German butchery serves fresh sandwiches/pastries, a good selection of small goods and good coffee at prices that is almost unheard of. What makes this place really special for me is that it is unpretentious and simple. There's no super Bircher with Himalayan berries or kale and activated almonds salad here. Just simple german deli food at its carb-y, processed best. This is a real deal local deli-cafe in the 'burbs. You can turn up hungover with last night's make up still on or after an actual run in the morning without freshening up first, you'll feel perfectly comfortable there and ladies will make you feel instantly better with caffeine and sugary/salty goodness. read more

One word. PRETZELS. The pretzels and pastries here are spot on. Toby's Estate is the coffee of choice here, which is rad but it's the friendly service and reasonable prices that really makes this place sing. If small goods are your thing, you'll have a field day, they have a pretty extensive range of deli items as well as some hard to find condiments and sweets from Germany. It's a firm fave for a quick and relatively cheap escape for caffeine and pastry! read more

Hot sausage, mustard and sauce in a bun, freshly heated. Very yummy lunch. Have also have bought several types of sausages, some ham and salami. All excellent. Friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere out of the traffic noise. Great parking and also close to Bexley North Train Station and shops. read more

We took home an array of meats at the suggestion of the owner (name escapes me). There was some amazing stuff in there and I have to say for a cynical old geezer, who'd rather drown a puppy than compliment his mother on her birthday, I was mildly to slightly more than mildly impressed. Go in, let the staff take you on a journey, buy a pretzel, eat a sandwich, ring your brother and invite him over for scrabble, think about who you'll vote for in the next general election and enjoy. My favorite was the colorful one with, let's say peppers in it. I also like the dark salty one and the baked ham thing. I'll do my research on the next review. read more

After a successful career in the European meat industry we, Kati and Tino decided to bring top quality products to NSW and open our own small goods factory in Sydney. Our new factory is located at Mona Vale, NSW, the northern beaches of Sydney. The site is designed and fitted to the highest food safety and workplace standards. We produce five days a week and supply clients in hospitality and food wholesale. We are your continental small-goods specialist. We are the experts in German & Continental small-goods and meat products made the traditional way, the way it should be! David is my name and afternoon coffee is my game. I go here just about every afternoon (rain, hail or shine) for my afternoon coffee and on occasion cake (they have a cheesecake at the moment that is to die for). In the colder months, these lovely people sell pork knuckle, of which I am a huge fan. There's a large array of some of the best meats you'll find and their lunch menu is awesome (try the hotdog!).
