Absolutely horrific experience. Jeremy Gerber is a crook who has a complete money scheme going. He was hired, paid and ran out on the job. ABSOLUTELY NON-TRUSTWORTHy and shoddy work. He could not even begin to trim out and caulk the pool. There were huge finger divots in the caulking and uneven edges. Looked like a kindergardner did the work. Then he didn't even finish the work, was supposed to repaint our trim around pool as well- He's a CROOK!! BEWARE!!! read more

Jeremy was contracted to replace the lighting on a pool of a property that I sold. He was recommended by the listing realtor and told that he was good and less expensive than the company that the buyers had inspect the pool. He agreed to do the work, and seller paid him a significant amount of money. He went radio silent. The listing realtor told us that she personally delivered the check to him and he agreed to "get right over there and get it done". That never happened. I would avoid this contractor at all costs. Interesting to note that the seller wanted to use him because he thought our pool contractor was "a crook". Our pool contractor that performed the inspection has been in business for 40 years and has a great track record. Sad to know this seller was ripped off - and so were my buyers who closed in good faith the because work was paid for. read more

The work remodeling the area around the pool was good. He asked for the last payment which I didn't hesitate to give him. That was the last time I saw him. He left some of his equipment, left the pool sign in the yard. Thought that was a sign he would be back. Also, left broken tiles in the bottom of the pool, sand, black stains on the walls and some hard globs of plastic looking stuff on the bottom of the pool. We had a mess. Fraudulent owner. Please run the other way if you are considering their services (or lack thereof). Reported to BBB and the Consumer Protection Unit with the Oklahoma Attorney General's office. We, like idiots, paid the required 50% fee upfront to cover "materials and to get started on the work". That was August of 2023. They, in July of THIS YEAR, cutout the liner and skimmer, left behind a massive mess, and refuse to provide me the supposed materials or receipts for the items they claim to have purchased. If anyone can point me in the direction of a good Attorney that has dealt with this type of situation, or this company specifically would be even better, I would GREATLY appreciate it! My next point of contact will be the Rogers County Sherriff's department to report this Scam and their Fraudulent activities. Jeremy took tens of thousands of dollars, didn't finish the job, and left me with a shoddy pool I'm having to finish myself. The tile is falling off of the walls, the main drain is filled with plaster, the pumps and filters leak, and he left cement, sand, cigarette butts and beer cans all over my yard. It wasn't until I submitted a dispute through paypal that he even halfway-installed the pool cover I had paid $6,000 for. What a mess. Don't hire him, and if you do, don't pay in advance. read more

