At a time when the US is trying to get away from all the ugly highly processed foods? I would expect half pounders with a name like that. ($60 will get you the Mammouth 1 lb Burger with a pound of fries) I upgraded to the garlic fries. They were plentiful, Lots of garlic, but oversalted--so much so, I left half of them uneaten. That, and because the ketchup was tainted, made me lose my appetite. Solve those two and they would have been delicious. I spoke with the waitress first, She wasn't very receptive. Later I asked to speak to the manager because I really would like to see this be a great restaurant there in Stanwood. The location in the town square is the perfect setting. When we arrived the place was full but not packed - so we were able to sit down quickly. The staff seems so friendly and accommodating. Had high hopes for this place, but sadly we were very disappointed. Table wasn't clean, and overall it seemed like the place could use a good cleaning. Cooks were very young, and seemed chaotic and flustered. One of the waitresses (a taller one) kept telling the shorter waitress what to do even though the shorter waitress was just as busy with her own tables. Was sad to watch her be treated like that. Stopped in for lunch and we were pleased we found this spot. Beer flights for $12 and amazing burgers. We had one mushroom burger, one blue cheese burger and a standard burg. All were cooked to perfection with great seasoning and flavor. We also had the bacon ranch salad with chicken which was also amazing. I was at Mammoth Burger during their first few weeks of opening. The burger was good and the fries were delicious. This Labor Day trip however was much different. The garlic fries were soggy and tasted like old burnt oil. They were regular fries with a dollop of garlic in the middle that looked like it was from a jar. Who does that? I expected fries tossed with toasted garlic and salt, at least. They were awful. The mushroom burger was ok, but the mushroom flavor never came through. The fried mushrooms the DW ordered were pretty good. I was amazed at how dirty the floor was from first opening. Sticky and blackened. The table was sticky too. It's part sports bar with big screen TVs, part date night with cozy tables for two to four, and part family friendly with longer tables. What I did not like is: my burger arrived over 30 minutes after I was served my beer. My fries were Luke warm when I first got them, they were very flavorful, but they soon became cold and soggy, My burger was juicy but lacking flavor, bland. I never write reviews but had to on this- horrible experience. My family has been to Mammoth Burger many times and my daughter actually picked it for her birthday dinner tonight. It is typically on the slower side but the food typically makes up for it. This time we came with my 3 kids. I ordered a basket of fries to start considering my daughter is 1yo and it is hard to keep her content for long in a restaurant without food. It took nearly an hour after being seated for fries to arrive. It took an hour for our food to arrive. Burgers were room temperature and buns were soggy. My burger had a weird aftertaste. The waitress asked us how everything was tasting and I told her that honestly everything was room temp/ soggy and didn't taste very good. She went back and a manager came out to the table who then asked us how everything was again. I told him the same thing and he said that he was going to see what he could do. It took another 15 minutes for them to come back and they had discounted 4 items on the tab 20%. It was an $8 discount on a $78 tab. Very disappointed by this experience and won't be back. I had to pace while my 1yo daughter whined and cried for the last 45 minutes of our 1.5 hour dinner that didn't even taste good. read more

We went to this restaurant because they claimed to have vegan options. I have very bad food allergies and have to eat vegan, not by choice. Once we arrived we struggled to find a table because although they were not very busy, every table was dirty, with either dishes or with crumbs and food, plus the floor was so sticky everywhere you went that my shoes stuck to it. They did have impossible burgers but they did not have a vegan bun. Their grilled onions and mushrooms are cooked in butter and I was told they could not be cooked differently. Okay YUM! We visited on a Saturday night and immediately got a seat. I love the decor and huge green sign! We started with appetizers: wings & mushroom bites. Both absolutely delicious. Clean plated those! For main dishes I got the black & bleu. Burger was fabulous, blue cheese perfectly tangy and the caramelized onions were amazing ( I mean how could they not) My sister got the fish and chips: huge portions and delicious!
