They charge $5k NONREFUNDABLE to hold your RV and they don't even have the RV on the property to see. I did buy a class A here off of consignment in '18 and that sale went fine. Oh, but the follow-up service as worse than a joke without remedy and a big scratch during their driving on their lot to the service area. These guys suck in every department. Since then I tried to shop here in my neighborhood but I was screwed with and the dishonesty here is sickening and so obvious, so I bought the next class B in Gainesville. On the drive home my husband noticed it was out of alignment and an issue with the brakes. When he would brake it would thump. During his drive the whole vehicle shook. He immediately called the dealership and was told to bring it to the mechanic they use,So he dropped it off. Friday May 10 we went all day without hearing a word from your dealership or the mechanic. Finally at 2pm my husband called the mechanic and was told that they still hadn't gotten permission from you guys to go ahead with the repairs. They explained the brakes and rotors were completely warped, the alignment was off, all 6 tires were out of balance and one had a screw in it. My husband then had to call your dealership and got transferred to 3 different people till he could get someone to approve the repairs. I find it extremely concerning that I bought a BRAND NEW RV that has this many issues right from the lot. I also find it hard to believe anyone from your dealership did a test drive. If they did they were either completely incompetent or negligent. As of Monday May 13 we didn't hear anything until 4:48pm when the service director made our sales man aware of the issues. So not one person reached out to us till then. Wednesday May 15 we still do not have our RV back and fixed. Monday they were waiting on parts, Tuesday a tool broke and today they still don't have what they need. I have tried to be patient and understanding. You're dealership has repeatedly dropped the ball over and over again Thursday May 16 I have only heard back from the service director up until my emails yesterday nobody has reached out. How is any of this acceptable? I still have yet to hear back from the sales director. Fixing this at no cost to us is a no brainer (the service director thinks that because they are fixing it all is ok. When the real issue is I should have never been sold a BRAND NEW RV with this many problems. My norcold frig stopped working. Freezer froze but fridge ..nada. The state park said there was rv world near them. I called, got transferred and on 2nd ring Shane answers. This is a really bad dealer that you dont want to do business with. I bought a brand new motor home. We found it 90k cheaper the next week. They said sorry for your luck. Well ok, Thats my fault. I took it in to have 22 issues fixed. After two months they called me and asked me to come get it. Everything was supposed to be fixed. 2 out of the 22 were fixed. I am talking about the drivers seat not functioning at all. A leak under the shower. The black water system leaking, the vinyl on the ceiling delaminating, windshield wiper flying off because it traveled too far. After two months I just started fixing everything myself. Patty is sweet but she wont get anything done. A lawyer offered to take the case but I decided it was not worth all the bad feelings. Listen do not go to Gerzeny. Brought Class C in for 3 items on June 20th. Today Aug 12 just got unit back. Lousy customer service. Don't return calls often, what was wrong kept changing. As a Veteran I would strongly recommend you stay away from them for any repair/warranty work. When you get you unit back is anyone's guess. I will never NEVER did I mention NEVER EVER, buy another vehicle from them or as they are also known as RV World. Gerzeny's RV World, Nokomis: Purchased a new $100,000 cash motorhome at this dealer on 12-30-24. It had some problems which we were assured would be corrected on the first warrantee service visit. It was taken to Gerzeny's on 2-26-25 with the list of problems noted at purchase time along with some that were discovered (roof leaks in 4 places and 1 outside storage leak and storage door closure problem, AC/H did not work, missing component pieces (leg of portable table, cup holder). It has been over one month at the dealer, doing what, obviously nothing, and we have been unable to get a date for solution to the problems. This is very unacceptable. For that much of an investment, we do not even have a motorhome that we can use for travel. Giving one star rating because that is the least you can give. Can't say enough good about this place! We used the Nokomis one! Nancy was our go to person and she did an awesome job letting us know how this was all going to work. We made an appointment and it was about two months out, but so is everybody else. We dropped our trailer off the day we were supposed to and not long after had the trailer back! There were several things wrong with it, at least five. They fixed everyone of them and we can't wait to get back on the road and enjoy more journeys in our beautiful trailer! If you are in the market for an RV, take my advice from hard lessons learned. Brand new RV's are gorgeous and the sales staff will do their best the reel you in and close the deal. Please, Please, Please - before you close that deal, do your due diligence and investigate every aspect of the dealership - especially Service. Your new RV will undoubtedly have some warranty issues that will need to be addressed AFTER the sale. You do not want to do business with a dealer that will hang you out to dry after the sale. I learned the hard way that some dealers may look big and impressive but service after the sale isn't even an afterthought, it's non-existent. Well, my friends, I can't tell you enough what a great experience I had at their Service Department. Lance checked me in and from the moment I walked in to the moment I picked my coach up yesterday, I felt like a valued customer. We had an idea of another Class B RV when we went to Gerzeney's but we gave C.J. a description of they type of RV we wanted and how we expected to use it he directed us to the Thor Sequence 20A which had a layout that perfectly met our needs. Since we had not done research on the Sequence we told C.J. we were not ready to buy. No high pressure he wanted us to be sure about our purchase. We went back the next day and purchased the RV. Very bad dealership. Avoid at all cost. Only wants money n don't care for their customers. Cheated with warranty money too. And lots of other bad things happened which will be listed shortly. I thought after paying $80,000 they would care for their customers but they don't give a damm so once u are out of the parking lot the RV is yours. Also looks like after someone gives them 1 Star than they have their own team maybe writing lots of good reviews for them and it seems like their own management staff replying to 5 star