Took over a month of nagging, threat of a lawsuit, filing a complaint with the BBB, AG, and a dispute with the credit card company to get my refund. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS! They were also keeping multiple kangaroos in the office and letting them defecate all over the floor. It smelled horrible! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE AUTO CLINIC IN JONESBORO SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!!! We dropped our car off at The Auto Clinic in September 2024. It is now a year and a half later, and they still have our vehicle. If any employee would like to argue these claims, I have extensive proof. We are desperate for a car that we are STILL making payments on. Multiple phone calls and in person conversations fill in the gaps in messages. We call every single day and are fed excuse after excuse. We've been given countless false promises, all of which I have voice recordings of. I also have text messages and documentation to back up every single claim I am making here. They claimed to have performed repairs we did NOT authorize, as it went in for engine work, and demanded half of the payment up front. We paid them $2400 -- yet they still refuse to return our car. After the car was dropped off, they were helpful. We dealt with supplemental insurance obstacles, as well as shortage of supplies and staff in the beginning, which we were more than patient and understanding at the time. We gave grace since it was around Thanksgiving and Christmas time. We expressed that I was pregnant and we needed our second vehicle, so we trusted that they would do the right thing and get the work done as promised. January 2025 - April 2025, I was promised several times after being told there were deaths in the family, short staffing, hospitalizations, that the car would be done by Easter. At that time, I asked if I could split the remaining balance into two 2 payments, one week apart. They said that's fine. I asked if that would put the project on the back burner, to which he responded "no" to. I have this in a voice recording as well. In September 2025, out of desperation, I posted a google review and Jonathan, the owner, texted after business hours saying if I take it down, he will cover the remaining cost. He then promised again that it would be ready the following week. I took it down. To make things worse, in October 2025, they admitted they LOST THE KEYS to our car. They allowed an employee to take it home, and the employee has since been fired. They claim, to this day, that they will "get around to programming a new set." We have been lied to, manipulated, and treated like this situation is a joke. The owner, Jonathan, avoids us, refuses to communicate directly, and has even laughed at our situation while we are without our vehicle for well over a year, a vehicle we are still making payments on. The front desk workers lie for him saying he is out running errands. Then, two minutes later, you see him walk out of the office to the back. He will not speak to us. My husband had to spend all day Monday, 1/12, at the shop waiting for them to tow it to Ford like they promised in order to get the keys programmed that were lost by the shop last OCTOBER. He was told that Ford was coming to get it. My husband called Ford, and they had heard nothing of it. It was finally towed around 1:30pm because my husband refused to leave until a tow was called in front of him. Ford has since told us that none of the repairs have been completed that were promised. We are back at square one with a business who lies and an owner who will not speak to us. 1/15 - The Auto Clinic has since come and picked the car up from Ford without telling us that it is back in their possession. THE CAR HAS NOT HAD ANY REPAIRS DONE AND THE MOTOR IS USED. The Auto Clinic still has our car. This has caused incredible stress, financial strain, and emotional exhaustion. I strongly advise against using Auto Clinic of Jonesboro. I brought my SUV in with transmission problems, and they kept it for months. After claiming it was fixed, the vehicle still wasn't driving right. I brought it back a second and third time--they eventually said it was a camshaft issue, but even after that, the SUV couldn't pick up speed when I pressed the gas pedal. It turns out they put in a defective transmission. After all that time and money, I had no choice but to get rid of the SUV. I'm now without a vehicle, out of money, and still paying for repairs that never fixed the issue. Worse, when I tried to address it, I was met with threats instead of solutions. Their customer service is just as bad as their mechanical work. People need to know the truth about this place. They priced me around 3k bucks to fix a headlight and charged me upfront. They Spent all the money I paid them on the wrong part, then tried to charge me AGAIN except this time it was 4k Kept my car for 12 months while refusing a refund. So, they had my car, no money, and the wrong part. Cracked my windshield while storing (no offer to fix it or acknowledgement after pointing it out). Left all tires deflated for the entire time causing flat spots and dry rot, really just neglected it in general. Also Super unprofessional, literally had to beg them for updates for the entire year they held my car captive. The bottom line is this, they priced me at the very start and said they could do it for that price. 