The doctor was wonderful. The problem was I logged on online and added my name to the list. said I was 6 ppl away and it would be a 50 min wait time. About 50 minutes later it said I was 3rd in line to head in, checked in by the door and still said number 3. the waiting room was full. they let all those people go in front of me. I was there in the waiting room over an hour. I checked in online at 11:40, and I left the office at 3:00. i would have waited had I known I was going to be there all day. the front desk lady was sweet as could be and understood my frustration as did a nurse trying to explain the way they do things and not saying they were the right way to do it. I have visited this urgent care clinic several times within a 3 year span and have always left satisfied with care that I was given. From the check in to the vitals taken and the main care treatment. I went in after falling and hurting my ankle and shoulder. I had a very short wait time. Took son in for illness. No wait so that's good. After that things went downhill. While some might think this is nitpicking, it actually tells the tail for the visit. First thing I notice is the nurses lack of professionalism while attending to patients with her shoes untied. Second, in all my years I have never seen medical personnel take blood pressure on a patient with a sweatshirt on. While reading was on the lower side of normal, how much could taking the reading over the sweatshirt? Seems like a lazy practice. Lastly and by far the worst issue. NP tells us my child was negative for strep and Covid but positive for the flu. While reading through paperwork, they charted positive for Covid. Once again just lazy behavior. read more

I chose this location because i was traveling and it had good ratings. I got there early before the waiting room was packed but still had to wait a couple of hours. When they finally got me in my room I still had a very long wait before the doctor came in to see me and the air was turned up way too high. (I was freezing) I did mention the room was too cold but the first girl ignored my comment. Towards the end of my appoitment another nurse came in and noticed it was too cold and she offered a blanket but all they had was a towel. I still appreciated her kindness. Second time I have gone for a sinus cocktail shot at this location, and been given a false positive Covid test. Immediately left and got tested again elsewhere and it was negative. When I got there on a Sunday morning, only 4 were in the waiting room including me. I didn't think I would have to wait long, but I found out there were 15 people waiting back in the rooms and the place was freezing cold. I had to wait and wait. Didn't even look at the injury just handed me the x-ray report and made me feel like I wasted everyone's time for even bothering to have an injury checked. Will be taking this issue up with higher up's of the practice, no one should be treated this way especially when you are paying for a service. My daughter and I had had our flu shots earlier this year. Therefore, when we started having the flu like symptoms it was surprising to us. But, we were able to walk in to Urgent Care in Southaven and were greeted when we entered. After completing the paperwork we only waited about five minutes. The staff treated us very well especially my daughter. The nurse practitioner was very Professional and understood our complaints. After being swabbed her forThe flu and strap throat both came up negative. Nor did we have a sinus infection. The nurse practitioner offered up a solution and explained the benefits of following her plan. I must say we appreciated the overall experience. Urgent Care on Getwell closes early when they get tired of seeing patients. We went in at 6:15 and were turned away when they close at 7. The lady at the front desk is beyond rude. After you get past the front desk, the doctors are very pleasant. The purpose of an Urgent Care clinic is supposed to be for after hours care for colds, flu, etc. Closing early defeats the purpose. The front desk receptionist needs to find a new job!!! She is dictating the business hours and turning away revenue. Try to see your regular doctor and avoid Urgent Care if possible. They said it was due to a positive Covid case of a patient. I mean, "don't you run into that everyday?" Put a mask on spray the place and keep it moving. Very pleased with this Urgent Care Center. My wait time was minimal, and the Doctors and Staff members were very professional. Everyone was very engaged to help you out and to make sure that your concerns were taken care of. It is a breath of fresh air to have staff that are confident and competent at their job. They put you as #1 and treat you as if you are the POTUS. They fixed me up in a day and a half. I showed 90% improvement by the next day. A shot in the butt and a few meds really made a difference. Absolutely FANTASTIC! I have been looking for a clinic that is open on the weekends and I decided to try this one. The staff is wonderful, and the facilities are very new and very clean. I saw Kimberly Smith and she was absolutely wonderful - she took a LOT of time with me, and truly listened. It's the first time since I began having back issues that I felt like someone was actually listening to me and truly cared about me as a person. I have told everyone I work with about this clinic. Staff is extremely rude. NP was not professional. I was also charged $250 for an office visit and charged $100 from Labcorp for tests that I didnt give my consent for nor was I informed that were being ran. I called today and was told the normal office visit is only $100. read more
