I've been taking my vehicles to Gerald's for a few years and always do a great job. Really friendly and knowledgeable owner and personnel.

AJ and his team did a thorough inspection and determined the frame was twisted and needed to be straightened. Not only did they do the body and framework. But they went out of their way to make sure every issue was handled correctly. With the Jeep being a 2006 Wrangler, getting parts is not easy and it took some time for the repairs to be completed. But I was satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend them.

When I arrived, the radio didn't work, the battery was dead, part of the roof latch was missing, and the pop-up section had clearly been repaired. In my opinion, that is nowhere near "like new." I spoke with their salesperson, Manny, and he asked for a deposit. I told him clearly that I would purchase the camper for cash once the agreed-upon repairs were completed. I was not comfortable putting money down on a camper that still had unresolved issues. Over the next two days, Manny and I stayed in communication while I was told the camper was being fixed. We agreed on an $8,000 price provided the roof was sealed and the other issues were addressed. On the morning I was supposed to pick it up, Manny called me around 8:00 AM asking if I was still coming. I told him yes and that I would be there shortly. When I arrived, Manny was expecting me. As we drove toward the camper, he specifically asked his manager whether the roof had been sealed. The manager said yes. It had not been sealed. The battery was still dead. The new radio had not been installed. The repairs we had discussed were still unfinished. Then, while I was standing there Alsing what was going on with the non resolved repairs and expecting to complete the purchase, the manager informed me that the camper had been sold to someone else that morning. His response was essentially: "Did you put down a deposit?" No, I did not -- because their salesperson and I had an ongoing written conversation stating that I would purchase it once the agreed repairs were completed. I have the text messages documenting the entire situation, including messages from Manny indicating that the manager sold the camper despite the arrangement we had been working under. I understand that without a deposit they may have technically been free to sell it. That is NOT the issue. The issue is that their salesperson called me that very morning to confirm I was coming to purchase it, allowed me to drive there, and nobody bothered to tell me it had already been sold. On top of that, the repairs I was repeatedly told were being completed had still not been done. Afterward, I spoke with the owner, Josh, hoping he would at least acknowledge how poorly the situation was handled. Instead, the conversation repeatedly came back to the fact that I had not placed a deposit, while largely ignoring the communication from his own salesperson and the amount of time I wasted traveling there based on what I had been told. Between both trips, I spent roughly eight hours driving because I relied on what their staff communicated to me. People can decide for themselves whether they want to do business with a company that operates this way. My advice: get absolutely everything in writing, verify that promised repairs have actually been completed before making the trip, and do not assume a verbal or text agreement with their salesperson will be honored by management. I certainly will not be doing business here again. And yes, I raised my voice and used bad words with them after the fact. And I'm not sorry. And to be fair, Manny is not at fault. He just has terrible managers. And also, they blocked me on their social media... this goes to show you who they really are! Beware!!
