I said I wanted a length where I could wear my hair up and not worry about pieces falling out. I always bring in a picture to show the stylist exactly what I want so there are no miscommunications. I received a cut that hits at the collar bone and the front layers are too short so it does not make an A-line. Also, when I put it up, pieces of my hair fall out. I'm pretty disappointed especially because the prices were raised to $60 for a cut and blow-dry. I've received a handful of haircuts here and have only had one bad experience so I did not want to take off too many stars. In the past, I've just asked for a trim and face-framing layers. With the most recent experience and the raised prices, I may look elsewhere for my next cut which won't be any time soon since I have to grow my hair out again.

Kayla worked with me to find the best shade match with the dimensions I asked for. She and I picked out two colors from Bellami. We ordered them, and she prepared them for my install. She's personable, and listens to feedback without taking it negatively. I think above all else, she is honest about what to expect with extensions. They're expensive and quite the labor to maintain, but she was very transparent about what to expect in that regard. The only thing I feel a tad weary about is the feel of the bonds in my hair. At the moment (and maybe because they're new) they feel a bit tough to the touch. The bonds are meant to soften with time as you wash your hair, so I'm looking forward to that. It feels great to have a full head of hair again :). I'm a regular gym-goer at this point in my life, and the k-tips are flexible to my lifestyle needs. I can gym, put my hair up, go in the pool if I want, and style per usual.

My stylist was Lyric. She seemed pretty scattered from the beginning. She invited me to the chair we talked about what I was looking for she said no problem and she got to work. I was looking to cut my shoulder length hair to a pixie cut. She cut off the majority of my hair then shampoo. Everything seemed to be going good even though she was a bit distracted. Lyric was stopping to check messages on her phone as they came in. About 15min into my cut she took a phone call. She invited her friends in to come talk to her while still cutting my hair. Her friend came in and sat in the empty chair next to us and they proceeded to have a personal conversation about going out, their friends, and their partners. After chatting between themselves for about 15min Ricky asked to see Lyric in the back. When she came back she begrudgingly asked her friend to leave. During the time she was talking with her friend she was very distracted. My hair is very uneven and choppy. Very poorly blended. some areas are very short, some very thick. It was a very disappointing experience. I had just worked up the courage to chop my hair off and it just didn't go well. I have nothing bad to say about Ricky or his business. I applaud him for being observant and taking steps to make my experience better. Unfortunately it was just a bad experience and haircut.

She has over 20 years of experience - sometimes this is a wonderful thing, but sometimes you find that a hairstylist with that many years of experience gets kind of "stale" with their skills. Not in this case! I like to wear a cute little mid-2000s Ginnifer Goodwin style pixi cut and she ROCKED it. She totally got what I was going for with a quick little consultation. I don't have a ton of hair and she was THOROUGH anyway. Sometimes when you have fine hair you get a few kind of cursory swipes and she was meticulous. On top of a fantastic cut, I got a very nice shampoo and great conversation. She is sweet and personable and made me feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed. I will be back. Thanks Rebecca!!!
