I got connected with them through Costco, and going through Costco is a great way to buy carpet. My sales rep came out to my home and showed me the different types of carpet and gave me accurate quotes. The installers are sub contractors which is typical for the industry and they did a great job too. This is a company I would recommend without hesitation. Tips for buying carpet (now that I have gone through it): 1. Think about footprints. If you are the kind of person that squeezes the toothpaste tube from the bottom, you might also care about footprints in your carpet. Certain types of carpets hide footprints better than others and give a more uniform look. So if you care, ask specifically for it. All carpet however will still show movement to some degree. 2. Test the carpet like you will use it. A lot of carpet shopping happens on show boards where you will find yourself rubbing your fingertips on different carpet boards to compare. But what do you really do with carpet? Vacuum it, walk on it, maybe lay on it. Literally do all of those actions on the showboard carpet to get to know it. 3. Avoid the small swatch. When you are getting serious about a carpet and want to see the color, you might order a swatch. A 4"x4" size won't tell you much. Ask for the larger piece. You might have to pay a small fee for it but it will be worth it. 4. Buy based on warranty, but don't count on it. Search online and you will see that carpet claims rarely result in the homeowner getting replacement carpet. The warranty does however show you the confidence level the company has in that particular product, so it should be considered for that reason alone. 5. Know the two types of carpet. Most household carpet these days is nylon or polyester. Do a little bit of online research before your rep comes out and it will go a long way. 6. Observe color in 2 types of lighting. You might be surprised to see the color difference when the sunlight hits the carpet fiber vs. your overhead lights. Manager was extraordinarily angry, condescending and rude when he phoned me to discuss my request for remediation. If I could give the flooring back I would. Worst customer service experience of my life by far. I would caution you to do some research before working with Carolina in home flooring. I wish I had.

Ive reached out 3 times, finally getting a hold of him today. He let me know he no longer works with "floor zone". This means my floor is still unfixed. Ive reached out via Email, Text, and through website today... lets see what Floor Zone will do. Im just a unsatisfied customer who has been treated terribly and deserves to have his floor fixed.

But almost immediately afterward, the cabinets started bubbling and peeling--despite the owner claiming they were solid maple. I reached out to the owner repeatedly, and he ignored every single message. Only after dragging my contractor into (Reno-Pro) it did he finally bother to call me back. His excuse? That the damage was my fault because the cabinets are supposedly only meant to be cleaned with a dry cloth. If that's truly the case, why on earth would he recommend them for a kitchen? And why did he originally tell me they were solid wood? After several attempts to get answers--plus leaving a negative review--he reluctantly replaced a few doors. He even showed up with his secretary, who parroted his claims despite never being part of any previous conversation. A year later, the exact same problems are back. The cabinets are bubbling everywhere: top, bottom, sides--you name it. The quality is absolutely unacceptable. If these cabinets can't withstand basic, minimal cleaning, the owner should have been honest from the start. I would have gladly paid more upfront instead of now facing the cost of replacing my entire kitchen. This company is interested only in making a sale, not in providing a product that lasts. Save yourself the headache. Do not support this business. You get what you pay for--and in this case, what you get is complete garbage.

I wanted one thing with cabinets changed and they came out same day and changed for me! Matt was over often during the work, explaining what came next. A lot of work behind the scenes to keep things moving smoothly. A few blips, mostly with walls not being squared, or plumbing lines wonky, but adjustments were made, and we stayed close to budget.