reviews as owner to make it look more real. Because frankly I did not see anything good there except that they rush you to go to the bank to pay them lots of cash money to buy the RV n force u to buy the warranty too which don't cover much n on top of it u pay extra. I took my 2019 Coachmen Sportscoach in for warranty repairs in July 2020. As of today it's still not finished. Parts delay and personal shortages and the fact they seem to have an abundance of repairs ongoing. Dec 31st is its birthday all told more than half of the time it's been in for repairs. The website is outdated if you're looking trailer or RV probably the best way will visit them. The reason they do not have a good color cameras lol! Bought an LTV Unity MB from Gerzeny's in Nokomis, FL by assuming a contract with a $5000 deposit written by a previous customer that could not wait delivery due to manufacturing issues. Was told due in by end of year 2021 which went to April 2022 and now not till end of 2022 which will probably by a 2023 model. In spite of this initial contract from June 2020 will not deliver for probably 28 months they still refuse to refund my deposit as I cannot wait that long either. I would choose another dealership as you cannot trust a word they say!! They are only Leisure Travel Van dealer within 500 miles and I would avoid both Gerzeny's and LTV!! read more

Weird exchange with the person at the desk when we walked into the show room. She seemed rather annoyed that all we wanted to do was see what the latest models were. She pushed a button and a slouchy sales man came shuffling lazily out of the back. We exited before we had to endure an introduction with him. We went to the parts department to look for some latches for our RV cabinet and got fairly good service. The checkout system is really bizarre however. The sales person writes up a slip for what you are buying then you take that slip and your purchase and walk to the end of the store where there's a counter and a person that does it again but hand you a bigger slip with the receipt after your purchase. read more

It is unfortunate that we had been forced to deal with them because we bought a Coachhouse RV that turns out is related to this operation. Coachhouse was extremely professional and I have to admit that they did a great job on making sure the coach was ready for delivery when we arrived from Texas. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE / NO QUALITY CONTROL / SUBPAR WORKMANSHIP - This is my second purchase from RV World (I think first purchase was prior to Gerzeny's coming onboard?) and I have had nothing but issues that range from being mislead at time of purchase at the Bradenton location to receiving subpar workmanship and just POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE at the Fort Myers location. (seems to be a pattern in the reviews) I was mislead at the time of purchase as to what options were installed in my RV, I guess shame on me for that or so that is the way they acted when it was brought to the "HEAD" Sales Manager's attention out of the Nakomis location (at the same time I spoke to and included someone with the last name of Gerzeny's (Chris?) in the emails and to this day have never even responded to or reached out to me) . At that time he told me that it was NOT out of the ordinary for this to happen and I feel if that is the norm I should of been contacted when it was discovered that MY camper had been sold to others! I had signed a Build Sheet to secure a specific camper and at time of purchase the camper's VIN or Mileage didn't match what I signed weeks prior with no explanation from my Sales Manager other than it must of been sold to someone else. What also did not sit well was the Service Tech (Bubba?) even made comments during the walk through that he "has never seen a Class C that was this stripped with so few options installed. "BAIT AND SWITCH" (I see this same thing in other reviews on this page) OK, now I needed to have a couple of items addressed under warranty, I choose to use the Fort Myers location due to it being the closest to my home. The first visit was very disappointing due to the fact there was no follow-up or communication after several messages and emails to my Service Advisor for status updates. After finally speaking to him of course parts needed to be ordered, which they did. After a few weeks I called because I had not heard anything only to get an email from another Service Advisor (Cassidy) stating she would now be taking care of my repairs because the original Service Advisor no longer works for Gerzeny's (hopefully due to his poor performance) Once the parts arrived I was able to schedule a service appointment so the repairs could be completed. The items that were to be addressed either were not completed or completed poorly. Dinette Window - Not addressed on 1st visit, I asked to have it looked at on second visit only to have it rattle and open twice on my trip home. NOT FIXED Taillights - replaced due to water intrusion, took no time to make neat, wires visibly hanging out from bottom of camper - POOR WORKMANSHIP / NO QUALITY CONTROL Replace part of rear decal - did not install in same location, can see outline of old decal in dirt, which means it was installed over dirt - POOR WORKMANSHIP I took photos of my concerns and emailed my Service Advisor and the Service Manager (Steve Irons) which his response to me stated he wanted to apologize for what "APPEARS" to be poor workmanship, really? After a few email exchanges he just excused me and wished me "luck in the future." I have 30+ years in a Customer Service Manager roll in the hospitality and healthcare industries and this is no-way to treat anyone that has an issue with the service you provide or the products you sell, especially when it is brought to your attention. i purchased a 2023 Thor Sanctuary 19p from the Bradenton Gerzeny's and had to have some Warrenty work completed. the only good thing about Gerzeny's is the Bradenton manager DJ. Otherwise I would not send my worst enemy to them. I have especially for any Warrenty work or simple fixes. they are NOT a family dealership and they do not even offer halfway decent customer service. I have gone the the Bradenton dealership where Larry, the service manager, seems to try to make everything difficult. I tried the Nokomis dealership as that is where their headquarters is located. I had to take my RV back 2 to 3 times as they either did not do the work correctly or the ordered the wrong part. While they were working on one part of the RV the broke a vent. My advisor, Denise, ordered the wrong part and will now not return my calls. My wife spoke with the GM and even he did not seem to care. AVOID GERZENY's, they also go by RV world. This is the very worst experience. I have ever had. I was stupid enough not to learn my lesson the first time and had purchased one on consignments from them and then traded that in for a newer RV.
