I really value the quality of the parts used at Stewart Auto Repair. The service advisor suggested that I purchase the best tires available for my car, Yokohama Avid for my Honda Fit. The shop has done repairs on the tires and front end of my car as well in the past few years. Recently, a friend and I were driving to a vacation when we had to stop suddenly. My friend later swore he didn't think my car would stop since he owns the same make and model, but mine did because of the tires, the brakes and the integrity of the front end. While other shops may charge somewhat less or suggest tires that save me money, I'll stick with Stewart because their work and their advice saved two of us from serious injury and a personal disaster instead of a great vacation. read more

I took my Mercedes here for a brake job all 4 wheels back in September 2017.I happened to walk out of the waiting room due to it taking so long compared to the time that I was promised. I heard the mechanic call my car a piece of shit and the office guy tried to shush him up as he saw me walking out of the door.They charged me $900.00 which I didnt complain cause the dealership wanted $200 more.After paying him $900 for the brakes( actually they were a little over $900) I asked for a prie on 4 new tires.The best he could offer was $400 per tire. I was like dam I just paid you $900.00 is this the best you can do. Needless to say I went aroung the corner to national tires same day and got 4 brand new tires for $397 out of the door. They were not top of the line but were not at the bottom of the line either. So to me service kinda sucked.They swore up and down that they only use factory parts but could provide no warranty of anything showing the type of brakes put on and waranty with the brakes. I had no time to argue as I was on assignment as an adjuster to rush to the aid of those in need from the IRMA catastrophe.I had just that day to get my car fixed as I had just flew in from aiding with Harvey victims in Texas. In November my brake lights came on and while calling to tell them. I mentioned to him at the same time that the mechanic had tracked grease smudge unto my tan flooring and I couldnt get it out. He said to me "And you are just now calling?".I didnt even have time to argue working Irma 12 hours a week 7 days a week. I just decided to let bygones be bygones. The brake light is still on but I don't even trust taking my car back.I hope others have ahd a better experience.I would never recommend this shop for anyone.They made me feel like crap. read more

Took my car in for a alignment, they are very friendly place. Went the extra mile by explaining and showing me what was wrong.

My vehicle ended up with damage it didn't have before taking it into the shop. And that which I took it in for could not be done but only an attempt at it was performed and I was told afterwards and charged full price as if it was done. #1.Custom wheels I always keep up inside and out .#2 results of damage.#3 Damage etc.. read more

