I took my 2008 Lexus RX350 that had recently passed safety by two different mechanics. I had a…read morenoise coming from the rear passenger side. I took it into Total Auto Service for repair. Their mechanic diagnosed the noise as two faulty struts and two faulty rear sway bar links. For $1300 they replaced the parts and the exact same problem was there. All they did was replace parts in hopes it fixed the problem. When they said there was still a noise they were right. It was the same noise when k brought it in. I took it into another mechanic and they diagnosed it as axles and wheel bearing hubs. When I contacted them, I received excuse after excuse and you could tell from the outset they are the type of business where they throw parts at problems and hope it fixes the issue. They also were completely unprofessional as even through you had proof of the mistake and misdiagnosis they had no intentions of making the situation right. There attitude is such that they could care less about mistakes. In fact, when cornered with evidence of the mistake they pulled the harassment card. Apparently complaining about a mistake constitutes harassment. They also mentioned the mechanic was on "sick leave". This may be true but how convenient! If you want a mechanic that stands by their mechanics and their work than buyer beware. Fortunately I am pursuing other options to get my money back and file associated complaints with regulatory authorities. It has now become more a point of the matter. Never do business with a company not willing to resolve a matter.

When I got home and looked at the invoice they hadn't done the drive clean. I called them up and they didn't even apologize but instead seemed annoyed that I called them. I just got the test done elsewhere. Today, August 28, 2018 at odometer reading 105,259 I took our car into another garage to have the oil changed. The dip stick was dry! When the drained the oil only a few drops came out.The car is not leaking or burning oil. Obviously, DM failed to put anywhere near the correct amount of oil in back in April. Not only are the DM people (Dave Vollmer & Vince Legault & staff) rude and unprofessional, they are incompetent.

The images posted in the link are after a return visit with a list of outstanding issues after 3 on site reviews as the car was being completed. $7200.00 prepaid and 4 months in his shop is a ridiculous amount of time to wait to get this type of result, not even to mention to complete unprofessionalism by Andre, the countless excuses and the several extensions he asked for ALONG with his complete admission of fault, and agreement with everything I stated and promise to correct, which he never did and damage was sustained to the vehicle while in the possession of Dres Auto Detailing Inc. Its took 4 months of BS with this vendor to get me to the point I flipped out, and called him out on everything on April the 1st, and then days later he asked me to come in on the 18th to have the issues corrected, which I did and upon pick up from several issues outstanding along with him rushing to finish the A pillar, which he cut the rubber while trimming the vinyl.
