The communication they had was hands down great, I got daily updates on my car and when I would get it back, my car looks brand new like nothing ever happened. In the fall of 2020, I was hit in a rear-end collision. I took my Nissan Rogue to this shop for repair. The insurance covered 100% of the cost, including the rental car that Gerber Collision obtained for me. The repair was completed in the time promised, and the rear of my vehicle looked like new! Over time, I noticed that the bumper had started to separate from the left rear quarter panel. I took the vehicle back to the shop and explained the situation. Update: I received a call from Zoey with Gerber who claimed to have spoken with my insurance company and was told by them that they MAILED the checks directly to me. I have confirmed with my insurance that that is a lie. Below I have added the insurance records that show both payments were issued and cleared via ELECTRONIC funds. My message providing these details has been blocked from the email Zoey provided me and of course it's impossible to get someone to answer the phone. Gerber doesn't seem to realize that they have given me a physical copy of proof that they have received both the prepaid amount and supplemental amount. Dropped my car off for a simple repair on the bumper and rear quarter panel. Was originally told one week. Then it became two, then it was tomorrow. The finish line was constantly moving. Disassembly didn't even start until the second week it was sitting there. No updates on the car unless I had to call and the office seemed lost with no understanding of basic repair work. Finally decided to go see the car myself and it was done minus a scratch protection sticker for the trunk. The work at least looks decent and this was going to be a 3 star review until I realized this morning that their mechanics have gotten black spots all throughout my tan interior. My father's collectible vehicle was backed into and needed repair. Over a month ago he received an estimate and schedule an appointment for repair in mid February. Upon proactively stopping by today to make a note of a part that was on the other estimates that wasn't on his from Gerber, they acted dumbfounded and ignorant to any of their previous discussions and made excuses though claiming they DID remember a discussion a month ago About the difficulty of attaining the three parts needed and denied the estimate or the appointment. Instead of an apology or an offer to expedite further business they simply stared at him with a self entitled and disrespectfully complacent attitude. Regrettably, I referred him to Gerber , even though I have had issues with their customer service several years ago by them not even replacing a badge on the side of my car after doing the repair and having to wait for hours for them to find time to put the badge on after I had taken off work, paid someone to take me to the location and patiently sat in the waiting room for the additional work . There was then a discussion about if added labor was needed. Think twice before you take your car to this body shop, the employees that paint and finish the vehicles are very skilled but all of the other simple things involved in business are completely ignored. If they're willing to waste almost 3 months of a man's time reneging on the work an appointment they had discussed and made, what do you think they'll do when they're on in time crunch and hastily repair your vehicle? I call and they dont take that guys insurance...only to be told by someone they do,so I call and they ask for a email that the insurance company sent...6 days ago. I call today and an told they do not accept emails or that insurance and no i cant get them to look at the car , the insurance company does that...well I already tried that and they do not. This is worse then trying to get a doctor. Just ridiculous and meanwhile I cant drive to far because the fan motor shorted out from the accident, so no ac and best not sit to long cuz it will overheat. Other Gerber locations have been impressive so I thought they all shared the same business philosophy. Well I was wrong!! Since most places like to schedule appts I called and explained I need to get an estimate on repairing my bumper. The guy who says it will cost $1000 and 6 months to replace your bumper which I didn't expect. I asked why and he sarcastically replied it was a joke because he can't give an estimate over the phone. I explained I knew that and was telling him just so he understood why I needed to get an appointment. He then says he will be there until 12. Since I had a decent experience with other Gerber shops I let the sarcasm slide and go in. My bumper became unhinged in a parking garage and they asked for an estimate to cover the repair. So I met with this unprofessional estimator named Darryl. He stated some bumpers just don't align and I explained mine use to until it was damaged in the parking garage. I explained the guy tried to push the bumper back in for a temporary fix so it wasn't hanging down as I still needed to drive my car a distance. Darryl refused to give me an estimate because he said it looked fine to him as he didn't think it was 'hit'. I explained since it is an estimate and it isn't flush I just need him to note what that would be or his thoughts on what it would cost to make the bumper flush again. He flatly said he can't help me and handed me my info back. Then told me I needed to pay him to remove my bumper so he could see what might be wrong behind it since he thought it was nothing?!! I don't understand why I would take the time to go for an estimate if that's how my car has always been nor do I understand why I need to argue my point with someone that should be in the business of repairing things that aren't right??? I went down the street and the guy wrote an estimate no problem and when I shared my experience at gerber he just asked why wouldn't they just give me an estimate ... And said well that was stupid!! My thoughts exactly!! Funny enough the same people that were at gerber were at the new place getting an estimate also--- funny it seems Darryl couldn't help them either???!! I guess he knows more than the people that drive everyday and know what shape was in before the damage. Gerber needs to employ people that are professional and actually know what the purpose of an estimate is. If you need to take the bumper off to see the problem -- I have an idea WRITE THAT IN YOUR ESTIMATE?!! This guy either doesn't like women or is just lazy and needed excuses to not bother. Gerber is a huge rip off. Got an estimate from them for a front end collision I was in and they wanted almost 10 grand yet hadn't even looked under the hood to check for mechanical damage. Took it to another body shop for a second opinion and they refused to even give me an estimate without looking under the hood and told me 5400 after doing a complete analysis of the damage. Saved almost half as much. Not to mention the staff was rude to me even though I brought my business to them first. read more

