They installed a water heater last April 2020 and it stopped working 2 weeks ago. I have called them numerous times because it is still under warranty, and they are giving me the run around. I've used this company previously. They replaced my my old water heater with a tankless back in 2017. I thought they did a pretty fast and efficient job then, so when I needed my garbage disposal fixed or replaced a few days ago, I gave them a call. I called on a Saturday, a plumber came out on Monday. The plumber was on time and handed me a card with his name on it. Jose was the Plumber. He informed me that my garbage disposal was no longer any good, so he suggested I replace it. I went out and purchased the best quality (and best priced ) garbage disposal I could find. They came out on a Wednesday and replaced my old garbage disposal with a new one. Jose replaced everything in exactly one hour. Jose was fast, kept the area in my kitchen pretty clean for replacing a dirty old garbage disposal and they quoted me a pretty good price, as I was looking to save money where I could, since I was not prepared to go buy a whole new system. Anyway, this is my second time using this particular plumbing company and I am pleased with the work and professionalism they have provided my home each time they have come out to help. After an exceptional experience with Emilio & his brother Nestor; we reached out again a little over a year later. We needed to repipe our entire home! It's fairly common in houses built in the early 1980's as the galvanized pipe begins to pit and create pinhole leaks. Emilio gave us an excellent price for the job. Literally thousands less than we expected. On top of that, his pricing included all wall repair, wall & ceiling texturing and painting! A one-stop project! I won't kid you. The process is a royal pain. But Nestor (Emilio's brother) made sure we had water in our master bath the first day of the project. The team actually stayed until 10pm to get it done. The crew protected our furniture and cleaned up after every day. Everyone was polite, appreciative and clearly wanted to do good work. After 3 1/2 days of running pex through the house, we were completely connected. The next phase was handled by another team. Auricio, Carmelo & Romero. Magicians. Our walls were patched, then re-textured, then painted. We couldn't tell where the original wall ended and the patch began. They matched everything perfectly. Frankly, I'd hire these guys to paint my home any day of the week. Here's the bottom line. Get It Done Plumbing (Emilio & Nestor) got it done. With a minimum of pain to us. Get it Done did our repipe last spring. We'd only been in our house for about nine months when water started pouring out of the utility room ceiling. Since our house was old, and we knew the repipe was an eventuality, we decided to go ahead and do the whole house. We got a few quotes from different companies, but Get it Done had the best price, could start quickly and included all the sheetrock work and painting. Fast forward to the great freeze of 2018 and after last nights' cold snap we ended up with frozen pipes despite our best effort of wrapping. Once it thawed, we checked for leaks and sure enough one of the exterior pipes had cracked. We called them around 6, they came by about an hour and a half later (understandable given call volume) and we were fixed up by 9 PM. They even ran out to Home Depot to get the right part to get us sorted. I'm really happy with the original repipe, and the continued high level of service. Fast!!! Called, then texted address. This was for an investment property of mine. Had a clogged sink and jacuzzi tub that wasn't draining. They came out fairly quickly and repaired both problems. They charged $220 for about 2 hours worth of work. I assume that's reasonable. They charge a $65 trip charge which applies to repairs. I advise if a major company is giving you a high quote, call and get another estimate to avoid overpaying. read more

We called Friday AM and they said they would be out around 4PM that day for a sewer cleanout. At 4:30 they called and said they were running late. At 5:30 we called and they said they were still running late and would check and call us back. They also informed us that although they didn't honor their committment for Friday service they did not work on Saturday. I would have either not promised to come out of Friday, or when I couldn't make it Friday, I would have sent someone Saturday, just to show I cared. They never called us back. Our response: yes, this was 3 months ago as this review was forgotten and left in draft. luckily, others have had good experiences with this company and good for them. Emilio did promise us our money back but as he stated, decided otherwise due to his "review" of some video. Where the lack of professionalism comes in is, I had to work from home expecting Emilio provide the refund, but since he decided not to, there was no contacting to let us know. Even when my boyfriend texted him, no response. Sorry, but he left me hanging. Like I mentioned, we were recommended that a hydrojet was the ONLY means of clearing the pipe and yet, we had a different plumber come in, explain exactly what happened and cleared it in LESS than 30 minutes using a regular snake. Also, said that a hydrojet shouldn't be used. One plumber was able to clear a pipe in 30 minutes and the other wasn't in 2 hours time. So there is clearly a difference in expertise. read more

I live in an old duplex in the north Montrose neighborhood and the downstairs unit was getting water collecting in the bottom of their dishwasher for no apparent reason. I called John Moore Plumbers out to solve the problem on two separate occasions. They never identified the cause of the problem, but did suggest a $6,000 possible repair -- and weren't even sure if that would actually resolve the issue. When the issue didn't resolve, I finally looked on Yelp for a different plumber. One of Emilio's guys came out and identified the likely cause of the issue almost immediately. Because I told Emilio about the previous issues, he also came out and spent an hour checking out all of the other possible causes. The issue seems to be resolved. Total cost was $185. His team was courteous, thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and went to great lengths not to perform or charge for unnecessary services. I initially used them to fix/update a gas valve for my new dryer. They were able to come the very next day and even brought protective booties for their shoes to keep my house clean. I was very impressed by that. He was fast and efficient and even looked at other potential problems and gave me a free estimate. I shopped around and his prices are cheaper than others and his reviews are better. Then a few weeks later we found a leaky pipe right before we went to bed. I called him the next morning and he came in the afternoon to fix it. He offered us two options, a patch or new pipe. The new pipe was more than double the patch cost. He recommended using the patch and we appreciated that he didn't try to push the more expensive option. Overall, they are my new plumbers and I'll continue to use them for any other future needs. I placed a call in this morning at 8am and he was here by 10am and done by 11:30am. He came in assessed my issues (I have many), consulted with his boss and got my emergency clogs fixed. He wore shoe protectors before entering the house which is to me the first sign of professionalism and caring about the customer. My review is long overdue! Honestly forgot to write but this plumbing service is by far the best and affordable. My shower head was not shooting any hot water so the valve needs to be replaced. The plumber that came was polite, helpful and very patient. I had to get the water shut off but no one was in the leasing office! The plumber attempted to fix it with the water on but was unsuccessful. I hate to waste a trip. Luckily for me, I finally got the office to turn off the water. Two plumbers were able to fix the problem and it did not take that long at all. They even went to the nearest home depot to buy the part with no additional charge. Pilot was out on water heater and needed a thermocouple replacement. Emilio came and fixed the issue in about 10 minutes. Had another plumbing issue that had been plaguing us for weeks and had him check it out. A handy man had already visited us twice and was always unable to resolve the issue (a tub faucet leak). Emilio fixed it again in about 10 minutes. Had a third issue. He tried to repair it but it required a specific brand part (even his universal replacement would not suffice) and he could not, but he showed me the issue, identified the make and part that I needed and showed me how to do the replacement myself.
