We had paid upfront most of the bill so we were pretty uncomfortable with the lack of communication. We went over to the shop multiple times in person to check on the car, it became the only way to get an update. Additionally, when we finally got the car back, there were car accessories/items missing from the car. We asked them about those items and they never appeared. They lost them.