I had to come back 3 times to get my car properly fix. My car has never been the same . I got in a car accident and my car came to this shop off orange blossom in Orlando and upon getting car fix the body shop guy told me he open up my back bumper panel Jan 20th in which he emailed me as well keeping me updated on my car and them fixing it Jan22 he emailed me stated they were working on everything and all got approved to fix all issues. When i got my car i noticed the car keeps closing like something was in the latch , they had scratched my tents off , and they left hand prints all over the tan interior of the roof of my car. So I emailed the guy and told him and brought the car back to him . He scheduled for someone to come to the house to do my tents as well . He brushed me off about the latch in which u can see the piece still hanging. The next incident is when I drove the car my whole rear bumper came off while driving . I called the guy told him what bumper he told me come back to the shop Friday. Friday I left drove back to the shop with the bumper taped down to arrive for the guy to change his story and says he never touched anything yet in his email and phone call he told me different. I didn't have nothing wrong with my car before I brought it to this shop minus the accident issue. They refused to fix my car and made me take a blank trip to the shop. I took off work paid for toll and was frustrated from the time the second incident happened. Then they want to charge me to fix it when it was their fault. I could have gotten in an accident with the bumper flying off like that. I am very disappointed and lost for words. They drilled a nail in my body of my car to attach the bumper and said thats all they can do. So now I have to drive around with half of my bumper on until further notice .I dont recommend and wish this nightmare on anyone. I came for 1 issue and left with other problems read more

What an amazing turn around. Jeff, Dulce, and Noli were so knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. A few days after an accurate estimate, we dropped off our SUV at 9:00 am. Enterprise picked us up at Gerber. The vehicle was ready by 3:30 that same afternoon. We were in the insurance business for over 40 years and this was one of the best repair situations we ever had. We are so happy with the work done by this shop. From beginning to end they were so easy to deal with. They were referred to us by State Farm as they were their preferred body shop. Jeff was our contact and he was great. We were kept up to date on the progress by text. The car was ready sooner than expected as they were able to repair the fender rather then replace it. We were even able to leave the Hertz rental there. They even washed the car and shined the tires!! They made the whole experience great and we will definitely use them again if needed! read more

Got an estimate from Michael the office manager for this location, someone backed into my vehicle. The estimate just covered painting my front bumper at around $400. I then took my vehicle to the dealer who right away noticed the bumper was pushed up and needed to be repainted. The repair estimate was around $1300, included the replacement of the bumper because they said it could not be straightened. I went back to Michael to have him redo the estimate since he missed noting the bumper was pushed up on the corner. He tried cover himself by stating they would find additional damages once being repaired. I explained damages were going to be paid by the other drivers insurance, made no difference.
