Our tour!
Kaitlyn M.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time on our bike tour! Our guide, Bob, was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable and brought the battles to life through his explanations! He kept everyone highly engaged, and we learned so much! I would highly recommend this bike tour for your Gettysburg trip!

Bruce was our tour guide on Saturday. He was very knowledgeable of the battle and answered all of the questions that I had. This is the best way to see the battlefield and really get an excellent sense of the topography of the whole field.

My wife, me and Robert E Lee!

Once again spent the Veterans Day holiday weekend with friends at our beloved Keystone Inn. (This…read moretime I stayed in the General Reynolds Room for the first time. I fully recommend the three-floor climb to walk off some calories from the delicious breakfasts!) Speaking of, innkeepers Carrie and Olivia took great care of us. We were even lucky enough to interact with Co-owner Christine Cambell who was also there for the weekend. (If she's there with you, pick her brain!!! She knows everything Gettysburg and is a most gracious hostess.) The property is very well thought out and appointed. While preserving lots of the look and feel of times gone by, it also affords guests with every modern convenience! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a wonderful retreat in one of our nation's most historic cities. You won't regret it. A. Clyde

The Inn is an absolutely gorgeous building, beautifully furnished, and our room (The Basil Biggs…read moreRoom) had its own balcony and a luxurious king-sized bed and a sofa for sitting and reading. The location is good. The breakfasts were uneven: one outstanding, one pretty awful (a cold Egg McMuffin and cottage cheese?), and one so-so. But perhaps they had a new or temporary cook, because other reviewers did not seem to find this to be the case. We did not find a book in our room with information? Instructions on operating the thermostat would have been helpful, as it got quite cold the third night. Parking is very generous. All in all, we would return, as this was definitely the nicest of the three B&Bs in which I have stayed in Gettysburg.

I have never felt so welcome anywhere as I did at the Farnsworth House. My family stayed two nights, in two rooms, ate breakfast in the morning in the dining room, we ate dinner both nights at the Tavern and did the Haunted Cellar Tour with Patricia. The ground at the Farnsworth Inn where the restaurant is is covered in wood chips; meaning the feet do NOT lay level on the ground. If you lean back you can fall back and if you land wrong crack your skull on one of the rocks if you are on the perimeter which I was. That was bad; worse was the brain dead girl who saw my blood on my hand and knee ( my knee was bad) and instead of saying "let me tell me manager and are you OK?" She says DUMBLY, "Sorry". this did no good at all obviously. I would not eat there until they level the ground the chairs are on outside and hire intelligent helpful people. "Sorry" was NOT what I wanted to hear. Care for me and the future people who gently lean back in their chairs to relax and then crash into a bed of bricks and rocks is the correct approach. Really really bad place