12 months later (of having no car and barely making it by) they spent all the money and didn't fix the part, while also trying to RECHARGE me for something they never fixed in the first place, all because "they couldn't get their money back for the part". As if it's my fault they got the wrong part. Not to mention everything else. JUST GO TO MEMPHIS OR LITTLE ROCK, SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I would have left a 0 if that was available. My car blew a radiator hose and I had it towed to this shop. They did a diagnostic test (claimed) and told me my car needed 9,000 worth of repairs. That was a complete scam my car only had 33,000 miles on it and had been checked the week before. Then they charged me 516 dollar's for a diagnostic that I didn't approve. Then wouldn't give me my car until I paid the 516 and was going to add a additional 45. a day for it being there. I towed my car to another shop and everything this shop told me was a lie. Please folk's check BBB and Yelp before trusting these people with anything. Also after a lot of leg work we did figure out that the Attorney general is where to start with this scam. I've taken my car to them over and over and each time my car comes back worst. The estimate price is unreasonable given how the problem is never fix. My vehicle is out of commission. My warranty company went on and cover thousands of dollars worth of stuff and it seems like it was for nothing, because they mess it up. I'm not sure if they know what they are doing. The business looks professional and nice, but the labor isn't good. I feel like I was fooled thinking they were good and knowledgeable with European cars. I have a vehicle that had an issue and they diagnosed it as needing an engine. They gave me an option to purchase a new engine or they could rebuild it. I asked how long the rebuild would take and the owner told me "up to a couple months". I agreed to go the rebuild route. They asked for half of the payment down to order parts so I wrote them a check for $6800 on May 24. It has now been 22 weeks. I finally had to buy another vehicle so my wife would have a means of transportation to get to work. I have made five payments on the vehicle since it has sat on their lot. I keep getting the runaround on when the vehicle will be fixed. Every time I stop and talk to them it's always next week. It's like the Groundhog Day movie. Next week never comes comes. I have only spoke to the owner and mechanic four times since my vehicles been there. He keeps avoiding me. All the communication has been through his secretary named Janice. I took my car to German Motorworks in Jonesboro AR to get an STS turbo kit installed. They cost me over $8000 in parts and labor, kept thee car for 6 months, put over 800 miles on the odometer, ruined one of the rear tires (the tires had less than 1000 miles on them when I took the car to them), drained the oil, cut up the exhaust, drained the battery, bent the hood, and scratched the paint to the extent of a nearly $1000 paint repair bill. The turbo kit was NEVER INSTALLED and I had to get the police involved to get may car back. I had to have it towed home. It took me 2 full days and several hundred dollars to get it back together and running again. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESES CROOKS!!! read more

Do not take your classic or high performance car here. My comment very much is almost the same as the ones below. I had my 1981 Porsche sent to them for basic things that were due to be done. It was going to be a Christmas present and I was "promised" no problem with the time frame. Also promised I would get updates and pictures. They missed the 15th December deadline, no real reason, then the Dec 27 and the January one and so on, latest being an April 19th, would be done and delivered) came went no call or mail. Everything I have been told I believe to be lies. They are 5 months behind and I do not believe have the knowledge to work on any German or the cars they say they are experts on. Most emails are ignored and calls as well. I am writing this so others do not go through the extreme stress this scam shop, in my opinion will put you through. I could go on about the many lies and total lack of integrity they have told me and I believe. I have filed complaints with proof to the BBB who are now on their 2nd contact with the owner J. Hewitt to try and solve this. As well I have filed the same complaint with the Arkansas Attorney General who is reviewing it now. We are not rich people just had a dream in these bad times and thought this would be an ok shop. It is far from that. By the way they were quick to ask for payment and I sent back in December. march 2022 I took my mini cooper to german motorworks, BAD MISTAKE!!! My car would run drive but had issue with brake lights coming on and running battery down. may 2 2022 I have a voicemail says it would be done by friday then I get a phone call telling me he shorted something in the dash and there would be no charge to fix what they shorted out in the dash. they said they sent my parts off for repair, got them back and over nighted them back because something was wrong. the parts were never seen again even though they kept telling me for the coming months that they were out for delivery. they told me I couldn't come get the car from them unless I paid the full amount of the estimate. I wanted to get it because I had figured out I had took my car to the WRONG PLACE!!! I contacted the attorney general which inturn contacted them and their policy seemed to have changed. I could get my car at any time, NO CHARGE!!! Finally a week and a half before march 3 2023 they told me my car would be done a week and a half I told them I would come get it either way and that I would contact them on the thursday before march 3 to know if I needed to bring trailer or someone to drive it. they contacted me the 3rd said they had worked on it and wanted me to give them till monday he had worked the night before trying to get it done, (LIE). that if my car wasnt done by monday they would tow it where ever I wanted. Monday morning I looked My car was sitting in a corner with junk piled all around it and you could tell it hadn't been touched in months!!!!!!!
