I rented an automotive lift from Get Lifted Auto Garage for 2 hours. However, I was also charged for a "full hour extra" after exceeding my reservation by 15 minutes. I find this to be a little unfair. I understand that businesses need to make money, but I believe that in this instance, Get Lifted Auto Garage was taking advantage. Charging for a full hour of rental for only 15 minutes of lateness is excessive, especially if you want to establish a solid customer relationship with your patrons. I planned on going back to the facility to work on my car over the weekend, but after this interaction I will have to look around for another shop. I would not recommend Get Lifted Auto Garage to anyone looking for a reasonable place to work on their car unless you're willing to break your back and spend top dollar doing so. There are other businesses that offer automotive lift rentals for a more reasonable price and better customer relations. The owner of Get Lifted Auto Garage tried to dispute my review by pointing to the fine print in the rental agreement, which states that any time over the reservation time will be charged at the full hourly rate. However, I believe that this is a case of unfair business practices. The fine print is hidden in the rental agreement and is not made clear to customers at the time of booking. Additionally, the 15-minute grace period is not industry standard. Most businesses that offer automotive lift rentals offer a 30-minute grace period. I believe that Get Lifted Auto Garage is more interested in making money than providing good customer service. I will not be removing my review unless I receive a full refund.
