I was there 2-3 times a week for about 3 months. They started charging/billing more for my visits without ever telling me that when I was there paying the same old amount they asked for. I never received a bill while I was going to sessions. However, a month after I stopped going I received a hefty bill. When I asked for more detailed information, I was sent a spreadsheet with random amounts paid (not what I actually paid each visit). I'm in my 50s and have two adult children. I have been to a lot of doctors and have never experienced anything like this. I played phone tag with the billing, spent hours trying to figure out why my visits increased in price when all the codes were the same. The billing department didn't help much. Every now and then I received a text from Jamie, the office manager. I responded twice with great detail about my frustration with the bill. I never received a response from her.

Today, two months later; I did three loads of laundry with a front loader, carried the full bags upstairs myself, lifted five metal pots at once from the back of the bottom shelf to the counter in order to get to the one on the bottom, and cooked three recipes for Friendsgiving that required heavy lifting. One of those recipes was my goal recipe--the most physically intensive one I have and the one that Matt and Justin set as my goal. I am nearly back to 100%, and it's all thanks to these guys. In fairness they could have reached out to us and said we know you are making your monthly payments but we need a certain amount to be paid of the balance to keep it going to the debt collector. Very poor on ATI's part in the way they handled this. We will not be returning to ATI and want to make people aware of their billing departments poor handling of this situation! Also ATI sent the wrong amount that was due to the debt collector. We had a credit coming to us and they did not apply that to the final balance due! Be aware and find another PT facility for your needs!

I am retired and on Medicare/Medicaid I would have gone to another facility that did cover my visits. luckily I contacted Covid so my therapy was delayed that's when I received the bill for my first visit, then I received the second bill with additional charges for the second visit. Thank God I stopped because I was supposed to go for 6 visits. The cost to me would have been over $700. Go some where else. No facility is worth paying these outrageous charges.
