Now I have to give massive kudos to this awesome Lakewood gas station which is not only shiny and new but has free air for anybody. That's one of the coolest things I've ever heard. Nobody gives free air - these guys do. It was a godsend on this particular night, as I had a slow leak. I was impressed and happy about it. So this was where I ended up changing my tire and it took about three hours (1am-4am) and other than an Ashton Kutcher look alike who popped in to put free air in his tire there was never a point where anybody bothered me or hit me up for anything - so it's definitely in a safe area. I think I saw more cops out here than regular cars. The tire changing was a nightmare, but the gas station was awesome. It's well-lit even when it's closed. I guess that's my only complaint is that they close late at night - but other than that it's the perfect gas station.

I had a Mercedes sprinter they were supposed to replace the glow plugs and find where I had a boost…read moreleak. A smoke test showed a bad EGR valve, I had already ordered a metal replacement incase so it were ready and available. Upon waiting to pickup my van, they never called me. So after a few days seeing my car parked on the side street I called to inquire. They informed me they snapped a glow plug off in the head. When I asked what was going to be done, they insisted my 2004 sprinter with 36k miles would be rusted out by the time it needed replaced again and not to worry. Frustrated, I left to think about how to deal with this. 6 miles down the road my EGR valve blew the bottom clamp off, which required me to fix it myself. Later a glow plug shot out of my motor leaving me broken down on the side of the highway. Their incompetence to torque anything down to spec has left me stranded, and looked for a competent mechanic worthy of replacing the head after they damaged it. They want to part in helping to rectify the damage they caused. But don't worry, one of the guys there will tell you he's qualified because he's been building race bikes for 30 years, it would be great if that knowledge translated to Cars but apparently that's not the case at The Gas Station. Usually for the cheapest gas I go all the way down to the Akron area, or maybe the odd spot near Parma might be a wise choice. But out here in the west burbs, it's all about Circle K. They don't have consistently cheap prices, or a lot of pumps, and they're not fancy or new, so I'll stick with 3, but I'd still go here before almost anywhere else when in my beloved Lakewood area. Circle K? More like Circle Yay.

The store comes under the category of convenient store even though there are other stores on the same corner. but I'm sure most people go into Moons just to go to Moons, say hello, tell a story or maybe, like me, I have been going there for 20years or so.
