Just the pictures opportunities is enough for me to make the one hour drive if I were to venture into the area again. There is big bright pink feathers wings and a swing covered in rose vines that the owner allowed my daughter to sit on and take pictures. There is also a rose wall for backdrop. The cakes come in beautiful packaging and are super moist. There is also chocolate covered strawberries and many other Portuguese desserts. There is also flan and surprisingly empanadas and other savory bites. Sadly, they don't serve iced coffee. But they do have hot coffee, cappuccino, lattes. The bakery is also located at the edges of Hager Pond. You can enjoy your baked goods with a hot drink by a wooden gazebo just a few stores down from the bakery or looking out at the pond if you swing around behind the shop and park in the back parking area. I'm not drinking alcohol because I'm nursing my child, but the alcoholic drinks looked delicious. Since they had teas and nonalcoholic beverages - even asterisked to show which ones had caffeine - I was happy to order something, and I opted for their hot chocolate, the "Third Eye." I saw ingredients like cinnamon, cardamom, and coconut, and I was sold. Were there ingredients I didn't recognize? Yes. Did it say "medicinal hot chocolate"? Yes. Did I think anything of it? No. To me, ALL hot chocolates are medicinal. We all had our drinks and moved on to the next location. As we were walking, I felt...off, almost like I was drunk. By the time we sat down at the new spot, I said, "I feel like my head is expanding," like it was being pumped full of helium. "It's your third eye opening," someone said, I thought jokingly. "Ohhhhh yeah," said my birthday friend. "I forgot that when I went to the evergreen room when my wife was pregnant, there were a bunch of drinks they said she couldn't have because she was pregnant." So I began googling the ingredients I didn't recognize and noticed that all of them said "Avoid consuming while pregnant or nursing." Therefore, the bad: if there are ingredients that people don't know offhand are bad to consume while pregnant or nursing, they need to be indicated on the menu. If they can asterisk drinks with caffeine, they can denote this as well. I would not have ordered the hot chocolate had I known. I wasn't aware of the "hippy dippy" nature of this place, as the locals were, so it didn't even occur to me to ask. If they fix that one thing in the menu, I'd give them five stars!

The cake was scheduled to be delivered at 12:00. I had to take time from my family to call and inquire about the delivery at 1:15. When the cake was cut it had obviously been frozen as the butter had seized and crumbled when cut. This beautifully decorated and tasty cake presented as a complete mess. When the bride and groom cut the cake, chunks of frosting fell away. Ruined our pictures completely. We won't look at those pictures and remember that the cake tasted good, but what a let-down you provided for us. I am incredibly frustrated and will never trust you to make a special occasion dessert for me again.

On the day of the pick up they brought out a quarter sheet cake with the design messed up due to the small size. the pictures on the cake were covered. And when asked what happened they just casually said we made a mistake and it is what it is. The owner didnt even have the minimum decencey to call and apologize for the screwup that they did. My son was extremely dissapointed looking at the screwed up image on the cake. Terrible, terrible service and never again will I order nor recommend a custom cake from there. Pathetic is not the word.
