One had an attitude, maybe just had a bad day. It was clear that she was annoyed & she didn't want to be there as she kept dissapearing. The other I didn't even know was helping us until the end during the splash paint because I saw her for maybe 10 minutes in the 2 hrs we were there. I've booked parties 5 years now & the girls always help cut cake, pass out cake, ask if kids want a drink, if they want pizza, take their trash when they're done, assist with opening presents, ask if I need help with anything etc & I was surprised none of that was offered. The one girl who was with us the majority of the time didn't say our time was ending. I had kept stressing to her even in the beginning of the party that I just wanted to make sure we had time to do the cake throughout the event. I was ok not opening presents or passing out pizza but I wanted them to sing happy birthday & the kids all get cake. I didn't have time to look at my phone to see the time because I was helping all the kids in the party. The owner came in to let me know that our time was over, the girl didn't say it's over she just left the room. She told us that if we weren't out in 15 minutes that they would charge another 30 minutes add on, so we did that. I feel had the staff made aware the time or asssisted with the things listed above like previous locations have done I wouldn't have been behind. In the splash paint room my daughter was initially separated from her two friends, I asked them to keep those 3 kids together & divide the rest however they wanted. It was her birthday, the two girls were her friends & the rest were older kids. The one girl was frustrated with that. I was surprised that neither of the girls came in the room as they were doing it to help them get the paint. I went in to explain to my daughter who was turning 6 how to do it & ended up staying inside because they needed help. The girl who came at the end was very sweet with them I will say that but she wasn't really there. I don't know if she was assisting people in the front of the building but I just was shocked that they weren't helping inside as it was going on. It was very rushed because of the activities booked but all of the kids had fun. I think if they had more management things would flow better because it was a cute party, the building is beautiful, the kids all enjoyed the activities they did it just was lacking direction & asssitance.

As someone who loves to work out at recreation centers and…read morehas been to many throughout her life, this one takes the cake as one of the cleanest, most modern, and largest. It has an indoor fitness pool, an outdoor pool (looks like mostly designed for families with kids), an ice skating rink, a huge weight lifting and cardio machine area, multiple group fitness rooms, and a full-sized basketball court (that they use temporary drapes to turn into multiple courts for pickelball or pick-up basketball). There's probably more I'm missing. I've never actually walked through the entire place. They have a ton of community and fitness programming for the area. From 8 to noon then 4 to 9 most evenings, they have different fitness classes going on. They aren't just your basics either. They have enough TRX bands to support TRX classes or some of their strength-based classes use workout areas they've had installed. They have lots of spinning bikes and classes the support them. I've never actually encountered any machine or part of the fitness center that didn't work. Everything is well-maintained, and I've never even encountered an empty cleaning spray bottle before. The biggest "issue" I've had is when the water tastes a bit off because the red-light says the filter needs to be replaced on the water fountain. Prices aren't cheap, but they aren't expensive either. When a yoga class elsewhere will cost me $40, it's only $11 here at Kettering. If you get one of their multi-class passes or a membership, it's even cheaper on a per-class basis. They have lots of kids camps and kids activities including some homeschooling group play classes and more. I haven't paid much attention to the kid things, but I know they have some! Great spread of bodies and ages here too. You'll mostly see older adults, and it's really refreshing to see a ton of different types of people instead of the college-aged adults. Everyone here is super friendly, and it's clear a lot of the community uses this place as a great place to see and hang out with friends while staying active. Huge parking lot, but if there's a lot going on (like a kid's hockey meet), there have been a few times I've been unable to find a single parking spot in this beast of a parking lot. Bathrooms are clean too.

I expected and received a phone call on the first day. I discussed with the counselor what coping skills worked best with her. On the fourth day of camp, I received a call saying that she has attempted to assault a counselor. I rushed in to discover that she had been crying, wanting to come home and had just been told "no. You have to participate with the rest of the kids." I was told by the counselor that she had been wheezing all day, and vomiting. When she went to hug the counselor (counselor told me herself that she opened her arms to invite her in for a hug) for some comfort, she was mouth breathing at this time as nothing was done about her asthma even with an air quality alert. They accused her of attempting to bite and refused to allow her to finish the last day of camp. There are 3 times they should have called me before this moment, 2 of which were medical emergencies and could have resulted in hospital visits. I made the mistake of thinking that because they call themselves "Christian based" that my seven year old would be treated with love and kept safe. Instead she was out into a dangerous situation and then criticized and accused of things she never did.

During this, I couldn't see anything and was sexually assaulted by multiple people. All I could do was swat the hands off of me. We were told to be completely silent under the house because it was a scene where the police asked the people living there if they had seen any escaped slaves. It was the perfect storm to sexually assault somebody and nobody will ever know who did it. I was 13. I feel like my teachers and the employees failed me. I'm 26 now and I've carried it with me all of these years. If they are still doing these field trips, I really hope they added a light under the house, even if it's dim lights so that you can see what's happening around you, or cancelled that part altogether. I hope it hasn't happened to other little girls.

Season should be starting Saturday sept 5th. It's been postponed to sept 13th. But some teams will have games Saturday the 5th. I have 2 kids and have no schedule for either kids team. How am I supposed to schedule life if they can't get me a schedule and not make last minute changes?!? If the refs are as bad this year as last it's going down. U4 games should last 30 mins max. One of our daughters last over an hour because the ref couldn't keep track of time! Hire people who know how to use a stopwatch or tell time. I left the sports director a voicemail and I've still not gotten a call back. They do not prioritize timeliness. Practice schedules went out the week before they started. It's no surprise the teams barely have 9 players each. Parents don't want the bullcrap.

I am a VERY skeptical person and I do not let my children to go to with strangers overnight anywhere. His teacher convinced me to let him go the first year. Last year he came back raving about the camp and asking to go to summer camp there. We weren't able to pull it off. But, after hearing his excitement I had no problem letting him go this year and tagged along. Impressed is an understatement and all of my concerns were calmed. The amazing staff made everything an adventure and kept the children smiling and happy. I don't think the kids realize how much they learned. He wants to go to summer camp this year and I will be letting him go. His sisters too (if they want). This is an excellent place and I can see it being part of his future beyond one summer.

While my baby was crying because she was hungry, I began breastfeeding her. An assistant manager approached me and told me that I could not breastfeed in the area and that I needed to take my baby into the family restroom because Nova Jump Park is a "family-oriented establishment" and breastfeeding was making other guests and staff uncomfortable. I asked specifically if this was a written policy. He told me that it was NOT a written policy and that it was simply what they "would like" because customers and staff were uncomfortable. I was shocked. I was simply feeding my hungry infant, and I was not exposing myself or doing anything inappropriate. Telling a mother that she needs to breastfeed her baby in a restroom because other people are uncomfortable is completely unacceptable. Ohio law specifically protects a mother's right to breastfeed her baby in any location of a place of public accommodation where she is otherwise permitted to be. I should never have been approached and told to leave the area simply because someone else was uncomfortable with me feeding my child. Calling yourselves a "family-oriented establishment" makes this experience even more disappointing. Families include breastfeeding mothers and infants. A family-friendly business should make parents feel welcome and supported, not embarrassed or pressured to hide while feeding their babies. I hope management addresses this situation and makes sure employees understand both Ohio law and how breastfeeding families should be treated. No mother should have to choose between feeding her hungry baby and making other people "comfortable." I will be taking my business elsewhere
