I took my truck to Miami Mufflers to spot weld a pipe leading into my catalytic converter after an attempted theft of the converter. Ford told me they could weld the hole the thieves left me for $150 an hour and it would take at least t 2 hours to complete. I was ready to do it until the days that followed. A friend told me to check Miami Mufflers and when I did, they put my truck up and welded the hole shut in 3 minutes. I said How much? $20 bucks!! I could've kissed the guy!! In and out!! I recently had an aftermarket exhaust installed (at a different shop) on my '11 Tacoma Xrunner which I found after a week to be too droning for a daily and too raspy on hard acceleration. I emailed Miami Muffler for advice and the owner, Miguel, was very prompt and helpful in reply. I came in and his son, Michael was also very friendly and helpful and put the truck right on the lift (it helps to get there early as more cars came in afterward). He looked it over with a professional eye and gave me some options to start with. A few minutes later, and a larger muffler installed in place of a resonator and bingo, just the sound level I was looking for. The installer was nice enough to give me a box to put the removed (still new) resonator in so I wouldn't cut my hands on the burrs. All that, a great price and year warranty on the install work. I never pushed you around, you installed it incorrectly. I asked for you to fix your mistake and you were the rudest owner I have ever dealt with to this day, made me waste 150 bucks. I'm ashamed that's how you run business. And if you want to remember the exact situation, it was a cut out valve and I told you it needed to be installed side ways, and you said no it can only go with the bulk facing down, I went over a speed bump as a slow as possible and it completely ripped it off because YOU installed it incorrectly. If you cant install a cut off valve then your just an idiot. I told you how to do it and then when it breaks from not listening you say you can not help me out with YOUR mistake. I don't care if it was 3 years ago, the customer is always right. And you lost a lot of business cause of me, I can assure you that. read more

Miami Mufflers is a great place to have your muffler replaced or to do any modification to your car exhaust system. I took my bmw e39 540i M sport to have the muffler replaced with a Dinan muffler. After job was done, I was called to hear if I was satisfied with the sound. Well, the sound was almost the same as the stock muffler, very quiet. So, I was advised by the installer to remove the resonator. I had resonator deleted and the sound was amazing. Not loud annoying but nice growling sound. You always see Mike the owner/manager hands-on in the shop, helping out everybody. Price and service are fantastic. I recommend arriving early if you go, because later in the day it gets busy, so you have to wait. I highly recommend this shop!! AAAA+++++ read more

Once again I am severely disappointed. I live in homestead and heard good reviews about miami muffler. Well they are all lies. I came here to get 2 o2 bungs welded in and was quoted $60. I figure that's not too bad. I get here and the quote doubles to $120. I'm like wow, typical miami!!! I have them go ahead because I've already waited an hour and I don't have a welder. Well the guy doing the job is the slowest guy I've seen. This guy took at least 2 hours to do a 10 minute job!!!! It's like he is learning how to weld on my car. I just hope the work holds up. I went to this shop to upgrade the exhaust tips on my car. My sense is they do good work but the problem with the shop is the selection of products they have is not great, and also they don't have catalogues to help you pick the best products. The guy essentially showed my a limited selection of tips. Claimed that these were all the tips available from the top brands such as magnaflow, ractive, etc. and that I should pick from them. I picked a set, but on the whole I'm not that happy with it. I wish the guy had been more honest. I later found some Wald tips which fit the look of my car much better but which evidently he didn't have in stock. Also the shop is not particularly clean and seems like a hold in the wall establishment run on a shoestring budget. I wouldn't go here again. There must be some more high end exhaust shops with better selection elsewhere in Miami. read more
