I have been slowly thinking about working out again however what usually happens is I go 100 mph and go all out and burn myself out and then quit. Ashley the owner was very understanding and welcoming and Casey who ended up being my personal trainer for a few sessions eased me into it. Its only my 3rd week and the 1st didn't really count cause I end up getting covid (not from the gym) and only went once. However, they have helped me with the lifestyle change and have answered any questions. Very friendly staff and a family friendly vibe which is great. After months of saying that I need to get off of my butt and join a gym, I finally took the time to visit and talk to multiple locations within my area. And what I found was that while they all offer classes, weights, machines, etc, what really sets one gym apart from another are the people involved. In the ten months since I have joined Get Fit I have been able go work with all of their trainers in each of the classes that they offer. While each of them have their own style, they all carry the same philosophy of making the experience one that makes me feel like a welcomed member of their "Gym Family" (this includes the other members who are just as supportive to each other as the trainers). They do an amazing job of mixing up they types of workouts that we do each day. So not only is each class different from the next, but you can also be assured to get a total body workout every time you show up. I have enjoyed my experience so much that I even signed my 14 year old twins up for the teen's classes. It's a debate between them and I as to who loves it more! read more

Very disappointed in this location. I was a loyal member since January & was out since 6/30/23 with mayor surgery & I realized a few days ago my credit card was charged without my authorization for a one month membership while my membership was still on hold (placed on hold til doctor gave me ok to go back). Upon contacting the owner she replies with one vague email and will not respond to what will happen with the 2 weeks of classes I left pre-paid in June. To my understanding I was supposed to pick-up where I left off with my membership & would make-up the pre-paid classes upon my return from my surgery. To make a long story short. I was charged a total of 21 days that the owner will not take responsibility for & will not refund me or let me make up. DO NOT leave your credit card on file or turn on any sort of auto-pay at this location. And if you have to take a leave make sure everything is in writing & do not pre-pay for services because if you have to have mayor surgery like I did and need to be out for almost 2 months the owner will keep your payment and not allow you to take the classes you already paid for when you return. I never do this; I am the most humble & laid-back person at this gym, but I want to speak up so no one else gets charged and not receive services. I have all the emails asking for a refund or for services to be rendered and they went ignored. I am a single mom of 3, I do not have money growing on trees and the membership is not cheap! I was warned about the owner previously & some shady practices, but I still gave this gym the benefit of the doubt as they had the evening schedule I needed so I still signed up. Wish I would've listened & now I have to fight to get my money back & had to cancel my 2 credit cards on file at this place. I must say coaches Vicky & Amanda are totally awesome & I will miss them dearly! I missed training with them those 7 & 1/2 weeks more than I miss the organs that were removed from my body (my friends can attest to me saying this, lol). All the members are also awesome, I will miss everyone, but I cannot stay quiet about this unfair situation ($208.50 may be pocket change to some, but not to me when I have 3 children to feed). The gym was the best way for me to stay sane & healthy for them & I refuse to leave my hard-earned money on the table. To resume, do not pre-pay for services and DO NOT leave your credit on file! I have all the proof of me asking for a refund or asking to receive the training I paid for & being totally ignored. Hopefully this can help others so they don't have the same experience. read more

About 8 months ago I decided that I needed to focus on me and my health. I walked into GetFit and felt that this was the place for me instantly. I hadn't worked out in years and Ashley made me feel comfortable and confident that I could do this. I started with the 6-week ramp up program and haven't stopped since. The trainers, coaches, and members are genuine, encouraging, and motivating. I came in thinking, if I can get to the gym three times a week I'll be good. I now go to the gym 5-6 times a week and am disappointed when I can't get there. The personal training keeps me accountable and the classes keep it new and fresh every time I come in. I have become stronger and healthier both physically and mentally. If you are looking for a place to improve your health, have fun and be a part of a "family", then this is the place for you! I went here to "get fit" and all that happened was I got hurt. I worked with trainer Ashely and she pushed me too hard during a workout, I'm elderly and she was having me do too many circuits in a row. There's no plan to the workouts they give you. I ended up tearing my shoulder when I repeatedly told her I need a break. Completely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more
