Black and white cookie and Boston cream cupcake.
    Kenny D.

The service could have been a bit better (the employee spent the first few minutes cleaning instead of acknowledging there were two customers waiting before finally finishing her task and then asking if I was ready to order) but the treats were delicious. I ordered the Boston crème cupcake and it was divine. The icing was just the right amount of chocolatey sweetness and the cake was moist with just the right amount of cream. I also got a black and white cookie. The icing was also delicious. I am used to these cookies being on a vanilla wafer cake, but this one was chocolate. I prefer vanilla but the chocolate was still pretty good. I'm glad I stopped here for some delectable treats!

Great experience here. The cannolis are great and had to grab a piece of the white chocolate raspberry cheese cake. 8.5/10.

Super big selection of baked goods. Got the macaroons, carrot cake, Boston creme cupcake, cannolis, and lobster tail. Each were pretty good for what's available in the area. Favorite was the Boston creme. Everything else could have been better but I've been exposed to Boston bakeries like /Mike Modern Pastry. Would probably be better if they focused on a few things versus increasing the variety.

They have gluten free pastries! No idea what the traditional offerings are like, but the GF ones are very good! We had cannoli, cookies, and cake. My favorite was the pistachio cannoli!

Got some cannoli from Gerardo's. Plain and pistachio. The cannoli are neat and ornate. Shell is not great. No flavor, needs some sugar dusting. Also is slightly soggy in the center and does not have satisfying crunch. The filling is creamy and has excellent thick mouthfeel. Good ricotta flavor, sweet and satisfying. The pistachio filling has a light green appearance, I think food coloring was used as it has a synthetic sweet flavor, like syrup or extract, slightly fruity almost like strawberry. The ends have some crumbs of what I believe are pistachios. This needs more real pistachio for complexity and depth of flavor. While Gerardo's plain cannoli have a satisfying ricotta filling, the pistachio falls short. In addition, the shell does not maintain crispiness nor does it deliver a nice fried dough flavor, which one expects from a cannoli shell. I recommend sticking with the plain cannoli, or chocolate dipped.

    Chocolate? Really? Raspberry Filling? Really

If I could leave a 0 star I would. This is the second time that they have messed up our order. We ordered (ahead of time) chocolate cake with raspberry filling for a birthday. You can imagine our surprise when we cut into this to find a vanilla with vanilla frosting. The cakes are high priced to match the quality that you get, yet you get a wrong cake and it makes it no better than a grocery store cake for 3x the price.

That's don't impress me much!…read more That's the feeling I have. Queens Cup has been on my list for about 3 years. I admit, I am weak for frosting so I figured this had to be a win for me. Good location, tough parking if you can't get in their small lot and good luck scoring a table (i think there were only 2!) But that's not the reason for disappointment. It's the product. Magic cookie bars are one of my favorite sweet treats so I had to buy one (at a high cost of $7!) It's heavy and dense but the flavor... the crust was inconsistent. Too thick and too think at points. The taste... it tastes like an M&M (with a slight hint of coconut.) I could have saved myself a lot of money just buying a bag of M&M's. But I don't like M&M's! See the problem? (And there were small M&M's on the top which is ok but it was overpowering.) I also had to try something cupcake related right? My daughter got a huge slice of funfetti cake. I had one layer of the cake. I can share the frosting was thick and dense. I like it sweet and melts in my mouth. Thus was not that. The cake itself was dense too. I was my cake fluffy. Overall I was let down and Queens Cup is off the return list.

We decided to try four cupcakes and three brownies - one of which was gluten free! The cupcakes we got were spectacular with wonderful amounts of flavor that wasn't just sugar sweet. I think of all the cupcake places in Worcester, these are the least likely to cause you to go into a sugar induced coma. Ours were a little on the drier side and was crumbly, but not enough to dock a star. The brownies were great, probably more frosting than brownie, but they were rich and the gluten free one you couldn't even tell it was gluten free. I would like less frosting on the brownies, as that sort of overwhelmed the actual brownie part, but this is also minor. Everything was $4 each I believe, which is consistent with other bakeries in the area, so nothing to remark on there. They do also have savory items for breakfast and lunch too if you're interested in an actual meal. They do also have a nice little cafe seating area that's slightly separate from the Woo Public Market, but there's also plenty of seating a couple feet away at the market too. Overall Rating: 4.5/5 Definitely would come again.

The cake was scheduled to be delivered at 12:00. I had to take time from my family to call and inquire about the delivery at 1:15. When the cake was cut it had obviously been frozen as the butter had seized and crumbled when cut. This beautifully decorated and tasty cake presented as a complete mess. When the bride and groom cut the cake, chunks of frosting fell away. Ruined our pictures completely. We won't look at those pictures and remember that the cake tasted good, but what a let-down you provided for us. My son was extremely dissapointed looking at the screwed up image on the cake. Terrible, terrible service and never again will I order nor recommend a custom cake from there. It's got just the right mix of bounce, density, and butteriness, without being too greasy. Big, fresh blueberries (not the shriveled kind). Plenty of crumbly streusel on top for extra taste and texture. Their mixed berry has multiple fruit presence and more of it, minus the streusel. Also very good. Sometimes the muffins are warm. Sometimes a little long in the tooth. -- Cakes: That's their claim to fame, and for good reason. They're more expensive than most, but so dense, rich, and heavy that a small slice goes a long way. My favorite is the chocolate raspberry decadence (pool of raspberry atop a deep, dark chocolate frosting). Or maybe the strawberry snowflake, which is like the best strawberry shortcake you ever had. -- Cupcakes: These often feature some of the same ingredients as the cakes, such as that killer chocolate ganache. Great for the toppings and fillings, though the cake part (especially if chocolate base) is often dry. -- Cookies: Noticeably less impressive, EXCEPT for the Linzer heart. Great flavor and texture in the raspberry and shortbread. -- Coffee: Good stuff. Not elite, but good, in heavy mugs with good feel. Service is a little lacking. Not so much because of rudeness, but because they're perpetually understaffed for the amount of business they do.
