had already had the fillings. Ms. D went back and forth with me about she needed the member ID number and the provider number. At the time, she was not going to allow my husband to get his cleaning. I asked her if she would allow him to go back, while I get with the insurance company to get the information. AT first she didn't. My husband got upset and walked out. I was trying to tell her whatever the cost would be it would be paid, just let him go back while he is off from work now to get the services. I provided her with a telephone number I was given verbally over the phone with Anthem. Ms. D calls the number and couldn't reach anyone. She proceeds to say "the policy is we don't call more than two times". I told her don't call anymore, I am chatting with the company and will get her the information. I provided her with the ID number. She insist I give her a provider number to call. As we all know, she could have just went to check online just as another provider did over the phone today with the member number and his date of birth to see he was active. She didn't want to do it. She didn't like that I spoke up for myself and my husband to her, and didn't mind correcting her when she was wrong. I ended up chatting with an Anthem person, and they provided me with the Provider Number and the Member ID. Gave to her, and which she still did NOT contact. Let's guess. the policy. Yeah ok. She first charged $175, then she charged another $625.00 once someone showed her she didn't charge the correct amount. I provided her with my card to charge it. I asked her okay, so when you all file the claim will yall reimbursement me. She told me I needed to get reimbursed by the insurance company. As I was about to leave, Anthem rep told me once the claim is filed, they will send payment directly to the provider and I would have to coordinate reimbursement from provider. I went back inside and read her what Anthem rep stated. Ms. D then says well yeah that's how it would work. She says they have to let the outsourced person know to reimburse. I called back to speak with an office manager. Ms. D says they don't have an office manager. I asked for the owner to give me a call. Ms D replied "she will give you a call". I said well earlier you told me a he. In addition, Ms. D blatantly refused to provide the discounted rate like she added on the $10,000.00 original rate of a future treatment plan. I asked her about the discount being added on today's visit since it was self pay and she goes "since things went the way it did (or something similar to that)....." then mumbled something else. Ms. D is very unprofessional, condescending, and vindictive. I have taken the extra step in researching Dr. Marlon Brown's telephone number, and left a message. As of today, no phone call so we will not be going back there. It is apparent by other YELP reviews, the front desk/office staff is very unprofessional and I'm Not the only one who has such negative encounters with Ms. D. There needs to be an office manager who is not related to or personally know Ms. D. I am requesting my husband's claim be filed, and make sure yall office reimburse me for whatever the insurance doesn't pay. I have already asked Athem the covered percentage for the codes D4910 (80%), D0120 (100%), D3120 (80%), D2392 (80%), and D2330 (80%). I am requesting refund of all monies minus what the "contracted" rate no later than February 1, 2025 or I will be filing a grievance with the insurance company.