I highly recommend staying away from this shady shop. After doing done shopping around over the phone I decided to have my truck towed here because the owner sounded friendly and offered a reasonable price. We spoke clearly about what I needed done to my truck and he agreed that it could cost $250 but he could not promise that price without seeing the truck. I asked if he thinks he could at least keep it under $300. He said probably. So I agreed to let him work on my truck. When I arrived with my truck in tow I was greeted rudely and treated in a condescending manner. I was told it will def be more than $300 before he even looked at my truck. Fortunately I have free roadside assistance and it could have my truck picked up at no charge. Otherwise in sure they would have been happy to take advantage of my time of need. As I waited for the tow truck to arrive they then decided to come take a look at my truck and talk about what it may need done. With a new estimate of $600 + !!!!!! Ridiculous ! I towed it down to Larry's wrecker service on cypress gardens where he gladly took a look and promised to have it ready for me in a couple of days for.$300 Stewert's is no good. Not sure where to start with this review.. I arrived at Stewart Auto Repair on Monday 4/20/15 at 10am to have them give me an estimate of repairs on my transmission. A week before i came by i noticed that my transmission had been acting a bit abnormal than usual (odd shifting, louder exhaust). They assured me that they would look into it, charge me an hours worth of labor, and call me before they would even do any work. at 12:30pm i drove by and the vehicle was no longer parked out front nor was it in the shop. I figured they were done testing it and expected to receive an estimate phone call soon. Flash forward to 4:30pm, no phone call and they close soon, so i decided to give them a call. Their service adviser Robert Young answered an told me that he wasn't sure what the mechanic found and that he was trying to track down a part for it all day. He told me that his mechanic would call me back and i asked that it would be asap in case i needed to get my vehicle before they closed. Five minutes later Robert calls me back and tells me that my 2nd gear is completely gone and that i needed a specialty vacuum part that he has been trying to track down all day. Mind you while he was telling me all this there was a lack of confidence in his voice, kind of like he didn't know anything about car parts, mind you he is the service adviser here.. So at this point I'm mad that he has been trying to track down this part all day to prepare my quote while my truck has just been sitting there and I've been vehicle-less. I tell him that I'm on my way to get the truck, and when i arrive i found the truck parked outside with the back window open, in the pouring rain.. I go inside and ask to speak with the mechanic Walter personally,and he tells me the same issues but in a tone of "I'm going to make this sound huge and catastrophic so you sign a service agreement with us now". Mind you, I'm a bit of a grease monkey and i do my own maintenance and only one mechanic has touched this vehicle in the three years I've owned it. He even told me that he didn't check the vacuum with a vacuum gauge at all because he felt it didn't need it. Needless to say, I took what he said with a grain of salt, paid the cashier the agreed upon 90$ and went about my way for a second opinion. When i got out to the vehicle i checked the back near the open window, everything was soaked, the carpet, tools, and electronics. Glad to see they were nice enough to roll up the other windows but not the rear... Then i turned the key and pressed the power button on my radio, and it starts blaring death metal from my XM radio. Seriously? My XM radio is a separate unit from my actual radio in a different location. Someone there took the time to find it, change the station and decided to rock out when they should have been listening to my vehicle when they drove it. I also found my second row seats folded up like they pilled in other mechanics and went to lunch or something, really nice.. The next day i called at 8:30am to speak with a manager about the damage to my vehicle and my complaint of what looked to be a joy ride for the crew. I received a call back later that afternoon from the service manager Jason to hear out my complaint and try to resolve the issue. He did offer to have his company detail the vehicle, but at this point i wasn't interested in returning. While speaking with him i also could tell that he didn't sound confident when it came to car parts/auto repairs. We eventually settled on a partial refund to my card, i felt that was fair to help cover their shop fees, and the 10 minutes they probably spent on my truck. After we settled on that, there service customer service manager Megan called me to tell me the refund had been processed, and before i could say thank you, she hung the phone up on me.. I have since had the vehicles issues repaired at another shop in town where i received phenomenal service. A shop that took the time to get to know me and the time to get to know my vehicle. And the problems that Stewarts said i had? They weren't my issue, I did still have second gear, and that specialty vacuum part was fine. i just needed a vacuum pump, something a vacuum test would have found that Walter chose not to test. Overall i would not recommend Stewart Auto Repair just because of there lack of customer service and customer respect. read more

I reached out to Stewart's Body Shop to see if they could perform a quick alignment, as it was very bad and I travel a lot. They were able to get me in and provide top-notch service, all while treating me in a professional but personal manner. After the alignment it was time to finally replace my tires, after calling around and comparing prices I found that Stewart's had the best prices and carried more of a selection of tires and specials. Even though there was an issue with ordering my tires it was noticed and corrected immediately along with a discount given due to inconvenience (we are all human). You can tell that they take pride in keeping a good reputation and actually care for their clients. I will be returning for further car treatment and recommend this auto shop to my friends and clients. read more

