There was nothing actually wrong with the defrosting mechanism itself. I am very grateful I did not have to purchase a new rear windshield, it saved me a considerable amount of money that I didn't have to spend. I did replace the front windshield as it has a crack in it from interstate driving in Ohio. It was very reasonable and does the job. I appreciate the excellent customer service and honesty!

This seems absurd since the complaint was about their location and the fact that they told me it was warranty, then lied and said they would not stand by their word, and then wanted to put it against my insurance again. Safelite used to be a great company. I assume margins and greed have taken over your ethics. Now my car sits going on three weeks with busted windshield.

She never called me back. Called yesterday and she said she forgot to tell them. She would talk to them and call me back. She never called me back. I called 3 times and no answer. I called twice this morning and no one answered. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! These people do terrible work plus not once did I see or meet a mechanic. My car was just sitting on the lot and I was greeted by some woman in the office. There is a reason these people have no ratings!

He asked the girl who checked us in if she could just let tech know to double check before they give customers wrong info. She pulled the tech aside and told us tell him yourself, so my husband did. Tech had nothing to say except "ok" and gave him a dirty look. There was no "hey we were wrong we apologize"... just nothing. When cars were done my husband tried to tell the tech have a good day and he walked away and didnt even acknowledge him. We came here because ive been a customer in the past and never had an issue. 1. Not having the knowledge to know the difference between AWD and FWD - not good if youre in the vehicle repair business. 2. Not offering any kind of apology when it was YOUR mistake, just bad manners. 3. Walking away and not acknowledging a customer who was polite but pointed out your mistake and told you that you were wrong - unprofessional. We wont be back.
