Wander in and you could be getting big bags of liquorice allsorts for €1, 2 bags of Minstrels for €2.50 or other sugary bargains. They also tend to get in random unusual sweet things-picked up white chocolate covered Oreos in there which are much nicer than the regular ones. I wouldn't go there just for those particular Oreos though. They are all in my tummy! There's also a post-office in the shop and a small off-licence section. What more could you need?

The CoCo Markets are held every Wednesday in the middle of the IFSC (Dublin's business district). They provide the busy finance types with the perfect opportunity to do some speedy lunchtime gift shopping or to try something a little different for lunch. Most of the stalls in this market are food-related (what a surprise - this market is a lunchtime affair) and include options such as falafel, asian noodles, curries and paellas. The queue for paella yesterday was phenomenal! Meals tend to be around the 5 euro mark, which is what you'd pay for a sambo in one of the nearby cafes anyway. This is a great idea and fingers crossed it will be really successful with the suits.

There are constantly long queues at the checkout. Usually only one register is open with a huge line of people waiting. Sometimes there are two, but only when it's extremely busy. The staff often seem gloomy and unwelcoming, and the whole place looks messy and unpleasant. In general, Lidl seems to be getting worse and worse. Other supermarkets now have self-checkouts that also allow you to pay with cash, which makes life much easier. Here, you often can't do that, which is frustrating--especially when you want to send your child to buy something and give them cash. Honestly, I can't stand this store anymore--neither this one in Bray nor any other Lidl. The only reason I still end up here sometimes is because Aldi doesn't have the same bakery selection. If they did, my foot would never step inside any Lidl again.

I stoked up this morning with 2 packs of turkey burgers (8 burgers in total) turkey sausages, rashers and a large tray of 20 eggs for 22 Euro. Their meat selection is great, they have fresh off the bone meat at the counter, or have pre packed meals, including veg, which are ready to cook. The guys are super friendly and helpful too.
