Great food for the whole family, better than my mother's cooking and great service. The they also have chicken strips for the tiny tots.

There is a very small seating area dedicated to the food truck-- the larger outdoor seating area is reserved for customers of the Brewery. However as long as you order a drink you're welcome to enjoy the food from Ikaika indoors or outdoors. The order process was easy-- they had the full menu on the glass of the ordering booth and a menu board with the gluten free options from their full menu. Once you place the order they give you a beeper that'll work anywhere on the property so you can definitely place the order and head inside the brewery to grab a drink. It did take a long time for our orders to come out-- there were 2 people on average preparing the food while 1 person was in charge of managing the register. The sauce that came with the fish and chips were amazing and got praise from all of us. We also ordered kimchi fried rice and while the kimchi was great, some of the rice tasted undercooked and the celery felt a little strange as an addition. The kalua sandwich was very solid and the buns were toasted beautifully golden and we did order the award winning beans but my partner was not a fan of the sweetness. The coleslaw that came with the fish and chips also had a gingery aftertaste.

Three stars for average. I love seafood, but this was not it. Spicy popcorn shrimp and smoked salmon chunks appetizers, and the large front table by the window, were the highlights. To be transparent, my dad loves oysters, and the happy hour oysters were as expected. My son's muscles entree was good - but we had to drain out the sauce from bottom of pot, into the lid of pot, to enjoy the sauce with the cold sourdough bread that came on the side. Sauce was tasty, but overall it was too much work to get to the sauce, and I was disappointed the bread was right out of the bag or not warmed at least. I ordered the Cesar and added salmon. The Cesar dressing was definitely mayo based, but did contain anchovies, so likely homemade, it had potential, but it tasted mostly like mayo. If you don't love mayo, do not get the Cesar. My mom's Louie salad looked pretty boring, and she was disappointed (which is unusual). My son's girlfriend ordered fries and kids butter noodles - kids menu was great!!! Overall the food was just meh. The service was speedy, but our server had little patience for newbies with a couple questions. Since there was an hour way, we ended up at a little restaurant just up the hill, a place with a cocktail sign hanging out front, and their hummus looked homemade amazing. Great choice in beer on tap too. Just saying.

Started with the spicy Paloma and followed with the house white wine, both superb. We got dishes to share: salmon nuggets, dozen oysters, clams and seafood pasta. All the seafood was so fresh and delicious. The local oysters were like butter, just melt in your mouth. I liked sitting at the bar, watching other people come and go. I hope I get to visit again someday!

The fresh albacore brioche, rockfish taco with chips, fishwich (fresh fried fish sliders my favorite of all) pork sliders, wedge salad (amazing amount if dressing if you like it drenched), and garlic cheese fries, plus a kids cheeseburger/fries for the little one (which was a decent size) Drinks: Watermelon Mojito and Raspberry Lemoncellio (not on HH but so tasty and flavorful) All three in our group enjoyed ourselves. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. There are signs that say to expect an hour for your visit because everything is freshly prepared. We would've gladly waited an hour because everything tasted well, but we didn't have to. Items came out a good pace. There are two dining areas, the one to the right is bigger called the chandelier room with the bar, dining tables and two restrooms. The one to the left is gives off diner vibes with one nearby restroom.

Callen's is a happy medium - a beautiful view, but a casual, comfortable dining area/bar with great food. There's lots of great seafood options here and classic american salads and sandwiches. Everything is prepared well and feels fresh. The kitchen consistently is a bit slow, although service is attentive throughout. There's a notice on the menu that says to expect slower service - this isn't. 20 minute meal before you get on the ferry - it's a leisurely experience with time to have conversations. It's also very accessible - parking out front, a nice ramp, and three single stall accessible bathrooms!
