When the time came to begin work, the crew (Uriel and brother, Rolando, along with father, Vincent, and friend of the family, Gerardo), showed up on time and prepared to work -- hard. When met with unexpected events, the crew stayed calm and dedicated to the tasks at hand. When a large and aged, rotting tree collapsed as thick vines were cut away, they brought in a chainsaw and got to work clearing the back quarter of our yard and fence line. The guys built the gates to match the rustic style of the split rail fence and cleaned up nicely. Now a cumbersome and time-consuming system is in place, and the customer has to go through all the button pushing to talk to customer service in Charlotte, relay all the info in question to a different person every time if more than a single question needs answering. Michael & Son, a company I've used for YEARS, had always seemed family owned. Not anymore. The business model appears to have changed and not for the better.