Hired Gerber to replaster pool. Jeremy picked up final payment on October 14th. Same day, I pointed out concerns...the biggest being a 4'-5' circle of milk colored film surrounding drain and debris in water. Said he would be coming back to add chemicals that would take care of it. Came back a week later to add chemicals and said he would be back in a week to add more chemicals, and would let us know when time to add pool sweep. On November 9th, called Jeremy. Reported deep end of pool and much of the walls covered in white-rubber like film. He stated we should have added the pool sweep earlier. Reminded him he was supposed to come back to add more chemicals and let us know when it was time to add sweep. It was revealed he had never come back to add more chemicals/advise on pool sweep. He apologized for that. On November 11th, he sent "David" to our house to inspect and see if he could clean the problem away. There was no way to fix with brush and vacuum. Jeremy texted that he had talked to David and would call me the following Monday or Tuesday with options on how to fix it. That would have been the 14th or 15th. He never texted or called. We then had the pool inspected by a 3rd party who advised the poor condition of the pool surface had nothing to do with improper cleaning/brushing or delay in putting the sweep back in. The plaster work would have to be redone. Further advised that pool sweep should not be added for "28-30" days when the plaster is completely cured and the sweep won't leave tracks on the surface. I texted these findings to Jeremy on November 15th. No reply. Before the holidays. we had another pool company here in Tulsa come to inspect the pool and give an estimate for repairs. They reported signs the surface had not properly bonded and cured. Would not really know until pool was empty. On January 3rd, the pool was emptied. Evidence Gerber's work was faulty became apparent. I shot video and texted Jeremy on what was being said and found. He said he would be happy to come over and look for himself Gave Jeremy the name and contact of the company we had hired for him to hear what we were hearing. On January 4th, we were advised the plaster was over 50% "hollow". It would all have to be chipped/stripped off and hauled away. I texted Jeremy. No reply. On January 5th, I sent more pictures to Jeremy. Told him if I he did not reply, I would take that to mean he assumes no responsibility. A series of texts took place after that. In short, he claims he never got my text on November 15th notifying him we had the pool looked it by a 3rd party. He said "It never happened" and suggested it was a fabrication of some kind on my part. Because I had not properly communicated with him, and because the pool was already getting "busted up"....he was not going stand behind his work or help in any way. I reminded Jeremy that even if it were true that somehow he never got that one text, he had sent an employee to our home who also saw the pool and tried to clean it. He said he would be calling me "with options" to fix it, and never did. I also reminded him he had 3-days while the pool was empty before the tear out began to come see for himself. Said he would be "happy to"...but never did. I learned much: Reputable pool companies in Tulsa don't demand 1/2 payment up front and the other 1/2 right after the plaster is applied. Instead, they break up payments into 3rds...with the final "walk through" payment being up to 30-days after the plaster is applied. They also give a worse and best case scenario/pricing when it comes to prep work as there is no way to know the full condition of the existing pool surface until the pool is empty. Ours was a worse case scenario. Proper prep work before plaster is crucial. Gerber's plaster work was inconsistent in color and not quite the "lagoon" look we we asked for. That would have likely been an easier and less expensive fix. We learned it was a lack of proper prep work that was going to be hugely expensive to us. I did not shop Jeremy. It was not until later I realized just how far below market pricing he is. I went to Home Advisors website. Jeremy and I were talking within an hour. He could be at my house the next morning for an estimate and could get started on the job quickly. We were having a few projects done in the back yard at the same time and were used to waiting for weeks for an estimate and months to get started. I did not read all the available reviews on his company. I did not talk to other potential providers. I try to support small businesses when I can. We hired Jeremy Gerber for pool repair and replastering. Jeremy required cash payment (no cc's, so there is no chance to dispute issues) He asked for half down and half "once we were completely satisfied with the job" Those are his exact words. We paid Jeremy half and he (his 2 workers primarily) completed the initial work. Jeremy then met with us and insisted on the second half of the payment even though the work was not completed. The light still was not installed or working and final coping stones not installed. Also, at this point Jeremy said his electrician would need to do extra work on the light (he never quoted an extra charge for this work) He also said our pump was not working and that we needed a new pump for a cost of $1750. We agreed, even though I knew our pump had been working before. He hastily installed a new pump, which also didn't seem to be working correctly. We then began asking for follow up on the outstanding issues as well as additional testing of the installed systems. Jeremy evaded us and simply asked for full payment of the pump. We sent several texts to him with the answers we needed and asked for follow up and responses, and then we would pay for the pump, the only item left. Jeremy continued to evade our questions and said he need to come into the yard to "look at the pool plaster and chemicals" and he would then let us know what needed to be done. At this time (without any notification to us) Jeremy took out the new pool pump and left our prior pump "installed" with poor electrical and plumbing connections. Interestingly, our prior pump works fine, except it was "reinstalled" improperly with significant leaks and pressure issues. Of course, we have heard nothing else in response to our issues from Jeremy. We have had to have another company come out and repair all shoddy electrical/plumbing at significant additional cost. The reputable company that has done the repairs, advised that the salt water system was incorrectly installed and the correct electrical work was not done. Jeremy did not complete the work as agreed, he sold us additional equipment we didn't need by saying our current equipment was broken. He refused to follow up on any of these issues. And then came onto our property and caused damage to our existing equipment. Overall, it has been a terrible experience and I would not recommend Jeremy/Gerber Pools to anyone. read more
