The coffee tastes very authentic and the macadamia latte was like nothing I had ever tried before! The staff were very sweet and informative when asked about Vietnamese cold brew. The location is more dedicated to bean roasting but they have a grab and go counter for speciality coffee drinks. I've tried two of their seasonal specials: the Golden Eye (an orange cardamom shaken espresso) and the Green Dream (matcha with raspberry and lime). The coffee here is EXCELLENT. The drip brew today was so smooth and tastes something like chocolate and cherry, at least in my untrained guess at the notes, so come get some for yourself! As someone who's generally had an unrefined taste for various coffee types this place literally advanced my understanding of the difference that small-batch roasting makes in the final product. Baristas are young and very friendly. I'll be back to try one of their more specialty seasonal drinks and espresso. Only wish they had a bit of indoor seating -- its a nice warm environment inside and some bar seating at the window or a couple tables would be great. I've gotta say... Upon pulling up, I was definitely a bit unsure about this place. It's off the main road and tucked away in the corner of a little parking lot that looks rundown, but given all of the rave reviews I had to go and try for myself. I work nearby, and I am not the biggest fan of Dunkin or Starbucks for no other reason than I would love to continue supporting small businesses right now. I have to say, this may be the best coffee I've ever had. The owner and employees are incredibly nice and they offer a wider selection of in-house coffee's that I've never seen anywhere else. It's clear to me that the owner is very passionate about his shop, and is very well-versed and educated about coffees all around the World. The young man helping us was wonderful. Super sweet/friendly and gave us samples to try on our first visit. Our orders were brewed fresh so yes you may be in there for a few minutes longer than an average coffee shop. But this is not an average coffee shop. This is also not the place to come for syrups, sweeteners or any of that other nonsense. This is REAL, robust coffee. A hidden gem and a must try. He walks around and shows me on the side of the wall all the different listings. Sulawesi jumped out at me, can I get that in a pour over? But of course! To have a latte is just a sin, I want to taste the coffee, to see if its the real deal.He then weighs the beans and grinds them. He takes the finished product and says, here smell this. Holy Moley, amazing! After my pour over, I'm now in the zone. What a proper cup of coffee. It's almost intoxicating. The taste was truly amazing. Also, I was given a small dixie cup with extra coffee.