I recently ordered a new custom built Toyota Tundra from the factory to get exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, after driving my new Tundra for only three months, I was side swiped by a young lady who was texting while driving. My truck was extensively damaged along the entire driver's side including the bumper, headlight and grill area. I took it to Stewart's Auto Paint and Body, where they assured me they could make my truck as good as new. Stewart's did exactly as promised! When they finished with my truck, there was absolutely no evidence of the damage and I was thrilled that it did indeed look and drive like brand new again. Although at least one third of the vehicle had to be repainted, the paint was a perfect match in both color and finish, and they paid incredible attention to detail in all areas of the repair. In my opinion Stewart's is the best auto body shop in central Florida and I would not even consider taking my vehicles anywhere else. They are extremely professional and their customer service is unequaled, based on my considerable years of experience. They keep up with the latest technology in their field, have unquestionably high standards and it shows in their work. I am extremely careful about giving personal recommendations, but I do not hesitate to highly recommend Stewart's. I've relied on them for numerous repairs, both major and minor over the last 25 years and I've ALWAYS been pleased with the results. Based on my experiences with them, YOU will be also! I have to say, I have been to 2 chevy places and 2 other auto repair shops in the last 3 yrs for the same complaint. All have said there is nothing wrong and they don't hear what I hear in regards to rattling, thumping in the wheel,clicking in steering column etc. I was told its an older car , needs grease maybe, noticed an oil leak, was told probably head gasket. On and on with what it could be and After many attempts with no success and thousands out of pocket I decided after reading their ratings and reviews to go to Stewarts Auto repair. I explained all the same complaints to them and after a day of inspection of entire car they told me what they found( which was different than what I was told by others) We agreed to let them work on my car and when I got it back all the things were fixed! No more noises, drives like a new car and quite and no head gasket problem, just a $10 part. It was certainly worth the one time cost rather then having to buy a new car and a 6 yr car payment . Thank you Amy and Mechanic Blake for your excellent service and dedication to finding and solving these annoying and what could've been a dangerous problem for me in the near future. Thanks givings weekend, drove throught town, transmission in my Nissan went out. So I had it tow to Stewart's auto, I was prepared to pay thousands dollars for that matter. An hour later got a call from Stewart's auto, that they found out that Nissan has extended warranty on transmission to 10 years 120000 miles, and he called Nissan to make sure it's true then he called me and told me to tow my car to Nissan. Turned out I've spent $0. I don't think there's that many mechanics would do what Stewart's did. They deserve 5 star. read more

I know the owners and all employees, (NOT FROM FL) because unfortunately I had about 8 car accidents, (NEVER HIT ANYONE IN MY LIFE) where people have crashed into me from 07/2009-present! Yes, I agree with you that all staff is professional & very friendly. Especially since the shop did NOT know your car/truck, they would encourage you to bring your truck in to give you an accurate estimate to fix your part of the truck; the alignment! If you serviced your car there before, they would of assessed your car and told you what needs to be fixed now, if you want & why, other things you have time to fix and other things you have months or miles to fix! This is the philosophy of how, "STEWART's Auto Repair & Auto Body Shops operate only! All in all, NEVER go by the price to fix this or that"quickly"; your words! Your alignment may have NOT been done correctly or maybe they put in a used part? Only time will tell. Were the technicians licensed and required to attend many classes to obtain credits to maintain their licenses to continue their professions in auto repair & auto body repair, fixing all makes and models of cars/trucks? People who have been going to Stewart's for years continue to go and are so....happy they found an honest shop who fixes your car/truck the very first time. Even police/fire cars are fixed here! Stewart's has always been very honest about what my vehicles need and do everything possible to accommodate me for transportation needs while my car is being repaired. Their pricing is reasonable and all of their staff are really nice. The mechanic had to replace quite a bit on my old '97 Chrysler van but it has been running great since then and that was quite a while ago. High integrity; great communication, and quality service. Took the car in on Thursday because check engine light had come on. The diagnostic test indicated a cam sensor which is in the distributor assembly. Since the car was not malfunctioning, they gave an option of replacing it or taking the car back, as after having the light turned off, they test drove the car and it did not come back on. For all of this no charge (where we had been taking the car a year ago, there definitely would have been a charge, and probably not given the explanation, just replacing the distributor assembly). Driving it home, the light came on again. We decided to have the work done. While doing the work they found a worn rotor as well, which we had replaced. The material cost of the new distributor assembly and rotor was $339; three years ago elsewhere we had a new distributor assembly installed and the cost for material only was $497. This is our second experience with Stewart, and we will continue going there. read more
