They have always treated me fine, thats why I stayed with them. I was a mess when i came into the system because I have overlapping complex issues. I went into my first appointments bringing in a sheet of paper with different boxes describing problems and they went through the list. I didn't go in looking for a cure, I went to get disease management. And i have.

Ana Haberman, ARNP, has been my husband's and my primary care provider for almost two years, and we couldn't be happier with the care we receive. Ana is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about our concerns. She always takes the time to listen, answers all our questions clearly, and never makes us feel rushed. On the occasions when Ana wasn't available, we saw Dr. Thomas Chin, MD, who was also very knowledgeable and caring. He made us feel comfortable and well cared for during those visits. The entire HealthPoint medical staff in Bothell is professional, friendly, and welcoming. They always respond quickly and are great at taking care of your concerns, which makes a huge difference in feeling supported and confident in your care. If you're looking for a provider and medical team who combine expertise with genuine compassion and responsiveness, I highly recommend Ana Haberman, Dr. Thomas Chin, and the HealthPoint staff in Bothell! At first, Google maps or Apple Maps just say that Optum doesn't have a suite number. I'm glad they…read moretexted me it was suite 215! However, it's a little confusing b/c when you enter from the parking garage, it's literally a straight shot into the clinic! You don't have to go to the second floor. I'm so glad there were parking signs that pointed to the parking garage from all different angles and within radius! That was what I was most concerned about when I was heading down for my appt. The parking garage is small but you have to look up at the parking spots and see which ones are labeled 'Optum.' They're compact sized too so be careful since it's next to some concrete pillars between the parking spaces. I went here for Dermatology and not sure what other depts are around. Melissa, Dr. Iyer's MA was so warm! I met Dr. Iyer for the first time and she explains things well, not to mention humorous! She cares and really interacts with you on a friendly basis. I really like her! The exam rooms are clean and really modern!

They make you download a my chart app for tracking. They message me saying prior authorization was approved and to go pick up what I need at a pharmacy. I go in and they say it was never approved and needs to go through a specialty pharmacy. So get ahold of them via messaging app on my chart. They say its ready for pick up again but give me a pharmacy in Indiana. When I request a call on the my chart app from someone I'm told to call the pharmacy. Never got a call and still have many questions. Sounds very lazy to me. Probably wont get what I need because of it.

It seems some reviews here are about UW's policies and procedures in general. I am talking about…read morethis clinic specifically. I have been going here for six years and I hope I never have to go anywhere else. I have very complex health needs and I always know I will be treated kindly and with respect by everybody here -- doctors, nurses, staff, lab technicians, everybody. The integration with my specialists is terrific. I feel like my entire care team here and at the rest of UW are connected and can help in treating me holistically, not just looking at numbers and stats.

I have not been impressed yet with the quality of their care. I came in for my wellness check and…read moreto establish care and it was very basic which is fine, they do only what is the on the list for your age and gender but the reason for the rating is a couple of things. Do NOT ever let them record you for their notes because those notes and imformation can be seen by the billing department so not sure how they can violate Hepa but everyone does. Also, if the doctor asks you a question or notices something they just randomly mark it down as a diagnosis and then they bill you more as complex. For example, if you have acne but you came in for another reason and the doctor asks if you have acne and you say - I don't want to be treated for it - literally you say that, they can then write down a diagnosis of acne in your chart and charge you more for the visit. I don't think if the doctor notices something like that which you don't want to be treated for that they have the right to diagnose you without telling you. Make sure if you get asked to tell them that you don't want a "diagnosis". I feel like they are looking for diagnoses to make you complex case. I do not take any medications and have no chronic conditions but somehow UW Med says I am "complex" but no other doctor's practice has ever said that. Be very aware of what you say and what they write down is my recommendation.
