This is a family-owned business with fair pricing. I have multiple rental properties and I use them for all properties. They properly drain your AC line. Proper maintenance for draining AC line is not done correctly by Davis or Airtron. Always had my lines flood until I started using these guys. They will not rip you off. read more

Very prompt to come out and give me the quote. Unfortunately very expensive quote almost 300 more than what I have received from others. I know you will say that we had price manual that we use for quote but you have to change that to be competitive. One more thing- for inspection you quoted $153 but I checked my city has 100 fees for inspection. So where that $53 dollars come from. So please change your price manual to be competitive. During the huge freeze that just hit our area of Texas, we knew that some of the well had frozen and cracked. That much we could see. My spouse has worked with Kae Edwards before, and we called as soon as we could, if only to get on the list for repairs. With all the plumbing damage in our area, and all the plumbers being so overworked, I was thrilled when they came out so very early on a weekend. I had resigned myself to a wait (residential versus commercial), and possibly a lack of parts due to all the DIYers and the run on supplies that comes with every catastrophe. They were able to complete repairs, improve the running of the lines from the well, and actually made things better. Amazing plumbers and truly nice people (while waiting, we chatted). This plumber is a real find! He was appointed to our job by our home warranty company for a leaking water heater. I left a message at 8am and he was with me by 10am. He adjusted his schedule to deal with my emergency. It was a complete contrast to the replacement of my other water heater last year. Because the shut-off valve wouldn't shut off, he drained the tank and by-passed it, whilst he sourced a replacement. Ron was very knowledgeable and customer-orientated. The job was completed in a very timely manner and he managed to find the cause of the leak from the pan to outside of the house...nails in a pipe. He also informed me that I had a water pump that wasn't plugged in. Now for the first time in nine years, I have instant hot water in my kitchen faucet! This company was honorable and professional. I sent a photo of my issue and the plumber quoted me a reasonable price. He even told me that I could fix the issue myself. The problem was the sprinkler system; however, I am still under warranty and the sprinkler company is going to repair. The reason I am writing this review is because several other plumbing companies gave me exorbitant quotes, ranging as high as $695. One company even told be it would cost $395 to repair. I have since learned that the part is only $35 on Amazon and I can fix it myself. Kae Edward Plumbing was honest. I want to warn everyone to beware of those who may not be honorable and or only interested in overcharging you. Had a small leak in a pvc pipe under an outdoor kitchen sink. Called Kae Edwards and they came out promptly. After inspecting the pipe they quoted a price of $369. When I inquired how long it would take he said it was hard to say. I also was not given a break down of how much of the price was for parts. The pipe was somewhat hard to access so I can understand that it would cost more than the usual repair. I felt that $369 was way too much, however, so I went online to see if there was a YouTube video that could show me how to make the repair. There were several. The parts at Home Depot were around $10. Once I actually found the correct video and purchased the parts, my total labor time was about an hour. I understand they have to make a living, but $369 for a simple repair seems exorbitant considering I did it myself in an hour. I can only assume it would have taken them half the time it took me. Although the plumber was professional in his interactions with me, I feel the price was not fair considering it was such a small job. read more

There was a leak out by my water meter by the street and water was in both ditches. The city said it was my side that had the leak and I needed a plumber. I called 3 plumbers they all said next week sometime..i needed somebody RIGHT AWAY! Well,I called this company and although they had a busy Friday ,they HAD A SPACE to squeeze me in...(although it took hours to come deal with my problem.)they were here right away.! Very professional,and knowledgeable. .we discovered that the weight of the heavy city lawnmower had actually caused the underground break with their heavy equipment ! It was Quite confusing getting all things straight with city who finally acknowledged responsibility. This plumber was SO GOOD ,and thoughtful of my dilemma and just kept Working at it til he fixed everything.
