I came in with the intention of grabbing an afternoon pre-dinner cheeseburger and Baja Blast. I should have turned around and left when I saw how dried out their "grab a slice" pizza was. Of the two workers there, neither spoke to me in any capacity. One was restocking drinks and gave me the stank eye for grabbing a drink from the fridge next to where he was working. The other, at the register, was on a phone call on his earbuds the entire time he helped the person in front of me and then me. He didn't give me a total, he didn't ask if I wanted a receipt, he just scanned the items and threw them into a bag, then turned around to play on his phone while I paid. As I was leaving, another customer came in who was having trouble with the pumps, and the fella at the register just waved her off. Didn't give her any assistance. He just told her to go back and try again. Now comes the fun part! The Baja Blast was fine because it's hard to mess up a bottled drink. The cheeseburger, while I didn't have high hopes, tasted about as good as you can expect. Within 15 minutes of me eating it, however, my entire digestive system rejected it. I spent nearly an hour during my stepdaughter's choir concert, clenching so I didn't brown my trousers. Then, after getting home, I spent the next ten minutes blowing up my own bathroom. The fact that this place gets any business outside of gasoline is absolutely astonishing. I don't expect to be pampered, but the lack of any sort of any verbalization from the cashier, the sticky floor, the garbage food, and the hellscape my bathroom turned into? Absolutely disgusting.
