We had a kayaking tour with Jessica today, at Weeki Wachee springs. We had such a brilliant time!!! The tour lasted about 2 hours once in the water and Jessica was such a fabulous guide! She took her time pointing out wildlife and telling us about different trees and plants; and took great care in making sure all kayakers, were travelling at a good speed, safely and under her wing. She also helped us to spot manatees!! We didn't think we'd see any, at this time of the year, but we saw 5! It was pretty magical and she made sure they were not disturbed and that everyone could enjoy the moment. (She even took rubbish out of the spring!). This place is AMAZING!!!! We emailed ahead of time and someone got back to us really quickly and answered all of our questions in a thorough way (not just a simple answer, but detailed as to what they saw on the tours the last few days so we knew what to expect). Boats were new and incredible to see through!! Our tour guide Vinny was super knowledgeable and personable. He worked hard to connect with each person and make sure everyone had a great time. We really enjoyed the chance to see a baby and mama manatee. The trip was beautiful and I love that the place has someone take pictures and videos so you can relax and enjoy the kayaking without worrying about dropping your phone. I highly recommend kayaking with this company. While our conditions weren't "perfect" (low tide and a little wind), our tour guide, Jessica, ensured that we had an enjoyable and memorable experience. She also took some amazing pictures that she shared with us after the paddle. We were fortunate to see many manatees. Jessica even captured an underwater video of a calf feeding on it's mother. You can tell that Jessica truly loves her job. I really can't say enough good things. Even if we didn't see a single manatee, i would still recommend. Beautiful waters and beautiful scenery. What a great experience for the whole family! Our guide, JB was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. it was our first time kayaking and we were a little nervous but JB eased our fears immediately. While we didn't see any manatees because it was the end of the season, being out on the beautiful, clear river was amazing enough. I had to speak with the owner because of a huge mistake I made and she was awesome! took care of the problem right away! this is the kind of business you want to give your money to! Davis is a the perfect guide. Personable, knowledgeable and who seems to be a genuinely good person. He waited patiently as we arrived a bit late. Thoroughly explained all safety rules, and offered helpful tips. On the water he remained focused on the safety of the group while taking the time to interact with individuals. Equipment was in good shape and I felt safe. Location offers a small gift shop. Parking was ample. Clean small bathrooms each with a shower are on location. Can't wait to do it again! read more

A beautiful day but a bit too warm for manatees although we did see a couple. Vinny was a great guide. Pace was a bit fast for the 4 mile trip and we got off to a bad start going the wrong direction and had to play catch up. Kayaks are not very comfortable. Pads slip out from underneath you. Clear kayak is a gimic since water is clearer and can se everything! Area was more developed leaving from Mary's Camp Ground than expected. Basically paddle through marsh community to a large hole and back. read more

We had such a nice experience on this tour. Davis, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and kind. He made sure to point out beautiful birds and trees along the river. We didn't get to see any manatees but he did make every attempt to try to find one for me since they are my favorite animal. It's ok Davis It was still an amazing kayak tour! The clear kayaks are the way to go. It was our first time using those and it made looking into the clear waters very special. read more

I booked a trip for myself, my teenage son, husband, and my dad. We all had a really great time! Vinny was knowledgeable and personable! He made the trip a great experience! We enjoyed seeing a manatee, watching the sun set, and the glow lights. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone! I thought kayaking for two hours would be hard but it wasn't. Such a fun & rewarding experience. This was my fourth time on a tour with Get Up & Go. We went in January on a cold day because it's the time you're most likely to see manatees (we saw like 10-ish). Gary was our tour guide and he was the best! My shy son felt very comfortable talking to him and asking questions. He explained everything well when we were getting ready to head out. This was our first kayaking trip for my son and myself. Bella was amazing! She was patient and kind. We didn't see any Manatees, but the trip was awesome! I have definitely found my happy place with kayaking and the rivers of Florida . Hopefully the rivers of Ohio will have to do until I can visit Florida again read more
