This is such a cute life cafe in Lindenhurst. I came here with my husband on and early morning coffee date. We aren't coffee connoisseurs but we do enjoy a good cup of Joe. My husband went with the baristas recommendation of a pistachio espresso and I opted for something sweeter and got an affrogato. The gelato I went with was the rainbow sugar cookie and it was so delicious. I really enjoyed the chunks of cookie and chocolate. The menu options are endless. Came here for a late in the day coffee pick-me-up and certainly wasn't disappointed. The guy manning the coffee bar was patient and nice and got our order put together super quick. I decided to go with the PB&J flavored latte (any PBJ option for me is a MUST order) and my date got just a plain iced latte. Both were tasty and smooth (although I would have liked mine to be a little hotter) but the real attraction that is making me want to come back is their Gelato. We didn't try it on our stop in, but it looked amazing and is enough to get me to comeback for that alone. Parking right on Wellwood can be crazy, I'd recommend parking on one of the side streets or the nearby municipal lots to avoid the headaches. read more

Walking in and you have to love the vibes from the barista. Smiling and happy. Loved it. First time here and I like it. Didn't expect gelatos and some of the interesting baked goods which was a nice surprise. Coffee was fresh and just right. They have an outdoor table and would be nice to see another one under some shade. It's new business so I hope to also see a warmer feel inside like other coffee shops. Some more of the owners coffee personality if that makes sense. They do offer local residents a discount for those looking to save. I live in west Babylon not that far from this shop. A few months ago, a friend and I were walking around Lindenhurst town area and we walked into this place to grab a drink. Place was small, but it was decorated very well. The service was awesome. The guy working there was very nice and informative. There was a few tables on the inside. I know they had a little hutch looking thing near the back that had shirts etc for sale as well. The food was good and the drinks were good as well. Visit Date: March 20, 2021 I had no idea this espresso bar was here until I saw a post about it on facebook for a fundraiser. I just moved back to Baldwin but I am no stranger to driving long distances I'm driving my son to school still most mornings from Baldwin to Babylon and I drive far distances to seek out adventure. So I dragged my dad and my son with me because it was my weekend to have him and I drove out here for the fundraiser. $92 later hopefully that helped the fundraiser enough we were out of here. I bought bracelets that they had on sale one for myself even though I have enough bracelets to choke a horse, one for the guy I'm seeing and one for one of my friends. I got the kings highway drink which is nutella, whipped cream and espresso shots it was so good, a regular espresso shot, gelato for my son and I and two regular coffees one for my dad and one for myself. I will definitely be back here once in awhile for some coffee stops! It's worth coming to!!! read more

Decided to check this place out. Turns out they opened this year in January! I got an affagato and my friend got a stuffed cookie and medium drip coffee. It was my first time having affagato and it was SOO good. Their affagato is 2 scoops of gelato and one shot of espresso. They had several flavors of gelato including pumpkin caramel crumble, apple pie, pistachio, stracciatella, vanilla, and chocolate. I got the pumpkin crumb and apple pie gelato. It was absolutely heavenly. The combination was amazing. They give you a portable takeout cup for it too if you're having it to go. It's helpful that they give you a cup with a dome cover so the gelato doesn't melt everywhere. I also had a bite of their cookie and it was really good. You can tell they make their baked goods fresh as it didn't taste artificial. Their drip coffee is also really good quality according to my friend. This place is a real Italian espresso shop. They also have drip coffee as well as cold brew. She had to explain to us that they don't do a "Starbucks" macchiato, but they do a Italian macchiato with a shot of espresso and foamed milk. They had some seating inside and one table outside with chairs. So outdoor seating is avaliable. I will definatly come here again to try some of their other desserts and drinks! read more

Stop in here spur of the moment during a local street fair, asked the barista to make me a latte flavored of her choice and that I like it sweet. Oh boy was I winner she made me a spumoni latte and I couldn't have been happier. So much so I convinced 3 other people to go get one. I only wish the cup was bigger I could have enjoyed it longer! The place is cute quaint space there's a little seating area when you enter. Oh and from what I hear the gelato is fantastic and by the fact that most of their flavors were sold or low I'd say they probably are, will find out on my next trip! read more

So Sveglio is my favorite coffee shop! They have delicious coffee (a ton of different flavored syrups to put in the coffee), sweet treats, and a fabulous staff! I've tried a bunch of different flavors in my coffee, but the pistachio, hazelnut and amaretto are my favorites! They also have oat milk, which is the only milk I drink, so that is wonderful! I've had the double chocolate chip muffin a bunch of times, which is so good and moist and I've also had the chocolate chip cookie with a rainbow cookie inside, which is obviously incredible (because how could that not be good)! I am looking forward to trying the gelato though! It looks so delicious every time I go in! Aside from the great products So Sveglio provides, the staff is truly amazing. Everyone is so personable and kind and I always look forward to stopping there for my coffee! read more

Updating my review. I went back to So Sveglio around breakfast time for a caffeine boost. The owner was super nice, we chatted about some local businesses in the area while he made my mocha-ccino. Delicious, quality beans, and great cookies and treats as well. Happy to have this place right by the train! read more

This place is a hidden gem and a great attribute to Lindy village! Anthony the owner is super friendly and welcoming. So Sveglio is a small coffee shop with big Italian vibes! The coffee is a 10/10 and the pastries....forget it The coffee is reasonably priced compared to nearby competitors. He also doesn't charge extra for light (or no) ice! I enjoy all the variety of coffee flavors this place has to offer.
